This place has been a life saver for me and my family. (In a world where finding a place to house your family, as a single mom, should NOT be this hard.) The staff here are so friendly, and you can really tell they are trying to give decent people, a decent chance in all of this craziness. I appreciate everything about this place. Bless us all!

People expect too much! Extended stays are not generally for vacation!

Just over all the worst hotel. To much to even start my advice is go to any other hotel besides this one. Even some of the little crack hotels with all the prostitute's out front is better than this place

Hotels from hell

I stayed at this location for a while ,because of work. I carried my gun Everyday .It's not the place,it's some of the people living with you. For example: junkie, crackheads, drug dealers,meth heads.Stay at your own risk.men are selling drug on site broad day light ! They hide on the left side of the building by the brown chevy truck (4x4)... I sat after work and watch the sells happening.At night even worst, parents letting kids run around the room making noise or screaming at them very loud.this is after 11:00pm.(school the next day)  The staff is trying to control it, but getting out of hand, IT's time for some one to step in from Corp.Cheap stay doesnt mean this. I been to extented stays before and had a good time. this location is different...This is Happening as of 07/11/2019...

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION NORFOLK !(WELFARE HOTEL)

Why stay at a motel in the ghetto when you can stay at a ghetto in a motel?  The front desk doesn't answer the phone and if you want fresh linens- they don't have any. Without one piece of art on the walls and scratched up furniture, it looks like a low-rate flop house.  It's loud, the outside doors aren't secured, the inside doors click at night like someone is tapping on the doorknob with a coin, and the toilet looks like it belongs in a preschool.  

The 3 hour wait for linens (while they washed them) really killed it.  If someone wanted to stay in a college dorm without any of the benefits, this is it.

They get one extra star for price, but if this place is going to be perpetually under construction, it should cost half as much.

The inner city motel of suites

Everyone keeps saying this is a hotel. In reality it is an EXTENDED stay living. Extended stays do not operate like the fancy hotels. You do not get all the bells & whistles. It does need some re-molding, but it's clean and quiet. The staff will help you with just about anything if it is in their control. Sometimes staff has to leave the desk to get things done, but they always have the phone so if you need anything they come asap. There is 24/7 security, who does many many rounds inside and in the parking lot. Also people keep saying that the rooms aren't ready by three. Imagine you having to clean rooms that people have been living in for a long period of time. It does take time. Even the two young ladies at the front desk get out from behind the counter to help clean rooms. Don't believe everything you read. It's clean, quiet, and very convenient. If you are extremely snobby and expect to walk in to the Marriott then this is not that place for you... But if you're looking for quiet, cozy, and affordable this is pretty good.
