My review... returning customer of years first time having issues... live cockroaches in sink... was given stuff to spray myself and did not offer another room.. was promised exterminator monday,weds, then Friday well they wouldn't do it since room was occupied. Lousy 116.49 refund. Now to exterminate my own stuff with my time and own money. Broken ass door even house keeping didn't shut it right after towel delivery could of been robbed. Finding worm like bugs 🐛  floating in the toliet here and there in bathroom. Broken glass on floor stabbing my son prolly from the broken lamp they know about when we mention.. Oh and no tp time of check in! To add owner walking around delivering donuts and coffee (very cool) I spoke with him on my concerns but seem to get no where as a happy resolution. Will not return after this years disappointment.

Roaches

We had booking for july3rd-7th, 2023 in the west building 3 bedroom apartment, we’ve begged to talk to the owner that everyone refused to let any of us talk too, so our next steps are filing a complaint with consumer protection agency over the ENTIRE situation. Let’s start with from the moment we got there, upon checking in I reviewed my outstanding balance, only owed $1,300 left when checking in they told me it’s was $1,500 plus another $100 deposit plus $50 fee for parking! Which was never mention until checking in that the balance was changing people are on fixed incomes, what if they only brought the amount it said plus a little spending money, so that’ll be reported. When checking in our room wasn’t ready they said come back at 3 it’ll be ready, after a 2 hour wait after driving over 5 hours 3 o’clock hit I walked in to check in it still was not ready for check in time at 3, they said come back in 15 minutes, so we waited another 15 minutes still was NOT ready, just to find out no one has cleaned it at all or even started at 3:15pm, we waited until 5 o’clock to finally check in 2 hours after the original check in time, to find the entire room was still filthy never once swept or vacuumed as we took photos and video evidence due to reporting it, it was not worth the $450 I paid for not even half a day when I paid that for a full day/night, we asked for a refund for the first day and to talk to the owner while still waiting for room they refused and said we can refund $40… wow geesh thanks! 15 minutes into the the apartment the main door handle fell right off we reported it they said they’d come fix it NEVER did so it was hard to go outside of the room the entire 5 days, the Mai tance man admitted previous renters trashed the place, the next morning I reported the floor kept getting soaked out of no where no one checked it ofcourse the entire stay, 3 days in as I was showering water came pouring down the lights and exhaust fan causing sparks and almost catching on fire I immediately reported it as it was a hazard they came looked and said just don’t use the tan until we figure out the problem. Still was a problem all the way after check out, 3rd day still toaster was best and smashed took it over they did give a brand new toaster, but that doesn’t even count for half the stuff we were put through the unsafe conditions the super late check in etc, upon checking out they showed us the new lock and said that room will be the first priority okay well why wasn’t nothing done while we were there? Then to find out that room had previous water problems and they said the pipes are under floor meaning they may have to tear up the floor so no wonder why our room was soaked the entire time. Will provide photos and more photos upon request, but I’d like to talk to the owner about this as well as reporting to for safety concerns. If I can’t get all my money back I atleast want some! 717-953-2725 is my number, choose wisely people do your research and read reviews!

Terrible

Always looking for a good deal...Great location, the night time lady was great & gave us great ideas on where we should go while visiting. The pool is so clean & loved taking a dip after a hot day on the boardwalk. We couldn't be more pleased with this trip. My husband liked being able to purchase an additional parking pass. We definitely will be back later this summer

Summer Fun

Stay away we were there June 2023 for the Airshow bathroom sink was broken and they never fixed it they promised to refund some money but we did not receive it the only good about this place is the location .

Weekend hotel stay 2023

The staff was nice, arrived early but was able to get my parking pass for the day, came back to check in at 3pm and the room was a mess, not cleaned, was told we had to wait for wash cloths it was still being washed, TV didn't work, someone did come right up to help, but it was not a comfortable stay.

