Go to a bed & breakfast - send a few more $$ to get a real place to stay and enjoy Westfield. This is vacant most of the time and when a snow storm hits and forces people off of I 90 they double their rates.

Poorly maintenced and over priced

The family who run this motel try very hard to make you comfortable. The beds are fine, everything worked as it was supposed to, room was clean and carefully kept. The price is high at peak season, but much lower than other comparable places in the area.

Old-Fashioned but Good

Clean, comfortable room in nicely updated older motel.  A trip down memory lane, staying in a motel that was "the standard" in the 60's.  Owners have done a nice job updating and providing clean, comfortable rooms.

Nicely Updated Classic Motel

Perfect place to rest from our long trip. Just off the thruway but surprisingly quiet. We were traveling with our dog but for a $15 pet fee he was welcome, too. Staff is friendly and helpful; it is their home and they made us feel welcome. Our room was very clean, AC worked as it should and quickly cooled the room. Mini-fridge, tv, coffee pot all standard. Furnishings were matched and clean, and the room was colorful. A warm and lovely change from the drab chain motel/hotels. All this and the rate was excellent. We will be back!

Clean and Cheerful

Ripped carpet, a hole in the bathroom door, broken toilet seat and some non functioning lamps put this place in the bottom category. What saved it was the excellent mattress which provided a good night’s sleep. If it was $35 a night it would be a good deal.

Shabby

We were looking for a room somewhat last-minute on a recent road-trip.  We saw the Holiday Motel from the Interstate and decided to try it.  We have stayed in similar, non-chain types of motels before with varied results.  We were pleasantly surprised by how well-kept the rooms are!  Everything was basic but very clean and comfortable.  It was safe and quiet.  The attendant was very friendly, let us see the room before paying, and there was no fuss.  They were incredibly nice to my mom upon checking out.  Also, another unexpected surprise, we caught the sunset over Lake Erie the night we stayed, as the beach is only a 3-minute drive from the hotel.  It was spectacular.

A hidden gem

Took a last-minute trip to Westfield, and the place I normally stay was booked.  This motel is an older, family run place.  My room was clean and basic.  Nothing fancy for sure, but it was a good place for an overnight visit.  Room had a refrigerator but no microwave.  Motel is adjacent to the New York Thruway (about a mile north of downtown Westfield).  Folks running it were friendly and helpful.  Would stay here if I were in the area again.

Clean basic room for the night

Motel is probably 1960 vintage. Room was recently and must say nicely decorated and painted for that era and exceptionally clean. What was really cool was the bathroom.  Very vintage styling with turquoise floor tile, toilet and tub to match.  Not a chip in anything and the chrome fixtures in sink and tub looked brand new.  It all fit so well together.  I arrived in a snow storm Dec 11th in my diesel motor-home and asked if I could plug in the heater for the engine and the owner was so gracious, let me park and plug in near office. Exceptional value at $66.67.

Super clean room!

It was clean, smelled great, and we were well received! The owner was very nice and made sure we had a room with microwave and fridge.. The motel and furnishings are dated but well maintained and the bathroom was a wonderful rainbow tile throwback lol  I would stay again any day!
