And I have a reservation for Spring 2017 too! I feel genuinely at home at Michael's. Michael himself is available every morning if you wish to join him for coffee and/or conversation. And if you need him, he's a cell phone call away. I, for one, like being "left alone" in a lodging. There are 4 guest rooms, 2 bathrooms, a combined kitchen-living room. Very pleasant, restful. Fruit and cereal are always available, bread, yogurt, milk, orange juice, etc. This time I am including photos of the neighborhood. Anything you want is close by, a well-stocked grocery store, a laundromat, alcohol-wine store, big bus stop, subway. I rented a car my last night, and was able to find a street spot to park. Michael had said I would find one. This hotel doesn't fit an easy category. It is definitely unique, historic street, and historic Morris-Jumel mansion--worth a visit--is at the end of the street. Some of New York's famous brownstones are also in the neighborhood. You might want to check my review of this property from October 2015.
