I was looking for a no-frills bargain while returning home on a cross-country drive. This place seemed to fit the bill, so I gave it a try.

The hotel is part of a convenience store/gas station. It only has 4 (yes, FOUR) rooms. They clearly were once storage for the building and have been converted. You check in at the convenience store counter. The Indian family that runs it were very nice.

For $71 (including all taxes), I got a room with very high ceilings, a hot shower that was clean, a very comfortable bed, and a little kitchenette with microwave, fridge/freezer and a hotplate. I also got free wifi. Dinner was a Subway sandwich, purchased at the convenience store. Towels were clean and reasonably soft. Hand soap and a couple of packets of shampoo were all the amenities in the room.

The carpets weren't the cleanest; they weren't gross, but they've seen better days. The furniture was basic and all made of press board. The reception on the TV was a bit fuzzy. The hair dryer in my room had the power button broken off. The room smelled of Nag Champa; some people may not like that, but I found it quite pleasant. There's no free coffee in the room. Did I mention a comfortable bed? I slept like a rock. There were at least two other rooms occupied, but I did not hear anything through the walls.

In the morning, I walked the 30 feet to the convenience store to return my key, get a cup of coffee, and fill up my car with gas, all in less than 5 minutes.

If you are used to staying at a Marriott, you will be disappointed. If you simply require a reasonably clean room with a hot shower and a comfortable bed, this place will more than suit your needs.

When the Coachway Motel and Vernon Downs were all booked, I had visions of having to stay miles away from Vernon where I wanted to go to the harness races.  Then I saw that this place opened and they were new.  I called and the motel had vacancies.  The room was big with high ceilings, comfortable beds, a flat screen t.v., and a desk.  The place is behind the Mobil gas station which seemed weird at first but the owner explained it was a new venture.  You check in at the gas station.  The guy couldn't do enough to make sure we has enough towels etc...He said " just come in here if you need anything."  The room was quiet and the shower was very good and as a tall guy, I liked that the shower head was mounted high.  I would definitely stay here again.  It's very close to the track, casino, and other points of interest.

Very Good Place To Stay

A perfect motel at a great price, I stayed for 2 weeks, it was a great experience of what a motel should be, the rooms are pretty big and perfectly furnished I found it to be very comfortable,very clean and just a nice place to stay even It is not far from the Turning Stone Casino and Resort (10 mins drive). Great stay at less price

I was on my way to my grandma's house, but on the way I got into a accident right in front of this place..the guy came out and helped me alot. I broke my phone in the crash...the guy helped me by giving me a room and free food to eat..the room was the best room I've ever seen and the service was amazing..I stayed there a day and a half waiting for a ride...The guy gave me a discount on the price due to the fact I had no car no phone.. the room was well maintained.. I don't think anyone else would ever do what this place did for me...THANK YOU!

LIFE SAVER!!

We needed a place to stay for 2 nights and our friends found this new little place. The price was certainly right for us. Typical size room and good value, but there were not pillow cases on any of the pillows and only one set of towels, even though our reservation was for 2. We got extra cases as we were cheking in (a very lenghty process because she was doing it all by hand) but the requested towels never came, nor did anyone come to put the cases on while we were gone. Small things, but... Also, there were tiny dead bugs in the corners of the rooms, including bathrooms, and food crumbs in corners near dresser and bed. As professional cleaners, maybe my husband & I just notice these things more, but it wasn't pleasant to look at. We would probably stay there again if we had to, only because of cost & location. Very good shower, like that there's a convenience store attached & free coffee in the morning.
