Although I had a key to the door there as a huge hold where the original bolt lock was....anyone could have stuck something inside of that hole and turned the handle or unlocked the bolt above the hole. The Air Conditioner worked but was across to the back of the room, outside of the bathroom so it took a long time to cool the room down and the slats were broken on the A/C and was very dusty inside. No safety handle inside of the shower which I feel is important not only for older people like myself but anyone climbing inside of the shower. No extra blanket and the pillows were so uncomfortable was was the bed...like a board! No sleep due to the hardness of the so-called mattress! Odor was very musty!

Uncomfortable Motel Room

I had booked a room when I found out my power was out because of a bad rainstorm, made the reservation  at 5pm and tried to cancel at 6:10 because I could not get there due to a downed tree, down wires that blocked me from leaving  my driveway to get there- I called and the owner was not so nice- instead of understanding she told me her husband was on 80 and he was driving fine?? what does that have to do with the down tree and wire issue I was having? She told me I had to call Expedia to cancel and then when Expedia called her she refused to cancel and charged me the full price for a room I never stayed in. I passed by there this am there were a total of 3 cars there so I don't see how they lost a room since there were so many unoccupied.  I wouldn't ever think of staying there in the future- between this and the other reviews I would suggest you DO NOT stay there!!!

Not nice!!!

This is an older property close to the center of Andover.  In general it's dated, but room was clean and had all the essentials.  Manager was very nice and parking was right in front of the room and ample.

Older Small Town Roadside Motel

We plowed for this owner 2 times. The first time he kept walking in front of the plow and behind the truck.  The second time it was about 4 ft of wet snow. We agreed on $400 and he only paid $250. He claimed money was not an issue.  He called for 2 days every few hours. When we were there he would bother the guests. This owner is a bad owner and will never have affiliation with this hotel again.

Things have gotten a lot better since 2006. Office is clean and the couches have no holes. The rooms are alot cleaner rugs are clean and beds are clean towels have no hair. Yes for you that have complain. You seem to be nit picking at everything. Prices are great. And staff is friendly. Question. Do you ever go in and show apperioation or leave a tip for the staff or maid. I do. Your room doesnt get clean by its self you know. And a thank you for my stay to the staff or how are you. Buts a smile on there face. I know this place will see me again and i will recommend my family and friends

Things have changed

We had relatives stay and they left after one hour.  The room was disgusting: Smelly, dirty, you name it.   I don't think they clean after each guest.   I can't see why anyone would chose to stay here.   Not acceptable and nothing redeeming.

Needed a local hotel just for two nights , The The room was not clean, towel has very visible hairs on it , I didn't use them, hot water is good, but the shower head is not good. microwave had used food wrap inside, no Kleenex in the room, has refrigerator in the room, this is a plus, wifi is very fast. anyway,Sorry but I would not return due to the cleanses .
