We stayed here for 6 days just before the COVID outbreak. What a quite, cute, centrally located motel. This motel was constructed in 1958 with many updates. Our room was equipped with a small kitchenette and a grill. It was great! Really felt homey!! Staff was helpful and kind. Would stay here again if in the area.

Love our vintage find

They don't make places like this anymore. A treasure. New owners with updated large rooms that are all on the ground floor (no climbing massive stairs) that all open up to a patio with outdoor table and chairs and a massive huge nice pool.  Quiet and peaceful, like being with family. Excellent service.  Gave us a big room with big kitchen, nice big frig and lovely furniture.  Expensive tile on the walls and bathroom that is decorated in a unique style, you don't see tile like this anymore.  The bed was big and comfortable and plenty of towels. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the shower needs a thorough bleach cleaning and the thick old caulking needs to be bleached scrubbed to get rid of the black mold.  The shower door hasn't been scrubbed in a long time. I would definetly go  back as we loved the total experience, spray bleach bottle in hand.

A Very Pleasant Experience

Stayed at this nice motel about a week. The whole place needs some tlc, it is a little worn, but in the whole very charming! Love the outdoor area, with the garden and all the birds. The Woodstork was a faithful "pet" and came by for treats every day. The staff is very friendly, and the room was kept tidy. Breakfast is very simple, but always hot coffee early in the morning...Hope to visit this retro motel again😊Sonja from Norway

Nice motel

$20/pp/day!  Nice grounds, some shade, clean, chairs provided. However, NO other services offered except what the gift shop offers to sell you.  Modular-style porta bathroom on grounds.  Spa services  seen on website are NOT offered.  Be certain to check the 'FAQ' section.  Water is nice, with mineral smell. At first, feels lower temp than purported 85degs, tho.  I was told construction of new facilities will begin in phases soon, so be certain to check before you go for noise level, convenience, etc. 

Only springs - nothing else offered

Well quite interesting how my perceptions changed over the 3 days I stayed. This "quaint" little place is actually the remnant of an architectural masterpiece for its time by Victor Lundy, whom I have heard still lives in Sarasota. As I searched through photos and other information on the internet I found this place to actually be a world class tourist destination, if you would like to join the actual Warm Springs just down the road for swimming it will set you back nada as a resident, BUT $1100 per year if you would like to just hang around and swim. SO along the road from the motel to the spring is an abandoned outbuilding with an outlandish GIANT triangle vestibule similar to the motel's design. The classically designed building tragically stands empty and lonely, however in some way also embodies Lundy's vision - my challenge is for some architectural specialist or group to repurpose it as it lies directly midway between the Motel and Waters. Interestingly at the motel in any case are folks from all over, and outside at the large warm, deep pool at 2:30 am it's quiet but active. Private room with a big heavy-duty AC unit was relatively clean after visiting the nearby Walmart, and the help is excellent, kind and friendly, fresh fruit and Danish galore for breakfast - especially Homanchu my young Indian lecturer who reset the router for me and I reassured teaching in America was possible with a bit of strategy, many thanks please persevere. Go here if you are up to the adventure along Highway 41, room 10 bathroom is the cleanest and walking around the outside you can decidedly reminisce if a fan of architecture. This IS a ghost story, there just hasn't been a ghost yet...

Victor Lundy Thank You

Don’t go here! The website is a bunch of lies. There is no breakfast provided. The Jacuzzi was closed by the State of Florida! It is filthy and stinks. The smell is so bad we left the pool.  The pool area is covered with bird droppings and no one sweeps the pool at all. The room was basically clean but the bathroom corners were filthy and the shower barely fits one person. They provide no housekeeping at all. Went I went to the office to complain, they brushed me off. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else! 

Don’t go to the Warm Mineral Springs Hotel

I love retro simple motels when i travel. This hotel has been let go. It was dirty, had an odor, and just all-around unacceptable. I considered asking for a refund and finding somewhere else but I decided to try to stay and make the best of it. It was dirty. The location is not great.

Disappointed

Visiting North Port for Braves spring training.  Motel is very close to the venue.  Grounds are kept up very well.  Rooms are old and need to be updated.  Beds are more like sleeping in a hammock.  Virtually no housekeeping.  Fresh towels delivered to the room daily but NO cleaning done.  Trash just piled up in the corner.  Plenty of soap though.... but only because the used soap was still in the shower from previous guests.  So I'm guessing the shower was probably not cleaned.  Continental breakfast was a box of Dunkin Donuts... and was best to just pick up the one that didn't have any fingerprints on it.  The gentleman at the front desk (I'm guessing was the owner) must really love the "F" bomb since I heard him use it 20 times in the 2 minutes I was in the lobby.  For the price paid, this was a very disappointing visit.  I would NOT recommend staying here unless you keep the bar raised very low.

The place is a dump! Filthy, disgusting, dirty sink , dirty toilet seat, old as hell, stinky, creepy! $100 a night when it should be about $39 ! It’s a 1/2 star motel. We are moving and every place else was full. It used to be a decent place so we took a chance. We had taken our bed apart so we had nowhere to sleep. Saw the room, left until about 9:00 pm, slept a couple hours and came home at 3:00am because it was so awful. I wouldn’t even shower there! Don’t go. It’s truly disgusting!

Filthy, old, disgusting place! Way overpriced.

We booked a stay at what appeared to be an "Old Florida" style motel.  Very excited about it.  Until we checked in to our room.  It seemed strange that they had scented candles in each bathroom.  When we went to use the pool, it had a sign on stating it was closed by the County.  We spoke with the manager who told us to go swim in it anyways.

We then looked on line, and found that the sewer system has collapsed at this place almost 2 years ago and the owner, had yet to repair it.  There is raw sewage coming up on the property by the pool!  and the owner says its okay to swim in the pool.   

We checked out and asked for a refund, and we were told no.  There are no refunds.
