This place is a s!#t hole.i wouldn't stay there and ask for a refund which they would not give me .Pictures advertised was not what the rooms were.the place was dirty smelled and runned down definitely some slum lord BS

DON'T STAY HERE

Before we even arrived there were red flags that I should have seen. My wife handled all the details, since I get stir crazy with these things. She went on their website and found they actors pets, BUT, their pet policy was not listed/ detailed. She had to call since we have a10 year old blind 150 lb dog. Red flag 1. We get there at 1430 (they said checking was at 1500), and notified us at that time that they ONLY had 4 pet friendly rooms and we'd have to wait an hour or so (remember 1430 arrival, told 1500 checkin) before the room was avaliable. My wife asked how much the balance was, so when we came back we could pay it. They told her, we came back at 1530, and they said "oh we forgot to add the $100 deposit. Don't care that they have one, but how do you FORGET to add that in? Went to the room, and as I'm laying on the bed resting, simone from the hotel opens the door a little, sees me on the bed, and seems like she's debating coming in!!! WTF? Late at night we get a call and there's a family situation. We go to check out, and the refuse to give us a refund for the 2 nights we paid for but won't be staying. We know the need to charge for first and second night (no 25 hour notice), but keeping 2 nights pay they didn't earn? They said "oh, it's policy no refunds after checkin"checking. I asked where this was stated, she proceeds to grab a small plexiglass holder (facing the side street, NOT the front door and shows it to me. She says "it's on the website". My wife and I have been through EVERYTHING on that website and NADA. No pet policies, so why would there be cancelation policies? Old adage you get what you pay for. Theives, scumbags, ripoff artists. They probably sent that employee to steal from us, that's why they didn't bother knocking when they used a key card to open our door. Don't mind losing the deposit or having to pay for the 2nd day (even though we were having to leave before checkout), but to lose ALL 4 days, because they don't post policies and don't point them out before you sign paperwork? Just plain disgusting.

Worst ever

I book this motel through Booking.com based on the pictures they advertise for the hotel. When I got to the motel, the building looked as if it was falling apart with air conditionings hanging half way. The motel staff is the most rude, aggressive and threatening there is. After I got my keys, I went to the room to check it out and it looked and smell like dead rats. There were roaches walking on the walls, the bathroom was disgusting full of putrefied stuff all around the toilet. The beds and the sofa were full of semen. The furniture is old and broken, the ceilings and picture frames are broken. When I tried to get my money back because I had a baby and my dad who suffers from Asthma the motel staff said that I had to talk to Booking.com and when I called Booking.com they told me that it was the motel. When I started to demand answers, the motel staff locked me out, would not even  let me cancel the one night. I called the police and one of the staff came out and said "What I can do for you is to kick you out of the premises" I made a police report but they only wrote that they came when I called, nothing else. Up until today, I have not received my money back and the Motel threatened me to file a harassments report if I called again to get answers. This place needs to be taken down for breaking the sanitation codes, and every other code there is.

Most Disgusting Motel I have ever being (Not Family Friendly)

Hi everyone I hope this review is going to help you out please do not stay at  this hotel I have never ever seen a horrible management like this, I stayed 3 days at this hotel no one came to clean the trash started to pile up so I took out the trash I cleaned up my room this hotel must be shut down until they know how to upgrade and when they learn how the manage a hotel,I’m not talking about how the beds are uncomfortable, the door key stopped working two times, receptionist was very rude what I’m trying to say is SONT STAY HERE...And I’m going to complain about them Ocean City Hotel/Motel Associate...and one more thing why is TripAdvisor or booking or other websites still selling this motel after all bad reviews??

I spent 900 dollars on this  bad place and ended up with two rooms with one bed for three flipping night ..  lol this place a flipping  joke asked for a refund but no they wouldn’t then clearly I had to paid 400 extra dollar for a flipping upgrade plus 300 dollar deposit fee flipping  disgusting over price flipping place  crappy the owner bc we need to shut this crap down.. ruining people vacation and can’t event be understanding I hate this place so not go please ducking don’t if I would of known But I was beyond mad how people can’t give back people money THAT THEY WORK FOR.. this place can’t even fix up their places everything is a lie I am sooo upset thank you hotel for ruining my vacation

Worst motel

Room was dingy and needed some fresh paint and the bathroom faucet did not work well. But, as the hotel was inexpensive, I wasn't too surprised. Where the hotel really faltered, was in service. There were no bath towels at check in. the hotel provide towels to me at my request, but then the next day, no one cleaned our room. When I reported this at 4:00 pm, the hotel did not offer to clean the room -- perhaps the cleaning staff was gone. When I checked out the next morning, I requested a partial refund due to the lack of service (about 20% of the total bill). The desk attendant said she would notify the owner. I never received a response from the owner, nor did I receive a response when I contacted the hotel through its website a few days later. I understand mistakes can happen. What bothers me (and causes me rate this hotel as terrible) is the lack of customer service in responding to my complaint.  

