I was disappointed in several things at this hotel. There was no parking because they put a concert tent in their parking lot. The concert ended at 10 so by 11pm we were finally able to legally park our car. There is no hotel staff on site. We were calling to resolve our parking issue and waited two hours (and two calls) before the service was able to get someone to call us back. The hotel is a few feet from a road so there is traffic noise. The room curtains were so thin that you had no privacy and no light control and could not sleep past dawn. The laminate floor was bubbling up. And finally, the shower was so small that you had to hold the shower curtain out with one hand to keep it from sticking to you. Overall, a very disappointing night for $200. Try another facility.

Very disappointing.

I would be tempted to rate this less than five because of the noise at the bar and restaurant which could be heard from our room. But then I remembered it was Friday night and that is probably normal. Other than that the room was very cozy, the bed was big and comfortable and they even had a fan in our room, presumably to drown out any noise from outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We stayed at the Nest last weekend. I was not expecting it to be on a busy road and have an outdoor entertainment venue. Parking was difficult and it was loud. We had a leaky sink, no fresh towels available, and we had two people walk into our room thinking it was the restroom for the restaurant. There is no one on site to talk with and assist you with questions. Very poorly managed. Would no recommend and will not return.

Great location, bad business

Wifi not working, broken windows.  The room was so close to the road that it shook every time a car went by, and when a truck passed it seemed like an earthquake.  It was so bad that we left.  The manger agreed to refund my card, but never did!  Now I have to dispute the charges.  Beware about staying here!!

I would never go to the Nest at Saratoga Lake or recommend it to anyone.

They do not respond to emails or phone calls.  They do not acknowledge a cancellation in reservations.  And then they charge you for your cancelled reservation, in our case to the tune of $500!  Very bad.

Very poor business practices!

This is a really buetifil inn but beware no one is here on staff sept mornings and wendsay Thursday Friday u get a key code to enter witch is easy and helpful rooms our wonderful lady’s I talked with oh phone were great and helpful in morning downside note many eatery’s r closed exept a few if staying early week bar is closed bring ur own food or go to somewhere else first or u will be hungry and no one is here at night and at night if staying by your self gets eerie feeling people in houses around area seem very odd watching the inn go to my car so I ran in nice but other then weirdness mabey they part of inn keeper or was just friends watching the inn whatever lol the rooms were great and just odd area but awsome inn the decor was fab 10  u get tea and coffee maker up stairs and granola bars and fridge for guest the beach theme room was the best beds super comfy love this place though wiill be back I’ll have to get used to area 10 stars and more for inn but 2 stars for Are llol and do not stay alone next time I’ll bring family or go on reg season

Good but not ideal when alone

Best place to stay in the area. Plan to return very soon. Thanks for the awesome view, wonderful staff and owners and some great times . Highly recommended!  Probably the most adorable decor imaginable.

Outstanding 

Lovely room in this cute little find.  Our room - 'Beachside Bungalow' was beautifully fitted out in a beach style, no air con, but there was a small fan which was fine for our stay.  A communal area on the second floor has coffee, tea and cereal bars available for all guests, with complimentary bottled water in our room.  There is a restaurant on the ground floor which does not take reservations and was busy when we first checked it out.  We went back later and were allocated a table. Nice atmosphere, service and food good.  Staff in the restaurant do not seem to have anything to do with the accommodation and therefore we're unable to answer general questions. The surrounding area is pretty and the nest is opposite the beach, however this is inaccessible at night as it is fenced off and a charge is made for its use during the day. Nothing is within walking distance, so a one night stay was just right for us. There are three parking spaces reserved for the property so not sure what would happen if they were all taken as we did not need to find out. Clear instructions provided in terms of how to access the property and allocated room with a number to call for any questions/concerns.  Overall a great overnight stay with one of the best fitted out rooms I have stayed in for a long time. 

Beautiful 'beachside bungalow' room

It is a cute and affordable place but our room was not the greatest. We were literally few steps from the restaurant and it was pretty loud. Also, the central air had no way of controlling so we were super cold at night. It would be alright, if we weren't with an infant.. Next time I would definitely avoid rooms on the ground floor, especially ours, No 2 "High Peaks".

Cute inn but room not ideal

Stayed here during a quieter time of year.  Rooms are above restaurant/bar.  Because off season, was nice and quiet.  View of lake.  Close to many attractions in the Saratoga area.  Clean.  Smallish rooms (bed only, no other sitting area) but we were exploring so suited us nicely.  Great long weekend stay.  Would definitely stay here again.
