Clean room, good bed, plumbing worked as expected, I hope to stay here again. WIFI was a plus, thank you . Good Channels on the TV too !  Most RV and camper traffic may need to park at the truck stop on the shared property line. Easy parking for single vehicles.  Some food at truck stop including Taco Johns and a hot grill in the truck stop store.  Thanks for a positive experience folks !

OK to STAY !

After speaking with others who travel to Newcastle for business, I am so happy I stayed at the Fountain Inn! No other hotel in town provides the combination of peaceful surroundings and real interaction with local people who truly enjoy meeting you. The hotel staff are extremely nice and welcoming in a real sense. They know your name and truly care that you are having a great time while you are their guest. The hotel bar is also one of the most welcoming places in town with real atmosphere and fun locals you'll be really happy to spend time with. Sitting outside my room in the evening and watching small groups of deer come to drink in the fountain was a highlight as well as being greeted each morning by the owner's beautiful brown Lab while I sipped my coffee. I look forward to my next visit and the real welcome of the amazingly hospitable owner and his family.

The best hotel for people who enjoy local vibe

Very CLEAN rooms and such a friendly staff. Restaurant was great and even had a few drinks in the bar. The front desk lady was very friendly and knew the area for us. Our room nice and cozy for us. Clean and we had available parking in front of our room, We highly recommend The Fountain Inn.

FRIENDLY

Wonderful staff, friendly and hospitable, great bar/restaurant. Quiet and comfortable! And they were so accommodating for our dog, Girl. Comfortable room!! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this place!

Awesome Hidden Gem

From check in to check out DARSHAN the night manager handled everything. It felt like I was at home. There was a mistake with my reservation but Darshan handled everything like a true profeasional.  Justine in the bar was also amazing, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!

In town for business amazed by the hospitality

The room was large and very clean. No restaurant or breakfast available. They did have coffeepots and hair dryers in the rooms.  The pool wasn't open but we were too tired to care.  The shower was tricky, as the bathtub was slick and there was no mat. The office staff was very nice.  We arrived during the time that the motorcycle rally was going on and hotels everywhere were booked up and expensive. I was pleased to get the room and we slept well.

Spartan

I have stayed here a few times over the past couple of months while working in Newcastle. The restaurant is closed for the winter so you will have to go into town for a meal. The rooms are dated and in need of some remodeling. The tv is the newest thing in the room. The bedding looks like it is from the 80s. The bed is comfy and the room was clean. It was a place to crash for the night. Overall I would say that it is over priced for the quality you receive.

Motel

Checked in about 12:30am all 5 adults and one of 2 kids came in to check in rented 2 rooms. In morning as we were packing up had front desk person come out and tell us we had to pay $45 more because of extra adults in room.

This place is a total dive...Please never stay here.  We pulled up and had concerns about the lack of maintenance.
I went inside and there was an old maintenance person behind the front desk who was very drunk or was intoxicated by something.  The so called owner or manager came and took the guy out side and yelled at him for several minutes. My concern went up, when this was going on I was looking at the care of the front desk,  very below standard, more concern. When the guy came back in I ask him if I could see the room, that my son had allergies.I went and looked at the unclean room with mold and mildew.
At this point I wasn't staying here, The guy became rude and indignant. This is the first complaint I have ever written in my life.  I will write complaints on this hotel on every site I can find... This place is the bottom of the barrel, none of the pictures are current, definitely be aware for the safety of your family.
Wyoming beautiful with wonderful people, this place is not.

Disgustingly Horrible 

We booked this motel for 3 nights, we reviewed the amenities as listed on their web site. Upon arrival and check in, we were greeted by a young girl who was fairly pleasant. Price was great... She then told us that the pool was closed, this was very disappointing as the temperature was in the high 90's. When asked if it was going to open in the next day or so, she replied" oh no, the pool has been closed since the start  of Covid" 2 YEARS. Then she proceeded to let us know that the restaurant was not in operation as well. We mentioned to them that MAYBE they should update their amenities on their web site.  Then on day 2 when we arrived back from a day trip, we noticed that the rooms were not cleaned.  When asked about it, we were told " we only clean the rooms for week or longer stays" This was not the end of the world as we just had to ask for more towels, coffee. The worst part of this hotel, is the manager stays in room 10 right next to the office with his dog, named Bear. Very nice gentleman and great dog, BUT, you would think that having your dog leashed up where your guests walk, he would have the sense to pick up the dog TERDS that were everywhere. The maintenance around the property was not very clean, broken glass in the parking lot, not good for motorcycle tires, parking stall lines were non existent. It really did appear that this motel  was being run by the bank and will be shut down. I would not recommend this place. There are better choices out there.
