My wife and I had such a great time at Outland with our friends. We stayed in the first floor room of the Chalet and we both had the best nights of sleep! I relished it! The setting is beautiful and quiet so that definitely played a part, but I also wanted to buy that bed when we left!

Sooo relaxing!

We loved our experience!  Stayed in a spa suite and it was perfect with the tub and fireplace for a weekend getaway for two!  Shane called the day we were scheduled to arrive to assure us everything was ready and to give us an update that we should expect beautiful weather. We loved hiking one of the trails on property and appreciated how close we were to Sylva, Cherokee, and Bryson City.

Great couples weekend experience!

The staff was exceptional.   They were very helpful.  They reached out several times before arrival.  The chalet was perfect for our family.  We enjoyed some of the trails on the property with beautiful views.  

Chalet perfect for family

We loved spending time at the Chalet Inn and Suites years ago and now LOVE that Outland has stepped in (and up) to put a new spin on this beloved 22-acre property. The Outland staff excels in communications, making sure every need is met for a relaxing mountain vacation. As remote as this property feels, great restaurants are only 10-15 minutes drive from here. Suite 201 has a mini-fridge, Keurig, microwave, and little table for two. We had no need to go out for breakfast and enjoyed peaceful, lazy mornings in the suite. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the mountains, the hiking trails (nice variety), and the use of the Club Room in the main lodge. Mattresses and pillows are very subjective, but we found both to be comfortable. The gas fireplace was used first thing in the morning and also in the evening when we returned from dinner (since we ended up there during the cold front) - so cozy! Couples will love the suites. Friends and large families will love the lodge. 

If you like nature and getting away ....

OUTSTANDING LOCATION AND BOTH THE CHALET AND ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS WERE EXCELLENT. CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.
FIREPLACE AND LARGE TUB WERE AWESOME.  THE OFF SITE STAFF WERE RESPONSIVE AT ALL TIMES, SO NO NEED TO WORRY THEY ARE NOT ON PREMISE, THEY ARE VERY HAPPY TO MEET ANY NEEDS. GREAT LOCATION IN THE MOUNTAINS. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATIONS

We had a wonderful time at Outlands Chalet. The property is beautiful - magical trails, great picnic area and games field, nice fire pit, and brand new grill. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family. We loved the club room for our activities and the TV/family room for movies and games. Great vacation spot!!

Lovely place!

The Outland Chalet & Suites provides an exquisite get-away experience.  The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful.  The accommodations are luxurious and the entire property is well maintained.  Registration and check-in were very easy, and communications via email and personal calls relieved all of the stress of travel.  The region provides so many great restaurants, shops and of course, all of the wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  We highly recommend the Outland and we will definitely stay again when in the area.

Exquisite Get-Away

We had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful property.  Booked the Suites for our anniversary.  We wanted an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.  The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.  Property/landscaping is well-groomed and has hiking trails to explore.  Room has a jacuzzi tub.  Very clean.  Bed was extremely comfortable.  We explored local shops and dining in the nearby town of Sylva (10 mins).  Harrah's Casino is closeby if you want to switch things up.  So many things to do.  Definitely coming back.

Peaceful mountain getaway for our Anniversary!

Had a fabulous weekend at this gorgeous inn! We strayed in a suite and enjoyed the amazing Mountain View.  The new owners were very welcoming and suggested a great pizza place for lunch in the cute  town of Sylvia.  We spent one night enjoying wine and nature by the fire pit and the.next night at the nearby Cherokee casino. The grounds had a beautiful waterfall and several hiking trails. It was the perfect place to relax but still be close to shopping, dining, etc. Highly recommend the Chalet Inn and Suites and can’t wait to come back!

Best Fall Girls Weekend!

I spent last weekend at The Chalet Inn with several girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. The suites were perfect for us to enjoy our getaway!!! The rooms are clean and so well appointed. I give major props on the beds, normally I don’t sleep well away from home, BUT I slept like a baby. The grounds are so pretty, we hiked around the property and ended one day at the fire pit drinking wine and enjoying nature (fall is a gorgeous time in NC). We enjoyed an afternoon in the quaint town of Sylva as well as a quick visit to the casino. My friends and I are already planning a trip for the spring!
