We stayed at the Swallow Tail Butterfly Room. I enjoyed the accommodations and liked the cozy feel of the room. Al and Lynn were very hospitable and welcoming. Al was great at providing recommendations on places to visit and things to do. They also had a walking/climbing/hiking guide which was really helpful. Every morning, us, the other guests, Al and Lynn sat in the dining room area and had great conversations with our breakfast. It was so enjoyable. Ever night, Al would wait for everyone to come back to the Inn before locking the door and once again we would come in last and had some great conversations with Al. The breakfast was yummy! They also ask if you have any dietary restrictions beforehand. We also used the jacuzzi tube which was great, especially since we had hiked the day before and we were sore. If you need anything, they are also very accommodating in providing guests. I forgot bug spray and they had some out for guests to use. We also loved the location because it's 15 minutes away drive from Lake George Village which allowed us to enjoy the quietness that upstate has to offer. We would return back!

Great stay

This was our second stay at Alynn's for Americade.  This time we stayed in the Monarch Butterfly Room, which is quite large.  As before, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  For Americade, having a garage to house the motorcycles overnight is a huge plus!  Their location is also great - close enough to Lake George to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet at night.  Al & Lynn are the consummate hosts - gracious, friendly and always looking for ways to help or make the stay even better.   And don't forget Chloe, such a sweet and friendly dog.   And lastly, don't miss out on Lynn's breakfasts - they are to die for!

Americade - Perfect!

We had a great time at Alynn's Butterfly Inn. My girlfriend and I went there for a quick getaway weekend and it was wonderful. The room was clean, the owners were welcoming and breakfast was delicious!

Great Inn - Great Owners

My wife and I stayed for two nights while skiing at Gore Mountain nearby.  Alynn's Butterfly Inn was a great choice and the prices (including two-day lift tickets) were excellent.  We especially loved the breakfasts cooked by Lynn, which were amazing, and much better than we could imagine.  And both Lynn and Al were so friendly, it was almost like visiting family.

Perfect choice

We were immediately disappointed with our accommodations.  The door connecting our room to the living room did not have a door knob.  The shower had an unfinished wall overlooking the stairwell.  By that I mean you could look onto the stairwell from the shower.  The walls were paper thin.  We could hear every word of the conversation in the adjacent room.  The ceiling was so low we could not stand up straight.  We were dissatisfied and left.  I was content to pay the first night as a hold.  But Al and Lynn refused to return my second night's payment because of their "stated policy."  They did not care that we were disappointed and did not even stay there one night.  So there is poor business ethics on top of shaky accommodations.  My advice: pay extra and stay in a hotel.

Al and Lynn are wonderful people and we love this B&B. We traveled here in August 2014 and 2015 and will continue the tradition for years to come. The house itself is old and charming set off the main road in Warrensburgh and the perfect distance from the craziness of Lake George Village. 

Lynn makes an outstanding breakfast in the morning and we have had so much fun talking to and learning from the other guests. Both Al and Lynn gave us excellent recommendations for hikes, river rafting and restaurants. 

We have been to many other B&Bs and none compare to the service that we receive at Alynn's. We will be back!
