Great place to stay. We come here every year we can, and it's always a great experience.  Owners are sweet and kind, and very helpful.  The beds are wonderful, the rooms are squeaky clean.  I highly recommend this place, nicely located close to town and the wineries.

Cozy stay

Wonderful place to stay when in the Winery area.  Owners are wonderful, very accommodating and make much effort to make sure yo have a pleasant stay.  Very clean, comfortable and great beds.  This is my favorite place to stay.  Prices are very reasonable, and the location is great.

Consistently good stays, year after year!

We booked last minute and found one of Seneca Lakes best kept lodging secrets.  Carol (the owner) and her husband own and operate the Golden Nights Motel and do a fine job of it.  The room we had was a charming throw back in design, was exceptionally clean and had all of the modern necessities (WI-Fi, flat screen w/Roku, refrig, venting etc etc.)  It was a perfect blend of nostalgia with modern comforts.  We LOVED the outdoor fire pits and grilling amenities.  We built fires both nights and enjoyed the sunset overlooking Seneca Lake.  Carol is the consummate host.  No detail is overlooked and her customer service is second to none  I have been coming to Seneca for almost 2 decades racing at the Glen.  We found our new favorite place to stay from here forward. Trip to Seneca Lake and WGI race track.

We had a spacious clean and comfortable room with two King beds at a reasonable cost. A minimal amount of road noise at night. Excellent location on the west side of Seneca lake in the midst of wine country. The owners were friendly and helpful.

The owners of Golden Knight Inn & Suites are incredibly personable and welcoming.  They offered great suggestions for dining in Watkins Glen.   Our room was very clean and comfortable.  I highly recommend staying here.  It's a great value.

Very personable owners and clean lodging

Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation. We stayed three nights over the Labor Day weekend, our first trip anywhere since the pandemic lockdown. From the time we spoke to Carol to book our room till the time we checked out, Carol and Stuart were nothing but gracious, accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. When booking, Carol assured us that they were taking all precautions to protect against the virus (and the room did look very clean).
We were there with two other families, and Carol made sure we got rooms right next door to each other. The facility had a designated little fire pit area that our group of three families enjoyed the first night. However, the second night, we were out of luck as another group of guests had gathered there. Carol immediately went about rigging up a fire pit right in front of our rooms on the grassy lawn. When we were low on firewood, Stuart jumped into his car, went all the way to the other side of the lake, and got us some more. You wouldn’t get this kind of service at a Hilton resort!
The fairly large room had everything that we needed. Wifi was excellent. The big box TV and VCR were actually nice, quaint little things to show our Gen Z kids. We had so much fun at the State parks we visited, there was no need for those amenities. Nice location, with a view of the lake. You can hear traffic from the road, but not when you are inside your room. We would definitely go back there!

We were very well-looked after!

An older property, but well-kept-up.  The owner/operators are friendly and provide great customer service.  We are repeat visitors, who enjoy the cleanliness, comfort and conveninent location (not to mention the free Wi-Fi).  We stay at the Golden Knight while visiting local wineries, fishing in the Finger Lakes, and hiking in nearby parks and wild areas, so we aren't looking fo--and don't want to pay for--a spa, gym, bar or similar amenities.  We're looking for a good night's sleep in a clean, well appointed (microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, television) room, and that's what we get here.

Clean, comfortable and relatively inexpensive wine country lodging

Not far from town. A bit of a view , but I could deal with that. I is a nice property,but the rooms are very dated,and crowed .We came as a couple and if the room only had the king size bed .,(which was comfy) Would have helped. There were chairs of all shapes and sizes.  No room to move. Also out of 5 lamps ,only two had shades. We were disappointed because it was listed for couples. I expected something more.Will not stay there next time.

The Henry family run a great smaller type motel.  Always spic and span and very quaint and nice furnishings 
They are changing over the old TVs (the only drawback) to new flat screen TVs is all is well

Mrs Henry fretted me warmly as always and had my usual room at the ready......room 202 always a real comfy bed.     

I always stay here for the great hospitality and view

Right in the middle of the Seneca wine trail and the cheese farm just north of the hotel. Always a great stop
