Previous review from 2014-2015 says hotel was under renovation.  Incorrect.  This has to be the nastiest hotel EVER.  Not sure how they stay in business.  The hotel has looked the EXACT same since I started coming to the area with my husband 10 years ago. Save your money and go farther up the road.

Disgusting

The owner is an unethical, mean spirited, scam artist.  We booked a room with a king size bed.  He gave us a room with a full size bed and refused to admit that it wasn't a king.  We offered to go with him to measure the bed and he berated and disparaged us for trying to get what we paid for.  Twenty minutes later, he tried to sell our king bed room to walk-ins for well over the rate.  He barged into our room in the morning an hour before check out without even knocking and made me tell him my name!  Housekeeping walked into the room next to us while the woman was changing.  We both had Do Not Disturb tags on our doors.  We knew from the other reviews that the owners were unfriendly and the place was run down, but we didn't expect to be scammed out of the room we paid for, criticized for being 1 night guests, and barged in on and questioned in the morning.

In addition to being dirty and run down.....

Do not stay here.  The front desk won't give you a receipt & you can't understand them.  Poor quality rooms. The front desk makes excuses but their attitude and rooms are unacceptable.  How can you not give me a receipt when I need it as I was staying there on business!

Terrible customer service

Dirty, rude staff, unprofessional.  Made copies of my debit card.  Put a deposit on my credit card and never refunded it.  I called a week later and asked why it wasn't refunded and he hung up on me, said he had customers.

Ridiculous

So me, my husband and 0ur 15month old daughter paid for a week here.  They wrote 6 days on the receipt, which I never thought to look at until the guy came up to my room POUNDING on our door at 10:30 telling me and my daughter to get our stuff and get out because "our week was up".   Even though it says our check out date is TOMORROW on the receipt.  There is buckets everywhere because this building leaks all over the ceiling. The staff is just flat out RUDE AND IGNORANT.  I wouldn't stay here again if my life depended on it.   Get your money's worth and stay somewhere else.
