We come to OC MD twice a year. Springfest and Sunfest in the Fall.  
By far this was the most disgusting, appalling, deteriorating, place we have ever rented in 2 decades. Let me count the ways:
1.  Broken box spring that was actually resting on the floor. How could someone possibly change the bed etc. and not noticed that one corner was on the floor. 
2.  Same room closet bifold door was off the track. 
3.  Closet floor strewn with random bedding and dirty pillows. 
4. Closet shelf hanging by a thread. 
5. Front sitting room area rug was severely frayed on both ends. Possibly by getting caught in the sweeper. Sweeper sitting out in full view. 
6. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom. 
7. Bathroom tub fixtures rusted and not secured to the wall. 
8. All vents were so dirty that if you had allergies you would not have been able to tolerate the air. 
9. Electrical outlets in master bedroom were loose in the wall. 
10.  Master bath sink surround was cracking away from the wall. 
11. Master closet doesn’t even deserve a pair of shoes.  No ability to hang clothes. Filthy!
12. Windows need washing inside and out. 
13. Unknown bug in master bathroom. 
In closing there seems to be little to no communication between cleaning staff, maintenance and management.

Hotel is nice in general but do not, DO NOT, stay in room #119. Filthy, disgusting, glass on the floors, bugs in the rooms. The doors don’t lock properly. The balcony door didn’t lock at all. Couldn’t pay me to ever stay in this room again or any other room that is owned by the same man. I don’t know why the Sea Watch would even want to associate themselves as a business to any room that is owned by the man that owns #119.

I have been coming to the Sea Watch since I was 15, 45 years. I have stayed in numerous rooms over the years.  I can't remember ever having a problem with the facility. Staff is always very helpful and courteous. Can't wait to arrive in September for another memorable family vacation. Reading some of these poor comments about the facility is really untrue. Sea Watch is 1 of best in OC to stay.

Stay at the Seawatch

Im beyond disappointment with the unit 410  I overlooked the out dated  amenities and lack of cleanliness and  my family got  locked out the unit due to a faulty key pad. I understand things happen but from the response from maintenance it seems to be that this isn’t the first time they been called out to unlock the unit. The rooms were small the carpet, furniture and whole kitchen was old even the dollar store utensils were old. It was like staying in a motel the only good thing is that it’s in Seawatch which is great.

Seawatch Unit 410

I stayed in unit 506 9/30 till  10/3/2021. The place was dirty almost filthy. The fan in my room had not been dusted in years and it was covered in dust and hair. The fan was  installed improperly with wires exposed- not to code!
This unit should not be allowed to be a rental property. The owners do not maintain  
their property at all.

Do not stay in unit # 506. It was dirty, dusty, torn screens, and needs painting.

I stayed in room 410 with some friends for senior week. The condo was advertised on a senior week rental. The first problem arises when someone hit a vape on a balcony. At 7am we hear a loud knock on our door from Bob Allen, a poor miserable soul. He woke us up and said we had to leave by 9 giving us less then 2 hours to pack up and leave. The management at sea watch is fine with kicking out all 18 and 17 year olds on the street with suitcases at 9am. If this doesn’t tell you all you need to know then I do t know what will. All because someone hit a vape OUTSIDE. We packed up and I went to the lobby to talk with him. He was extremely rude to me and he wouldn’t talk to my parents the renters of the condo. When he finally agreed to talk he was rude to my parents and hung up on my dad. He also said this was our second warning which was completely untrue. He also said he dropped off the no smoking agreements to our room for us all to sign which was also a blatant lie. We were able to stay one more night probably because he didn’t have grounds for eviction. We were quiet at night and very respectful to the employees. The next day someone knocked on our door and said we had a lot of violation although he wouldn’t specify any of them. He was very angry and didn’t communicate clearly. The next day we were officially evicted and Bob said he wouldn’t kick us to the curb and wait to our rides get there. This was only because one of the parents contacted them and threatened legal action. We packed up and as we were leaving we talked to another employee under Bob. We said that there were carts in front of our room that we didn’t use. The employees put them there and we asked if they could help us with that. The one guy gave us a very dirty look and said I see four of you right there. Some of the employees were kind, great people but with Bob Allen being there I think the employees weren’t too happy as he is grumpy, rude, and extremely unpleasant to be around. They had it out for my group of friends and do not go here without adults as the management will try to walk all over you and evict you just to double book the room. Not to mention this place had no towel sheets blankets or anything to make the stay enjoyable. The employees made us feel extremely unwelcome the entire stay. I felt relieved when I left that place. The cherry on top was two balcony’s down some adults were smoking cigs the entire week with the smell on our balcony all the time. We talked to a group if adults staying there and they said they had to of smoked a half pound of weed on the balcony and played loud music until 5 in the morning. If you are a group of kids please don’t go here it will end badly. I think that Bob Allen needs to have consequences for trying to kick out kids at 9am, being terribly rude, and blatantly lying.

BEWARE OF BOB ALLEN

This is a great condo in north Ocean City with beach access and walking distance of multiple restaurants and stores. There is also putt putt golf nearby. 

Downside due to COVID a lot of amenities offered by the condo association was closed such as the indoor pool, game room, theatre. 

This resort does follow current COVID rules and regulations but may not be add heard by all. 

Nice but...

Comfortable beds, close to the elevators, spacious laundry room for extra storage, cozy & comfortable living room, big fridge, & more!
The table legs were wobbly, so we tightened the nuts & all was good :)
Great North view up the beach.  Very clean.  Building was impressive, & so was the staff.
Lots of amenities!
VERY quiet.  Could not hear people above or beside us.

Unit 1302 was super!

This was my third time staying at the Sea Watch in 10 years. I have never stayed in a more poorly maintained unit here. Some of the problems I realize are not the owners fault, while others are. The Sea Watch itself is great: wonderful view from the balcony, right on the ocean, great sandwich shop, outdoor pool and grounds are well maintained (indoor facilities are closed due to Covid). We rented through Coldwell Banker vacations. Upon arrival we discovered that the unit had not been cleaned. First sign was a pile of garbage we found on the carpet in the middle of one of the bedrooms. So we called and they sent a cleaning crew right up. The lady that greeted us was very friendly, but she nor her crew were wearing masks to enter and clean the unit. We returned to find they had vacuumed and done the sinks, toilets, and windows. What I still found was garbage behind the beds and dressers in the bedrooms, coffee or syrup drip marks on the walls and cabinets in the kitchen, and dark brown smears on the wall behind the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. I realize none of this is the fault of the owner, so let me get to that part. The carpets in this unit are old and stained, dining table and chairs are wobbly, leather furniture is worn, there is hole in the closet door of one of the bedrooms and the entire unit is in need of a paint job.

Stay away from unit 1302

We have stayed at Sea Watch for three or Four years and love it!! Except for Unit 207...all of these units are almost identical and the others we’ve stayed in have been so well kept but NOT this one. We walked in and the floors we disgusting and filthy..sand everywhere. So right off the bat we were disappointed. The beds we beyond uncomfortable and on one of the beds the mattress pad was SO DIRTY I had to rip it off, throw it in a closet and wash my hands. There was also a faint smell of urine in that bedroom as well. The internet was bad and one of the TVs didn’t work. Tried to sweep up the floor but the broom was useless. Could use a good painting and another chair or two for the living room. One couch and kitchen chairs were the only options. The good was the location and the seating on the balcony was plentiful. Love this condominium building but this one was not one I’d recommend.