Ok for just an overnight stay

I prefer the local mom and pop stays. This location was basic, but not in a negative.  We had a poolside Room with double bed and couch. Room was clean although small was inviting and more than enough room for two adults. Staff was extremely helpful and always present. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. This place is located approximately one block from the boardwalk. So we were able to go have drinks dinner and go for a walk and stay close by, we never moved our car. There are two breakfast diners close by in walking distance also. 😋 in the evening you could sit outside the room, chairs and small table are provided, and take in the night breeze. All In all we were comfortable and felt attended to. Will definitely be booking again.

Taking a break

Great staff and nice atmosphere.  I will be back to stay.  Everyone is still working hard to improve the quality of the property.  It’s a great place to spend a week or longer with out breaking your pocket book.

The Burgandy Motel in Ocean City

Well let's start from the very beginning. I called to book for a week in August but I called in July told them the dates I wanted and that your website special was get a night free during the week. So I told court I wanted monday-friday with Friday being my free night. He took my card information told me he would get it book I should recieve a confirmation email.. i waited 3 days still no confirmation, so I called back just to find out he NEVER ran it through.. then proceeded to tell me I don't know if the special is still going on, I said what do you mean it's on your website.. well we finally got that squared away and booked I left everything go at that.. I did the book now pay later option remaining balance of $300 left owed, and told them I would pay the rest upon showing..

The day before we left for the beach I went to my bank to find my account was a -$379 dollars. I was mindblowned. Found out it was because the burgundy inn had processed my payment after they weren't suppose too. On top of processing it added an extra $79 to my bill without any explanation. Not to mention I had to pay a $40 overdraft fee because of them not paying attention to my booking. 

Upon arrival Monday afternoon, we found we had to wait hours to have our room cleaned from previous renters. Just to find the room was NASTY! Sand all over the floors dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, I literally had to go ask for a broom and new sheets and went and bought cleaning supplies to clean myself. They're cleaning staff are horrible! 

Two nights into our stay we discovered our babies are getting sick from the mold in the air conditioner. Ontop of it the upstairs bathroom leaked into ours leaving our belongings and floor wet. I even found the floor caving in right outside our bathtub. I immediately went to the office to mention the leaking as it's destroying our belongings it took someone an hour to come look. LITERALLY just looked at it and asked how long we were staying we said til Friday, the guy had said ill fix it when you guys leave... are you kidding you can't fix it now? Give us another room? But did offer some money back. Which we NEVER received. I even went back to the office and talked to the manager Megan Megan she told me that he was taking care of it.. clearly not as we dealt with it all week and had to use a million towels daily to soak all the water up. 🙄  

Day 3 into our stay just shy of 10 o'clock we discovered our toilet is backed up and not working, ontop of the leaking upstairs bathroom into ours and the dirty room.. so I called to have something done, ofcourse no answer because they're CLOSED and had no one there on-call to fix things. We had to go that ENTIRE night/morning til 9am when someone came in to finally get to say something to fix it. No one came til about 3 hours later... at this point I'm fuming with everything that has happened from booking to the 3rd night in.

Fourth night in same thing happens again with the toilet, so again had no bathroom to use the entire night. We were so mad we just packed up and ended our family vacation thursday late night early due to the horrible expierence this year. 

Thus was by far the WORST expierence/stay ever! This would of been the 4th year of going there. And none of the staff or managers cared like they say they do. I'll be looking into a new hotel/apartment to book for next year.

Loved the close proximity to the beach/boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance! Nice pool. Very small rooms with privacy issues-you could see through the blinds from outside even with the blinds pulled down. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner but for the price, it was worth it for a cheap trip to ocmd on a budget! 

Great Location!

Highly overpriced and the bathroom is so dirty that I actually preferred using a public restroom instead of the one in the apartment. 
The whole apartment is run down, dirty, smelly and all the bad things. 
I wonder how in the world they even have a license to rent this dump, I would rate it -1 stars if I could
