stayed for a night with kitchenette  room and room was clean and the rooms are dated but not bad overall and did not have any major issues. The balcony was a great addition and will stay again. Parking is small and they charge 10 dollars but it is couple of blocks walk to the boardwalk.

good, No frills hotel

Disgusting, roach motel. They ripped me off on two different cards, a debit and a credit card. So my deposit was 80 dollars through my debit card that was taken out of my bank account. Then they said it didn’t go through. So then I used a credit card, and said that they only got money from one card. I was completely defrauded.

Gross personal service. The guy at the desk said F U  when I brought up I was charged twice!!!!

WiFi was unavailable, bathroom doorknob broke off, microwave didn’t work, key cards randomly deactivated, deadbolt on door didn’t work. Only upsides were that the place was decently clean and it’s in a good location

Room for improvement

On August 29, 2020 my husband and I arrived to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. When I booked the room, the room I selected said it had a private balcony of the bay. When I arrived it was barely any place to park and the spots were so tight you had to be careful opening the door. When we got to the front office and checked in the clerk advise us we would be in the back. I asked about the balcony and she said it is the walk way to get to your room and it was not private. The rooms on the front had a small private balcony, so I thought maybe they switched my room. We still while trying to make the best out of the situation. We were given room 102. When I walked in the room my jaw dropped. I was armed with microban 24 but all the disinfectant in the world would not help here. The bed was filthy with obvious stains on the pillow cases. Hubby swears there were no pillow cases on the pillows, but I wasn't touching them to find out. The bathroom had tiles that cracked under your feet. The tub was stained and dirty. There was a office chair in a corner that was soiled. Last but not least, there was an electrical breaker box with no door, so just open breakers to look at while your in bed. We called the front desk and was told they had no other rooms to offer. My husband and I walked around front and told the clerk we would like a refund. She went towards the back to speak to her manager, when she returned she advised us that we would get a partial refund for one night. Wait, what!?!? I explained that we just drove 4 hours to get here and that we weren't leaving without a refund. The clerk again went to the back and returned and informed us that we could only get 1 of 2 days refunded and we needed to leave the property.  I said, thats fine. But since you aren't giving my money back I am calling the fire dept. and letting them know after complainig to the manager I was asked to leave with a partial refund because I complained about a uncovered breaker box. I guess they knew they had a lot of code violations because instantly we were refunded our entire amount. Save time and don't stay here unless you are a crackhead on vacation.

Lefthe clernt immediately

We had a big group of people we needed to host for a weekend for a specific event. This spot wasn't ideal, but did the job. If anything, the room in the back on the left, on the first and second floor were more appealing than the one I was in in the front of the building. The beds & bedding need to be updated desperately. Everything in the rooms does, actually.

In a time of need

The out side had trash and weeds every where ! So I knew it wasn’t going to be good . Sandy foot prints on floor ! The room smelled the whole 2 days , I sprayed Lysol in the room and I had to clean the filthy black ac filter! The curtains don’t cover the window and the shade had broken slats ! The bed had some kinda on falling apart pillow sham on it . Looked to make up glitter on it ! The sheets are not fitted , they wouldn’t stay on the bed ! The mattress cover was tore and a stain was on the side of the box spring ! I was ready to leave but the said no refunds ! I clean for a living and my spouse and I are not partygoers at age 55 & 58 .Walls are paper thin and NO parking ! So sorry I didn’t take But the one pictures , We didn’t sleep well due to smell and left at 5 am on check out day ! No room service either , you have to go get towels.

Smells moldy! 

Worst place I’ve ever stayed.  Dirty rooms. Smells.  Floor under the bed is disgusting.  The bathroom is gross.  And very small.   Thin walls.   Would give it 0 stars but was unable to do so while writing a review

Disgusting

The room itself was not horrible, but I checked in and then went out for the night. Came back and my key cards would not work it took the guy in the office 45 minutes to finally get into the room. Once in I realized that 3outof the 4 in the room didn't work. I ask the guy in the office for a new room and he said there were none available.  Keep In mind the parking lot was empty at 230 in the morning. I askedfora partial refund for a subpar room and they said that was not possible. 
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Very disappointed 

First and foremost let me just say that I stayed here for a weekend with a few friends of mine (we are all in our mid-20s) so we weren't exactly looking to stay in a hotel with the standards of a Hilton. You get what you pay for but I really don't understand how it's overall rating is barely more than one star. 

The pros are the rooms are actually decent sized - we had a room on the third floor with two double beds and a queen bed as well as a balcony. Room was spacious. The hotel is on the bayside so it's right next to the bay with a dock that has the perfect view of the sunsets each night. The location is conveniently close to a lot of things.

Cons are the rooms have an odd stench to them which leaves one to think the rooms aren't the cleanest. Bathrooms are small and tiles are dirty. While other hotels in Ocean City are non smoking this one permits it so there were people outside on each floor casually walking around and smoking. During the late night hours the employees and what appeared to be other workers from other jobs all gathered outside in the parking lot mingling and causing a commotion. Again didn't bother us but I could see families with children be annoyed at this.

All in all it's definitely not the worst hotel in ocean city and if I'm with friends on a budget I wouldn't definitely consider staying here again, but it's definitely not on the top of my list to visit.

Not as bad as people say but still average

Booked hotel for 4 nights and woke up after the second night to find the hotel room was infested with bed bugs. Room 119. The chair was full of black spots which are bed bug poop, the sheet had a blood spot from a smashed bed bug, and i had 2 bed bug bites. When the office was confronted about it all they said they could do for us was change the sheets because there was no other room available to be moved to. Anybody that knows anything about bed bugs knows this will not solve the problem. I expressed that i would not be staying there, sleeping in bed bugs and having my things infested and they refused to refund me my money. I left anyway because i was not spending another night there and would rather loose my money than sleep in bed bugs. In addition the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. We were never given pillowcases. We had the do not disturb sign up and the maid still entered our room. Overall terrible, disgusting, awful place that i would never recommend to anybody.
