Location is good. 1 of the bathrooms could use some upgrade.  Some pots and pans were not clean/ greasy. When check in, we saw long hairs on kitchen towel (someone folded the towel didn't they see it?). Some areas/items were dusty.  Service was terrible, the heater went down to 50s at night and it was cold. Called twice and no one came/called back.  Be aware, supplies is available for start up only, but not for the week/entire stay which SHOULD MENTION on the website/during booking (we drove and could bring everything instead of shopped for everything during out vacation)!!!

Good location, but service was terrible

This was a typical OC beach unit. No the most updated or luxurious but was clean and had a nice view. The TV in the bedroom with the bayside view was broken. Despite how outdated and rickety the coffee maker was it produced a reasonable pot of coffee. Staff was not onsite and was available on check in day but did not respond to our message left later in our stay. This is a split residential and timeshare building and the residents we encountered were lovely and super helpful!

Ok off-season visit

I had fun with the family nice rooms full kitchen long balcony with nice views over all I had a nice experience. And would love to go back for a longer stay. Lots of action and things to do in the area 

Good family trip

Very happy.  Good place tor relax but still within walking distance of dining and other activities.  No onsite staff except for cleaning, but never felt we were more than a phone call away from anyone. A perfect get away for us.

A place to relax but still only a block away from everything

Carpets were stained. Dishwasher did not function properly (soap dispenser did not open). Washing machine had 4” of water in it upon arrival, ran a cycle to empty and it refilled. Reported both problems to management, were told someone would come check out the concerns. That was on Monday and by check out on Friday, no one showed up. Also reported no wash cloths, never received any. 

Definitely a resort needing attention

The resort is nice. The unit description says it is for 6.The space ok.I would like to see a larger eating space. The eating table will fit 5 people but seems to be meant 4.The wifi is intermittent anddiesoutsometimes. The pool needs to be able to be converted for winter usage. There also doesn't seem to be anyone working on site.

Good resort clean, parking for 2 cars. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen. Sleeps six. Three TV's plenty of channels.  Good internet included. Elevator, nice balcony. Good towels good pots and pans.  Had a tea kettle.

Military families deserved more than mice-infected and bug-invested units. I was disgusted by the dirty teams, fifty carpets, the dust and dirt, and the cleaning people smoking marijuana. I would never subject my family and friends to what my family and friends had to go through. Afraid to sleep at the nice and the mice tearing into our food. We were moved to another unit, and even tho we did not see mice, the bug's creepy crawlers were worst. People should not be subjected to this, This place was a true nightmare.

My daughter and I recently stayed at a property that Vacasa manages for her senior weekend. 

I travel a lot and this had to be one of the worst, if not the worst experiences I have had. To begin with, from the time we checked in at 4 PM to the next morning we did not have any clean bedding and had to sleep on the couches. I called multiple times and was told that someone would call and we received zero calls. I even stopped by the office and was told that the local manager would call me again she did not call, even though I was told she was in the office. On the second day, I called again because the bedding we received a day late was not the correct size for the king bed that we had. When the young man came to bring us the correct bedding, I asked him to call the RM whose name was Dylan. I overheard the unprofessional conversation from Dylan to the young man. He was complaining about the number of calls he had received about our stay. On top of not having the bedding that we needed, the room had not been cleaned from the previous stay. There were things spilled on the side of the bed, on the wall in the bathroom, in the fridge and freezer, on the floor, and there was trash in the trashcan and decorations in the bedroom, as well as tape hanging on the doorway from decorations. Additionally, the dirty bedding and dirty and damp towels were left in the rooms and on the bed in a pile, in one of the rooms. To date, I have not heard back from the RM, Dylan, who claimed that he needed to speak to his supervisor to determine a reasonable resolution for the many inconveniences we experience. 

Dylan was also supposed to get back to us about a reasonable compensation for the inconveniences, one of them being having to sleep on the couches the first night, because we did not have any clean bedding. We had to cover ourselves with our jackets.  Along with all the time I spent calling and being placed on hold.

The thing is, I waited and waited for a call from the RM and then when the young man came to bring us our bedding, finally, he called the RM and he answered immediately. What was even more troublesome to me is the way that he talked about us to the young man. He didn’t know I could hear him. I felt sorry for the young man that had to hear that with me standing there. He was lovely and sincerely apologized.

I understand being short staffed, but some things should be made a priority ie clean bedding at least before we went to bed. As mentioned, we had to sleep in the chairs the first night with our jackets covering us.  How is that okay?

I reached out to Vacasa via Facebook and IG  on 6/22/22 and they had a hard time reaching local management.  They assured me that they would let me know as soon as they had spoken to someone. I followed up multiple times and was told they could not get a hold of anyone. I followed up with them again today and was told the following “Good morning. We did receive an update from our team and at this point we are not able to offer additional compensation. We understand that that does not change your experience and we hope that the compensation you did receive demonstrates our desire to care for our guests. We hope you will allow us the chance to better impress you in the future.”

The only compensation we received was a refund of the cleaning fee, but Dylan stated he would get back to us about compensation for the other inconveniences. 

This is completely unacceptable!!

THE WORST Experience

I believe the location of the resort is the best selling feature. It is two blocks away from the beach and way north of the Ocean City Boardwalk. The property management is offsite thus you call to get your door codes and ask questions about unit. I wish they spent more on refurbishing the unit; it is dated with mirrored walls and 80s decor. The mattress was pretty firm and I slept well. The stove in our unit had 1 non-working burner of four. The cable never worked with more than 2 channels and no batteries in half of the remotes, thus having 3 televisions was pointless. With a family of 6 having 2 bedrooms was great. The balcony had a wonderful view of the water inlet to one side and the skyline of other buildings to the other side. The only hiccup in our visit was miscommunication to/from housekeeping when they believed we were to check out 3 days before our time and they changed the door locks. Thankfully they let us know this before we left the unit for a day trip.
