This place is in a great spot that’s walkable to all important parts of Oak Bluffs. 
They do a great job of keeping the facility clean. And the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!
The only downsides were that the bathroom is pretty small with very little space to put anything (like toiletries), and because it’s so close to downtown, you can hear the thumping music of the nearby club(s) faintly if your room is otherwise silent. 
I’d definitely stay there again!

Great spot - very clean!

Great location right on the harbor, near the restaurants and downtown. The rooms were nicer than we expected. The staff were all fantastic and extremely welcoming and helpful. Hope to come again next summer. It exceeded our expectations.

Great location and nice rooms

From the time we arrived we received superior service. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.  The entire time we were there they continually checked to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Stayed at Surfside with friends…….all of the accommodations were excellent from the greeting when we arrived to the cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of all the staff to the availability of towels, beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach to the constant email updates before our arrival and during our stay to the ease of storing bags with he front desk to just a really exceptional customer service experience overall!! And a really great location as well! 

Can’t wait to go back!

2 night visit to Martha’s  Vineyard

Enjoyed this property for the ease of access, the location to ferry docks.
Overall a pleasant place to stay.  

We had a second floor room, with stairs nearby.  We took time to sit in one of two inviting groups of chairs in the lovely floral gardens.  We were able to walk to nearby enjoyable local restaurant. 
We would recommend it and would stay here again.

Excellent location, helpful staff, beautiful gardens

Highly recommend for a quick getaway! So conveniently located to the oak bluffs ferry, the beach, shopping. We got the full ocean view room, but all the rooms looked nice and very well kept. Staff was so warm and hospitable

Perfect location, lovely room, clean, attentive staff!

This place was the perfect getaway!!!!! The staff was amazing and the beach chairs and towel service was exceptional!!!!! Such a central location with a lovely outdoor space to hang out! Will definitely make this place a regular summer spot!!!

Getaway!

We scheduled a long weekend getaway with family at the start of summer. We could not have been more pleased with our accommodations at the Surf-Side in Oak Bluffs. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The grounds were lovely with beautiful gardens and a lovely patio. The location was ideal, a short walk from the ferry and close to restaurants, shops, a beautiful park, and right across from the ocean. Our family plans to make this trip an annual tradition, and we will book our stay at the Surf-Side for sure!

A long weekend getaway with family

We booked a weekend stay at the Surfside so I could be rested for the MV Marathon.  The service was very Friendly and the location was perfect.  Steps from the oak bluff ferry and circuit street.  Safe parking and really good food advice from the staff.  Kids had a great time and we all slept well.

We were on Martha’s Vineyard for a wedding..
We rented two rooms with private bathrooms.  The rooms were very clean.  The staff was very positive and helpful.  Off street parking behind the hotel was great as well as the complimentary coffee and tea.  The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Oak Bluffs ferry terminal and many good restaurants, shops and bike shops, etc.
