The desk staff was great and location great. Cleaning staff is bad. Went to plug in chargers and found behind end tables, bed, and couch had trash and loose pills. Shower in this unit was rusted and got warm water, but nothing. Past.

My wife and stayed at The Crossings for the first time on 9/1/23 to 9/4/23
The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean, the grounds were kept neat. The pool was perfect. I would recommend the Crossings to anyone and will be visiting it again next year.

A Gem!

This was my 4 th stay at Crossings. 2 bed rooms with a kitchenette is perfect for my daughter and I. Close to the beach, and a few yards away are a WaWa, CVS, and an Acme supermarket. The only thing that is not close is the boardwalk and Downtown district. This is not a deal breaker for us, if you prefer less congestion, and calm - it actually is a big plus!  A 8 min car ride, and you’re there. The crossings also has maid service, a pool, and a spot to rinse sand off before entering. We go beach to pool for a bit of everything. The rooms are clean and you have 2 burners, pots and pans a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cups all in the room, a 14 ft fridge w a freezer even dish detergent is provided. You don’t need to bring anything.  

Week at Crossings

Our stay at The Crossings was great! It was a perfect location off 34th Street as we didn’t want to stay near the boardwalk streets. Convenient to stores and restaurants if needed. Our unit was well kept and had most of what we would expect. The staff was very helpful. They are strict about their policies, and that is good for keeping the place respectable, quiet, and in good condition. We would definitely return in the future.

Nice Accommodations in Great Location

Minimal housekeeping, never made beds or cleaned floor. Emptied trash and clean towels only.Offered free coffee and tea, but not available until 8:30, pretty late for most people. Other than that our stay was very nice. I would recommend Crossing and will return!!

4 day stay. At arrival, toilet was dirty, bed had some sand on sheets, no toilet paper. Hotel sign said no maid service that day. Day 2, maid service consisted of new towels and took out trash. Did not vacuum, make bed, clean bathroom or provide toilet paper (had to get at front desk). Day 3 advised no maid service. Day 4 left. I suggest you do not rent rooms you can't properly service or advise guests before rented that there is not maid service so they can make a choice. We pay for the service (its called a hotel) and we should get it.

No maid Service

It's a nice hotel but we found our room to be overcroweded with furniture, but clean.  The 2nd day we were there, the knob broke off the shower and we couldn't turn the water off.  However, upon notifying the front desk, the maintenance person came immediately to fix it.  The pool is nice and the staff friendly.  The price was right as well.

Good Price, Nice Hotel

We had  a great trip to Ocean City the past couple of days with family. We did stay at the Crossings, the staff was very nice and let us check in early. No big problems with our room other than the bathroom was very small and could use some updating. The shower curtain had mildew on the bottom of it. That is simply replaceable though. It was probably an older curtain but should be checked often other than that the room was clean which is what matters the most to me. Also the pool door entrance from inside of the hotel is confusing. I don’t believe  It said pool entrance, I don’t remember but there was a latch that said emergency exit only so that was super confusing. We did have a good stay though. The pool is clean and refreshing as well, my dtr enjoyed it. Thank you to the staff at the Crossings!

Nice hotel

This hotel, which bills itself as a "condotel", has several great features for families. First is its location. It is an easy 2 1/2 block walk to a guarded ocean beach, and is right next door to a Wawa convenience store, a CVS drug store, and an Acme supermarket, so no need to use your car to get anything you forgot or didn't think of. It is also within easy walking distance of an Italian/pizza restaurant, a small department store (Hoys 5&10), ice cream parlors, a nice children's playground, and even a farmers market!  Basically you can leave your car parked most of the time you're there, avoiding the parking hassles of downtown Ocean City.

Also, the rooms are fairly good sized and include a kitchenette (with stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator), so you can save money on meals. The hotel includes a decent swimming pool and toddler's wading pool. Each room has one free parking space. The desk and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well maintained. 

Of course, these advantages don't come without drawbacks. The biggest problem is that the hotel is pretty far from downtown OC (2 miles), so you have to drive and pay high parking fees if you want to go to the boardwalk or shopping district. There are a couple of ways to get around this. Bicycles can be rented inexpensively and OC is a very bike-friendly city. There is also an inexpensive jitney service to the boardwalk ($2/person each way) that stops a half block from the hotel and runs all day until 11pm. You can use an app on your phone to track progress of the shuttles so you don't have to wait on a street corner wondering when one will show up. Another drawback is that you don't get full maid service every day, just twice a week.

All things considered, The Crossings is a very nice option for a family vacation in OC. My family has stayed there several times over the years, and have generally been very pleased with it.
