The Inn is charming herritage house renovated and decorated to offer a traveler all amenities that a modern house would.
The owners are a lovely couple with two beautiful children that were able to joun in the morning making the stay very pleasant and almost like with a family of friends.

Being the way they are, thw family attracts nice peoole to stay so mornings are festive with guests of different vackground but all interedting nice people. All together a very pleasant stay. 

House is large and there is no noise polution room to room. One does not need to walk carefully not to wake up anybody as walls are thick and isolation is great.

Breakfst is fantastic, just like the owners snd their beautiful big house.

Hughly recommendable even for people like oursrlves never using B&B.

Memorable weekend

I was in need of a room for the week I was in town for the All Star Village boys baseball tournament and came across this amazing B&B.  Perfect location for Village and Cooperstown without being in the hustle of it all.
Cute rooms, quiet, outstanding owners, delicious breakfast, plenty parking.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Last Minute stay for Allstar Village Tournament

We stayed at this beautiful and quiet B&B for 3 nights and it was so relaxing. Awesome breakfasts each morning Matt. Thank you to you and your wife Cameron for your amazing hospitality. You have a beautiful family. We'll see you on September 20th for family weekend. We're looking forward to our next visit. The morning you made Eggs Benedict my wife and I loved them but unfortunately my son doesn't eat that and since he was only staying one night and moving into his dorm that day you made what he loves for breakfast, pancakes. He really appreciated it. That's customer service!! We were impressed. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy.

That a lovely young couple with two little kids can manage a full house so capably is amazing. 

Two-night stop on a road trip to Maine included a visit to Cooperstown. Brookside Inn's location was ideal - just a short drive through lovely country side. Pretty setting, truly brook side. Well maintained late 18th century house brought up to current comfort standards. Our room was large and had a private bathroom. Some rooms share a bath. Breakfast was fresh and hearty - eggs from the backyard chickens. Plenty of sweet and savory snacks available 24/7. In-room mini fridge is nice for road travelers. An extremely good value when compared to what was available in Cooperstown.

Very quiet and there were two under 3's living in the back of the house that we never heard. Matt and Cameron are doing a good job.

Good host, good location, good sleep

A quaint little inn, conveniently located near Cooperstown NY.
Matt and his wife work hard to keep guests happy, and he served the BEST breakfast I have ever had! Seven rooms on two floors, in a 200 year old house, next to a babbling brook!

A REAL find!

I booked the Brookside Inn on short notice and honestly didn't really look at it very well, but when I arrived I was more than pleasantly surprised. Matt one of the owners greeted me and showed me around inn and shared it's features and amenities with me in a very warm and inviting way. It's a beautiful place with with what I would call an eclectic stylish B&B of the modern era. Very thoughtful, charming and unique. I look forward to staying here again and look to enjoy more of its comforts.

Pleasant surprise!

Absolutely lovely! The town of Laurens is a hidden treasure. This B & B was beyond our expectations. It’s charming, beautifully decorated, friendly owners, delicious breakfasts and in an area of NYS you don’t want to miss visiting! Try it, you’ll like it!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2019

we had a good time here...the rooms were nice and clean and the breakfasts were good. They had coffee cups from all over and coffee was good and avaliable all day. We would stay there again.
The host was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed.

We were there for a baseball tournament in Cooperstown

Quiet, very relaxing stay. Very clean, and the rooms are decent sized. The hostess was accommodating and pleasant without hovering. It is in a very rural area, but good restaurants are only about 7 miles away. Watch chickens and roosters strut around. Very reasonable price. Charming place, I would probably return.

Lovely historic property by a babbling brook

Very nice B&B. Terrific hostess, and eclectic charm! The room was quite comfortable, and the the bed was great. The breakfast was delicious, and knowing that the eggs were extra fresh made it even better. (They have some 39 chickens!)
I would recommend this place to friends, and would be happy to stay again myself.
