Spark is the low end Hilton.  They are existing hotels that Hilton has taken over and renovated.  I dont l know how old this unit was but it looked very new and clean.   I was pleasantly surprised.   Desk staff was friendly.   The room was modern with 2 Q beds and there was a bath/shower fixture.   The desk had a slide out section that would turn the desk into an L shape and the lighting was adequate.
Mattress and pillows are on the soft side.  
Breakfast was solely a bagel 'bar'   -    cream cheese and jellies for toppings and decent orange juice and of course coffee.  
Spouse said there was a pool but I did not see it!  We were only here for one day so I really did not explore much.   
This hotel is out in the country but actually has several fast food restaurants next door or across the street.   Taco bell,  Mcdonalds and Wendy's  I remember.
There are several parking spots out front reserved for Diamond members.   I wonder how many Diamond members stay at Spark?  hahaha
Just remember this is a pared down Hilton,  nothing fancy here but very clean and nice.   Don't look for the bellman.

Happily Surprised with this New Addition to the Hilton Family

Property is clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Very easy on and off I77.   "Breakfast" however is NOT included. What is included is a very limited Bagel Bar with frozen bagels, select toppings and juice.  During my stay, some of the bagels were stale and whoever made the coffee mis-measured because it was undrinkable. Description should say "Continental style breakfast included."  Also, you'll need to stop by the ice machine on each floor (near the elevators) to get a paper cup for the bathroom.  None were in the room so if you need to take meds, brush teeth, etc. you'll need to pick up a cup or 2.  All in all it's a very good place to spend a night on the road. Just be aware of the breakfast limitations.

Very good except "breakfast"

This Garland Inn, is a true joke. Had a reservation, they lost it. 17 cars in the parking lot of a three story hotel, no rooms available. Well they had 3 dirty rooms. Was suggested we could change the sheets if we wanted too! No way. If I could give them a zero, I would, otherwise do not waste your money!

Poor management

Garland Inn was super clean as well as our room.  All necessities were provided for our stay. The breakfast service was very well provided.  The attendant was present and very polite and concerned about our satisfaction with the items available.  Very pleasant visit.

Garland Inn Newcomerstown

We arrived in the pitch black to a sign that wasn't lit, and said GARLAND HOTEL. We'd booked at a Hampton Inn, but apparently they lost their association with the Hampton brand - and rightfully so. These folks could never live up to such a standard. But shouldn't someone have contacted me???

Our room was dingy with a rusted drain in the bathroom that was so clogged, I got nauseated by brushing my teeth. They used green neon paper to staple the room numbers on the walls, and the carpet and furniture was gross. 

Went down for breakfast at 9:30 on a Saturday and was told they'd thrown it out because breakfast ends at 9 a.m. sharp. We got a to-go bag, which was pretty bad, especially for those of us who are gluten-free. Happy to say the bed was clean and comfortable, which was the only reason I gave them two stars. Would never, ever come back here.

NOT a Hampton anymore!

Just recently changed flags, we stayed at when was the Hampton and enjoyed it and equally we enjoyed our visit this time. Really want to think Porsche and Tiffany for their hospitality. Appreciate the fact that you are dog friendly. Hope to see you in the future.

My wife and I decided to stay here for our trip to the Amish Country. I called in and spoke to Natalie. I asked what the rate of the room was. She quoted me $20 more than the price on the Hilton app. I told her that I saw a cheaper rate online and she didn’t do anything to honor it. I decided to book it online. Our rate was more reasonable that way. I ASKED HER 4 DIFFERENT TIMES IF THERE WAS A HOLD FOR INCIDENTALS AND SHE SAID THERE WASN’T. THAT WAS NOT TRUE. THERE WAS A $50 HOLD AND IT MADE ME GO OVER MY CREDIT LINE. I WAS FURIOUS BECAUSE I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES AND I WAS MISLED. I do have to say this, Natalie was a pretty nice person despite her not telling us about the $50 hold which screwed up the works. When we checked out, we told an older lady with glasses about the issues we encountered. She didn’t care one bit. She also told me she called Natalie to discuss the incidental hold. I’m not buying it. I wouldn’t call a coworker for something like that at 7 in the morning considering she just worked last night. She probably wanted to sleep in. Another lie from the staff. I told the older lady that I was going to call corporate to discuss this matter and she still did nothing to make it right and then she said “That won’t work. They won’t care.” Honestly, I did like the property itself. But I don’t plan on staying here again unless my concerns are taken care of quickly and appropriately. Next time you visit, make sure to have an extra $50 available so they can hold it for absolutely no reason. 

Nice room, but...... we got the run around 

We stayed for a single night in mid-August during the COVID era.  This hotel is located far off the main thoroughfare (I-70), but easily accessible if using the lesser travelled highways.  
Overall, the hotel was just average.  Upon entering, there was a bold sign posted regarded COVID and mandatory wear of masks.  That being said, I saw no patrons wearing a mask in the hallways or lobby (that being said, the staff at the front desk had masks on and were standing behind plexiglass).  The pool is closed (standard in the COVID era)
There was no breakfast options (take away or bagged) offered or visible upon departure.  The room was cleaned and appeared normal (unlike other stays we've had where common items were wrapped in plastic, etc).  
The immediate area around the hotel is rural; a McDonald's, Taco Bell, and fuel station and local convenience store are within walking distance.  

Average hotel with COVID minimums, unremarkable visit

Not as clean as I hoped it would be. Fairly priced and amenities were a plus. Good location, less than 30 minutes from Coshocston. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.  Somewhat noisy at night, next time will get a room away from the elevator or pool.

Good for the price

hotel had a great breakfast, internet and ii was good to have refrigerator and microwave in room. service was good and our 2nd room was very clean.  will definitely return to this hotel when visiting family.
