Beautiful, peaceful garden oasis that was a clean, comfortable, easy stay. Beki and the rest of the staff team are genuinely friendly and welcoming. There was a wedding hosted one of the evenings we visited and Beki gave us the head’s up. Staying in the Carriage house, it was a bit loud until the party ended at 9:00 pm but otherwise not disruptive at all. The grounds keeping folks the morning ahead of the wedding were very considerate of us breakfasting outside and sharing the space with us. Breakfast was a full continental with option for a warm omelette or frittata depending on who was helping with breakfast that day. Hot beverages, fruit, and popcorn were available for snacks throughout the day, which was really nice for our later evening check-in. The Carriage House is an oversized room with plenty of space to relax and we were grateful for the A/C unit this late summer visit. Overall a really pleasant stay in an unsuspecting location. The commute was easy enough to wine country and beaches by car to make for a perfect weekend getaway.

Beautiful, easy stay close to the Central Coast highlights

We spent 2 nights at the Kaleidescape Inn. It was very nice. It's nearly 150 years old and well maintained. We were in the Lovers Nest room. The bathroom is down the hall but is private. Our room was spacious and I appreciated the firm mattress. The room was on the 2nd floor and at the front of the house. The residential street has a fair amount of traffic but it was quiet during the night. The grounds are nice.

Nice Victorian B&B in Nipomo. 

Beki was unbelievably kind in showing us around the property. We had to travel into town suddenly and we were so grateful to have a place that felt comfortable and personal. We will recommend high and low.

Unparalleled Hospitality

This is a gem hidden in Nipomo! 
Beautiful gardens, great accommodations and a very clean facility. Working nearby, this B & B helped us get dinner at Jocko’s , set up a beautiful table in the dining room and made the safe great! 

Working get away 

My niece got married at the Kaleidoscope Inn. The picturesque setting and mild climate make this a perfect place for a smaller wedding. The ceremony was in the gazebo and we sat on chairs in the lawn. The reception was set up in a large tent. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the whole experience was like a dream. Watching my brother dance with his daughter in the gazebo is an experience I will not forget!

A wedding to remember!

This place was awsome.  It's an old 2 story house in old town Nipomo. Each room is a little different and so roomy and quaint! A couple of rooms are outside in the beautiful garden areas and others are upstairs. Some have bathrooms in the room while some have them close by..their own private one. The beds are so compfy! You can enjoy the living room and dining area for breakfast which were delicious.  She made us egg and veggie bites and has an array of bread speads yogurts  fruits coffee and tea...  was so wonderful.   Beki is such a elite! I stayed there 3 times so far! Will come again.

A fun trip with a friend at a cool Inn!

We stayed at the Inn for several days recently and had a warm welcome and excellent accommodation.  The garden was perfect for relaxing in and had several separate areas for either catching the CA sun or reading in the shade. Beki was an excellent hostess and we enjoyed meeting the other guests over breakfast.  Would be my no. 1 choice for the Nipomo area any time.

Charming and comfortable with excellent garden

Property's of this genre become more scarce by the day. It is a privilege to experience a presence among the history of another time. Jacki and I enjoyed our stay. The living, sitting and dining room transport you pleasantly back. Our room was comfortable, we'll appointed. 

The owner was front and center as his daughter, the innkeeper was traveling. Kevin was Uber attentive. Left no doubt he was all about our comfort and needs. If you have an appreciation for history and the effort of the owners you'll have a wonderful experience. If your demanding of Four Seasons 101 hospitality and facilities this is not the best place for you. A night here is magical and very much it's own reward. Thank you, Kevin!

p.s. You MUST have a drink at the bar at Jocko's and if you can, have dinner. It is "bucket list" worthy. Reservations are a must to avoid the usual hour+ wait.

A Charming Return to Yesteryear

This was our first visit to Nipomo for a relative's wedding, and we can see why they picked the Kaleidoscope Inn. The place was magical, and set up perfectly for the wedding and reception. There is a large open outdoor area and a great reception area and a large outdoor patio area for the bartender and yet another separate space for the food. All in all, the place made it easy to have lots of different conversations going on but still felt tied together nicely. The kids ran around and played and were safely inside the walls so we didn't have to worry they were playing in the street, and yet they were plenty far enough away that we weren't being interrupted as we talked to people we hadn't seen in years! We didn't stay at the Inn, but as a wedding venue, it was great.

Attended a wedding, beautiful place

I hate to make negative reviews.  Beki is very nice.  The towels are nice.  Our private bath was private but down the hall.  Next time I'll ask if private means "in room".  The room was dusty and had cobwebs.  In 3 days our bed was not made and our towels were not changed -no one had been in the bathroom to see if we needed new ones or to replace the bathmat on the floor.  The wi-fi was intermittent and slow. Most of the time it did not work at all. The neighborhood is in the old part of town, so a polite way of saying it is rundown.  Breakfast was okay, cooked to order.  We have friends in town and next time we will stay in Santa Maria.
