Just spent another great week at Beachcomer 
Motel . Staff is great and it’s family run. If you’re looking for a clean affordable place to stay in ocean city away from all the noise this is it. Large rooms with free ice for your cooler for your trip to beach . Small kitchen in room where u could come home from beach for lunch and go back out it’s that close with mini fridge. Sheets towels and pillowcases always smell fresh . It’s Very clean but a little older .
I won’t stay anywhere else and housekeeping staff does a great job. See u next time.

Always satisfied here

Stayed here for a girls trip.  Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and access to the beach was super easy… a short block walk.  Great views of the bay from the 5th floor- only downside was the light pole outside room 504.  Would stay here again!   Only downsides are the hotel is a little dated (not a deal breaker in any way), noise from the main drag can be a little loud, and the bath is very small.

Basic but comfortable

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of August. The guys in the office were so nice to us and let us park at the hotel when we arrived in the area. We were also able to check in two hours before check in time. While on the cheaper side,  the  room was extremely basic and very dated, but everything was clean. They only have rooms that overlook Coastal Highway. While the traffic was extremely loud sitting on the balcony, you couldn’t hear much inside the room. We had a tornado warning and large storm the one night, and you couldn’t hear anything. The room also didn’t have that musty sea smell that most beach hotels have, so that was a win. The pool was decent and the clientele here were quiet. The beach was close by, but very crowded. We always were able to find a parking spot at the motel. I would stay here again if in the area, but they should consider updating the rooms.

Clean but dated!

The room was clean. The staff was amazing. We enjoyed both the Ocean view and the bay view. The owners were very friendly and helpful. First time there and that we will have many more vacations there. 🙌

Great hotel , great price. Friendly service

Close to the beach which was great, pool was clean and nice.
Wifi was spotty.
Room was a little dated, bathroom was very small and a little musty smell coming from AC and dresser drawers.

Was nice that staff let us stay parked after checkout which is expected but needed to use a bathroom when back from the beach after checkout, and they couldn't help with that which was a little bit annoying.

Decent

We stayed at the Beachcomber for a weekend in July. The staff is wonderful, the location is fantastic, and the rooms were very clean. The daily housekeeping was an added plus as many hotels are not doing stay over service. The management & staff were so kind & friendly (they even kept the pool open late one night for us). You are a 10 minute walk to Ropewalk Ocean City, shops, and mini golf. The free parking is an added bonus (they even have covered spots). We can’t wait to visit again.

Less than 150 feet from the beach

Stayed here for a long weekend, and the room was very clean and the staff were so nice! Loved that you didn’t have to cross a road to the beach and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Bus stops are right across the street if you want to hop on the bus for a short ride to the boardwalk or other restaurants!! We walked to the bayside skillet which had an amazing breakfast! Will definitely stay again! 

Very clean rooms and friendly staff! 

I stayed at the Beachcomber for 5 nights and its was the nicest Motel I have stayed at in a lomg time.  It was very clean and roomy, the kitchenette is fully equipped and perfect for making your breakfast and lunch (we ate out for dinner). I loved that it had a safe in the room and they gave you coffee to make in the 4 cup coffee maker I had brought a toaster bc I called ahead and the owner told me the room does not come with one...thank you for the heads up!!  The towels and bedsheets smelled very clean along with the property itself.  Our room had a king size and double bed which was perfect for our stay and they were very comfortable!!  Oh... and they even supplied hangers for our clothes a ironing board & iron.  I would definitelt stay here again!!

Highly recommend, Great Staff, Very Clean and close to the beach

Stayed here with a couple friends and was truly surprised! Our stay included clean rooms, helpful staff, and such a close walk to the beach! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to get away and wants to be close to the beach! I will definitely be returning!

We stayed at the Beach Comber over the July 4th holiday to stay near family.  Surprisingly, this 1/2 acre hotel with only 30 odd rooms is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in for the pricing. What impressed me the most was how well maintained the outside and pool area was. The rooms feature a kitchenette, large fridge and microwave and a two burner stove w/ a sink. Ours had a king bed ,a queen bed, a dresser, tv, table and two chairs as well as a private balcony, and again...SUPER CLEAN!!!!!.  The sheets AND the bedspread all smelled freshly laundered.  The great cleaning staff was quick to fill our request when we asked for extra pillows, and was extremely polite!!!.  The pool is small but adequate as you are only a block away from the beach.  My only suggestion is that even though the rooms are clean and freshly painted, the laminate and bathrooms could use some updating, but this wouldn't stop me from trying this hotel again.  The desk staff was helpful and really great to deal with as well, and communicated well during the reservation process as well as checking in and checking out.  All in all, it was a surprise compared to some of the bigger hotels we have stayed in.
