We stayed in building above the restaurant. Used Guest Entrance door immediately stairs up. Greeted by odor I can only describe as old persons house. Room was small but clean and had a twin extra bed . Very clean but a framed sign next to vanity sink read pump soaps were $12. Take it and you’ll be charged. (Why would anyone take them ?)
The room was updated but not todays standards. $250/ night paid when I booked. In morning a loud rumble possibly the furnace . Shower water nice and hot . Chose this hotel proximity to a wedding. I would not recommend.

Hallway and room funny odor

Reservation was made thru booking.com.    Ski in/out room with2 beds was booked but at check in we were given a room down the road from mountain with only 1 bed.   We did complain and ended up with suite style room with 1 queen and 2 twins.   (2 rooms with a bath).    Only 1 room had TV.   Although there was a coffee maker, there was no coffee!    
Room was dated but CLEAN.   TOWELS WERE CLEAN.  
NO ELEVATOR to second floor so carrying luggage and ski equipment to second floor was tough in narrow stairs and hallways.

Ski Trip

Went for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Was surprised at how the resort is not contained to one area but spread out along the main road. 
Make sure to bring your car because to get to the lake and back to your lodging most likely you’ll need your own transportation. Only restaurant in the resort is Traditions which was fine but seek out other venues for dinner. You have to either pack your lunch or go to a local restaurant because Traditions is only open for breakfast and dinner. Staff at the office for check in and out were wonderful especially Heidi and Jill. They were very accommodating.

Lots of activities!

We stayed for 4 nights in October, when the leaves were starting to get spectacular. The resort owns an entire mile long pristine lake. We stayed in the Lakeside Cottage, just steps from the canoes and kayaks which are free to use.

Lakeside Cottage was one of the few rooms with a king sized bed. It's right next to the lake on ground level, so there's not a lot of privacy. This was not a problem for us since most of the time there were no people at the lake in the chilly October weather. There were 2 mini refrigerators, a toaster oven and a microwave, but no plates or utensils, so bring your own. I also suggest bringing a power strip so you can plug in all your electronics at the desk. WiFi was fine. 

The restaurant across the street was quite nice as well. The whole experience was excellent and very affordable. We will be back!

Close to the White Mountains but away from the hubub

It was our first time at the resort and I have to admit I was a little nervous before getting there as sometimes pictures and reviews can be deceiving. But our experience and stay at Purity Spring Resort was nothing but an enjoyable stay! We chose to take some day trips to surrounding areas (i.e. Mount Washington), but we could have easily spent all of our 4 day-stay inside the resort and not feel bored. 
Our room was cozy and spotless. With a 3-year old in tow who's also a picky eater, we brought everything but the kitchen sink. We were able to manage perfectly and were very grateful to have access to the laundry facility on site. But before I go off on unessential details, I would like to say this: it is beautiful! One of the most serene places I have ever visited. The staff was genuinely helpful and nice, always with a smile and willingness to help out. Our toddler would not want to get out of water and enjoyed her first canoe experience. 
There is a lot of attention to detail. For instance, due to COVID precautions, the staff will not service your room daily, but they were attentive enough to provide a lot more towels than needed to make sure we don't ran out. 
It's a good value for the money and the resort does not misrepresent the services they offer. I plan to come back in the winter.

A nice surprise!

The amount of money you pay for this place; you should be in a better room. I feel like I’m in the ghetto! Ugly room, didn’t have an iron or ironing board. Just disappointed with it all. Definitely false advertisement! They only show you the prettier side. We stayed in the tan ones…I like nice things in life…but terrible. Never again!

It sucks!

