This is an older Hotel.  I believe they still have some work that needs to be done on the inside and out.  The hallways are very dark.  For the money it's just okay.  My wife said she would not stay there alone.  

Old but somewhat updated.

I always stay at a BW when I travel the tri state area. This place is very convenient , my room was very cool, clean and quiet. I had golfed in Brooklyn, NY that day and drove down to Lakewood to spend the night for another golf tournament at Lakewood Golf Club. The front desk rep.was very friendly , even recommended the Longhorn Steak House ( when I mentioned steak house) just across the hiway (Rte 70).. Had a great dinner, came back to hotel, hot shower, slept in a very comfortable bed. Got up at 6AM , had a nice full hot breakfast (free) at hotel. (Thanks BW for bringing it back).;Got to golf course by 7:15 AM. All in all, had a nice stay at this BW. 

Best Western Lakewood, NJ

We stayed overnight for a wedding in nearby Point Pleasant.  The hotel was clean, good location, front desk staff very helpful.  We would seriously consider staying here for several nights to take advantage of leisure opportunities in the immediate area.

Excellent facility and location

Check in was relatively smooth but the second we opened the door to the room there was a strong smoke odor and musty smell. The moisture in the room left the carpets feeling wet and we noticed that our clothes felt damp in the morning as well. Breakfast options were a redeeming point, but over all I feel we were overcharged 

Adequate at best

Enjoyed our visits.  Stayed for two separate 4-day stays within 2 weeks, and staff recognized us as we came and went.  They were all very friendly and accommodating.  Breakfast staff was very helpful and accommodating as well.  Many hotels are no longer offering breakfast, but they offered hot and cold breakfast that could be eaten in our room or in the cafe.  The only problem was that their pool has not been open since covid (we were also there last summer), even though it indicates on their website that they have a pool.

After an exhausting drive from Gettysburg to the Jersey shore, we called the nearest Best Western after our GPS wasn't getting us there, and the young lady at the front desk took the time to navigate us to the location late at night. We were so impressed with the customer service at this location, the clean rooms and hot breakfast in the dining room in the morning and had the best night sleep of our trip. Thank you!

Best Experience

Clean Room and well-appointed but why do they have an overpowering floral scent in the entire hotel?!
This smell was sickening. I had to unplug the scent element in my room also..I wanted to check in by 12pm due to a special circumstance. They made me return at 2:00 when the place was empty anyway. I won't be back.

We stay here when visiting family. It close to them and many restaurants.  Plus heading to the airport entrances are hop skip n a jump to nj parkway. There is no elevator so we always request ground floor and so far have always been lucky to get one. 

Convenient location

I have stayed in this hotel many times when coming for Business. Always nice, clean and very quiet. Never had any issues. I tried a few others in the area and this one I like the best. Staff is always friendly and there is plenty of places to eat around.

Buisness

Check in took an hour because the lady told me they “dont do dogs” even though I had proof she was a service dog which I offered up despite not having to. I am a one legged veteran with a clear mobility disability. I understand people get snubbed on occasion but my lack of limb is a clear disability and I offered proof of her training and letter from my doctor which by law I didnt have to do all for her to argue with me for an hour about not doing dogs even though I was already charged. Im disappointed in their lack of education on customer service skills and lack of education on Americans with Disabilities Act!