Visit to Ocean City

No, the rooms don't look like the pictures online. The towels suck (small and thin) and the floor was a little dirty (sandy), but the bed was comfortable and clean, the shower was clean, the toilet was clean, and there was plenty of parking. There was good water pressure in the shower and the locks on the room door were secure. It is also close to the beach and walkable to many restaurants. It is a older budget motel at the beach. We didn't think Room #49 was too bad.

It wasn't THAT bad

This motel has completely misrepresented itself.  It looks nothing like the pictures shown online and was completely filthy and disgusting.   
The air conditioner had a thick coat of fuzz/mold the front of it like it wasn’t cleaned for a least a year.  This caused our eyes to water then entire next day.   After pulling back the comforter inside the bed sheets was other people’s hair, pubic hair and a used condom.  There was hair in the sink and mold in the bathroom, also no towels were left for us on the first night and then they brought towels with brown stains them the next night.  
The deadbolt lock did not work on the front door and the door in-between the rooms were missing the lock.  Also the smoke detector started chirping and woke us up in the middle of the night.  This smoke detector was disconnected and the battery in it was non-compliant.  
When I got back they did not take care of the problems.  We tried to go to the office that evening and the door was locked and no one there.  We tried to call but no one answered and the voicemail said it was full and I could not leave a message.   
After almost a week of dealing with Marquito who claims to be the Motel manager I have come to realize that this Motel is run by slumlords that have been previously thrown out of the Ocean City Hotel/Motel/Restaurant Association.  It is this Association that accepts formal complaints about these matters in Ocean City.  When necessary, they will pass along complaints to the OC Planning and Zoning Board.  Contact info for the OC HMR Association is 410-289-6733.  Contact info for the OC Planning and Zoning Board is 410-520-5429.  They will look into Motel rooms with non-working or non-compliant smoke detectors.  And the Worcester County Health Dept. contact # is 410-632-1100.  All who stay here should keep these numbers handy...  you'll eventually need them because the slumlords don't care about their patrons.

I booked a date for two for my work. When I found out I didn't have to go I cancelled. I called to see when I should expect the deposit of $229.00 and I was told by the manager very rudely that it was non-refundable. Since she was so rude, I asked to speak to her boss and she very abruptly told me to call the next day between 10-4 and hung up!

Very rude

The place is filthy, overpriced and in disrepair. We reserved a room for 4 guests, but were assessed a fee of $80 for guests 3 & 4 x 2 days upon arrival + $100 for our 2 well-behaved dogs + $50 parking for an extra vehicle. Upon check-in, I noticed the toilet seat is broken. It is completely cracked and pinches the user. I reported this to management and it was acknowledged but never remedied. Her reaction, and that of the gentleman working the desk on Day 2, + the appearance of the crack lead me to believe it has been that way for an extended period of time. Since the restroom at the 7-11 across the street was cleaner, we resorted to covering the seat with paper, in hopes that it might spare a pinch from the seat, but the paper, too, would pinch and stick in the crack, pinch and broke my skin. Surely the $230 additional fees we paid for our dogs, extra guests and parking could have covered a $25 toilet seat. There were 2 towels in the room. On the morning of day 2, I asked for more as we are 4 people and was told someone would deliver them. That never occurred. The 2 towels we did have were the quality of shop towels one might purchase at the Dollar Store. The air-conditioning unit is covered in dust and dirt and is Legionnaires' Disease waiting to happen. The bathroom fan was inoperable. The only ventilation in the bathroom is the missing drop ceiling panel, completely exposing the wiring and rafters above, and providing conduit for the marijuana smoke emanating from another room near us. There was sand and dirt everywhere, upon our arrival.The bedding does not fit the beds. The pillows are about 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick and pointless. The 2 chairs in the room were so dirty and stained no one would sit on them. We slept in our clothes and spent as little time as possible in the room so we didn't really care that the DirecTV remote is not synched with the television and stuck on 1 channel, but someone else might care.

I would not recommend this motel to anyone but a health inspector. Shut it down.