We rented a 4 bedroom unit for a long getaway vacation.  We had a great time, the location was great, beach was very nice, we had a grill to cook food, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, and full kitchen.  We went canoeing, kayaking, all was great.  The only complaint I would have here is how to get in touch with someone in the office.  There is no cellular service up there, and at the time we didn't know there were land lines in room.  We didn't know how to get to beach, kayak, or canoe, our electricity went out and we couldn't tell anyone because no one would answer the front desk.  It was only next day could we have breakers reset.  Only upon going to a farm stand did we find out how to get to the beach, it is very well hidden.  Other surprise, I know there was to be a housekeeping charge but when we got our final bill it was 200.00 I sent a note to the office asking about it and it is now 3 days ago still no answer.  I guess my biggest complaint would be that the office should put some type of what and where things are. located.   Don't get me wrong, we accomplished our goal to have a small vacation together as family since we had to cancel two already, but the front desk people I think need to be a little more willing to reply to potential customer or current customers.  Many if not all extra activities were all shut down due to covid

Summer Vacation during Covid -19

Our Boy Scout troop stayed at this resort, 31 boys and 9 adults, for a weekend ski trip. We stayed at the "Tecumsah" lodge, which contained no-frills rooms which were perfect for a large family- or friends-group such as ours. Our group was large enough to take over most of the lodge. All of the rooms contained a full-sized bed and one- or two- sets of bunk-beds (though our room contained a full, a twin, and a bunk bed). Most of the bunk-beds were wooden and sturdy, but some of the rooms with two "real" beds are metal. The wooden bunk beds were comfortable for an adult to sleep on, but the metal bunk bed frames were really only comfortable for a child, so make sure which kind of bunk-frame the room you are booking has as an adult will be uncomfortable on the metal-framed bunk version.

Food was served in the huge dining hall downstairs and was adequate and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful, though only present during the day. Breakfast each day consisted of scrambled eggs, a meat, a starch (french toast, pancakes, waffles), and some kind of porridge. There was a large coffee maker available all day until it ran out after-hours, as well as juice, cocoa, and tea available 24:7, as well as fresh fruit. Lunch was also similarly adequate and tasty; as was supper. Not 5-star hotel fare, but perhaps a very well-run cafeteria with better-quality ingredients? They are able to accommodate gluten and dairy allergies if you give the kitchen staff enough notice.

Each room had its own bathroom. There were also two bathrooms available on the first floor, one in the dining hall, the other kind of tucked away next to the front office.

There was another Girl Scout troop staying in the lodge behind us as the same time as our, as well as several related family-groups in the lodge across the street

The boys really enjoyed the pool in the main lodge (down the street), though it was so cold the weekend we were there we drove down the hill. The tubing park (part of King Pine Ski Area) was a short walk out the back of the lodge, though with the ski portion, we were lazy and drove to the bottom of the hill (but you could walk if you wanted to).

We will come back here again next year.

My only gripe is the pillows were kinda "meh." We'll come back next year, but I'll probably pack my own pillow from home.

Great lodging for a group trip

This place is not worth the money it costs to stay! We booked at "the inn" and it was basically a barn with beds in it, as is "the mill". I do not know what the other rooms looked like, but for much cheaper you can stay a a nicer place than this in north conway only 20 mins away. The pictures on their website were probably taken 20 years ago when the place was kept up nicely, it looks very run down now. Also FYI if you think you can walk around the "resort" (don't be fooled by the name...it's not!) you can not! nothing at this place is within walking distance and it is also on a busy road/highway. If you are playing in the hockey tournament there is no parking. And yes you will have to drive because they don't tell you that the pond is actually way down the very busy road and you can not walk to it. You have to park miles away and use the shuttle unless you plan on getting there for 7am then you may find a spot on the side of the road. The shuttle also takes about 30 mins just to get to the pond because it goes all around this place and picks everyone else up, again not worth it. Also as per the youth tournament website it says each participant gets free ski passes to use that weekend.........surprise surprise, you don't!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Youth Pond Hockey Tournament!

Fantastic friendly staff! Great food. So much to do. The resort is a beautiful piece of NH. Swimming or fishing in a crystal clear lake is so relaxing.
Fantastic hiking trails and the most fun was the lobster and steak cookout,everyone in their wildest tie dye. This is a must see in NH
