Just completed my second stay. This time we brought family and booked two rooms. There is so much praise to give but I'll start with the staff. They are long term innkeepers at this wonderful B&B. They are the definition of friendly hospitality. Honestly, we had to hug them both. You won't find a better staff anywhere. The home itself is incredible. The five of us were visiting family in the area and we took full advantage of Jacqueline House's dining room to play board games, and the parlor for a glass of wine before dinner. We also enjoyed a gourmet breakfast each morning around the family table. If you stay anywhere else in and around New Wilmington, you are missing out. This is a place to call home.

A Place to Call Home

Well worth driving a little off "the beaten path" to get to one of our favorite B&B where hospitality is premium at a reasonable price.  They accommodate our need for a vegetarian breakfast.  Their EV charging station recharged our Tesla as we had wonderful sleep.  They have two charging stations, a Tesla and J-1772 for most other EVs. 

This has become one of our favorite places when traveling between Wyoming and the East coast via I-80.  

Some day we will return for a multi-day stay.

A little perfection in Pennsylvania 

This is a beautiful home, very clean and just wonderful! The owner and staff were delightful! 
The breakfast was great, and they provided wine and snacks in the evening, which was very nice.
We have stayed at many B&Bs, and this one’s at the top of the list as the best.

A beautiful place to stay and relax!  The quality of service was the best! We had a wonderful weekend!

Where to start !?!?!

I took my wife here for Saint Valentine's day, but made it a three day getaway. We had a great time and can't wait to come back!
This place is awesome. As for food, breakfast cooked right there, different each day, and I will say fancy, very well done...... no prepacked single muffin and banana here folks. The room we had was great, from the jacuzzi tub, king bed, and décor, all was very nice. We loved the classic old-time beautiful everything from wallpaper to pictures, true beauty, not the modern, blah, plain, flip a 100-year old rug upside down and call the worn out look of the backing the top,  modern, and progressive. I hate that empty worthless look and feel and have seen it so many other places, but again, not here. Outside, from the covered porch, great lighting all around, and peace of a country road, with the occasional cluck clunk of an Amish buggy riding by, it is such a great place to breathe. Can't say enough, These folks run this place first class, and my 5-star review is only one of many for a simple reason, this place is simply 5-stars! Thanks!

Old-time beautiful elegant décor, excellent food, and a very quiet location!

This is a beautiful country home in Amish country.  The staff and owner were very accommodating and gracious.  Breakfast was unique and delicious! I arranged for an on site massage with Amber. I was there while they were decorating for Christmas and felt so warm and cozy. Jacuzzi tub was so relaxing after and day of hiking at McConnell's Mill State Park. I Highly recommend!

Beautiful getaway for pampering myself!

We loved our stay at the Jacqueline House. Not only did they have a high chair and pack and play for our daughter, but they also provide a fancy breakfast, as well as wine and snacks in the evening. There is a TV room with Netflix for a movie night, as well as a cozy den for reading. Since it was cold, we didn't sit on the porch, but it is lovely. There is also a heated, saltwater pool, and a fire pit and patio. For electric car users, there is a Tesla and a generic charger! We just loved our stay and would stay there again.

Elegant B&B with lots of amenities!

We were looking for somewhere new to celebrate out anniversary and found this place on Select Registry.  We stayed for 2 nights in the Neshannock room.  The inn was clean and beautifully decorated without being pretentious.  Our room was just as lovely, quiet, and comfortable, with individual cooling control and access to a fridge.  The innkeeper and staff were all friendly without being overreaching.  Breakfast was filling and delicious, and there were lots of small touches throughout that enhanced our stay.  We enjoyed the pool, walks at the adjacent park, sightseeing in Volant and some Amish stores, and massages with Amber.  We highly recommend The Jacqueline House!

Great Find!

We were in the Volant Room and had no issues with the room. Hearing the clip clop of the Amish buggies, seeing the green grass, and plowed fields was very nostalgic. Becky was very accommodating allowing us to use freezer space before going back to SC. While we did not jump in, the pool was quite inviting. One evening we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and relaxing. The breakfast hosts Pattie and Kristin were super preparing us delicious breakfasts. The area has a lot to offer from antique shopping to state parks. When we are visiting family again, we will stay here.

Relaxing retreat

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay. Becky was the perfect hostess and Patti (who made the delicious scones) is a great cook. The Wilmington Room was  comfortable, spacious and clean and we enjoyed sitting in the parlor in the afternoon sipping tea and eating banana muffins. I can't wait to return in the warmer weather to sit on the outdoor porch and use the pool. Thank you Becky and Patti for making us feel so welcome.

Best scones ever

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful oasis on a road trip from Chicago to Boston. Becky could not possibly have been any more cordial and welcoming. The home is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud . In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of perfectly executed brioche French toast , eggs and sausage with a home made apple cranberry compote. Although we stayed only the one night , we will absolutely return the next time we make the trip to Chicago to visit family.
