Super clean and comfy cottage, love Rose’s chocolate chunky chip cookies, love the location, right across from Damon Point and a short drive to “downtown”, walking distance to Oyhut village for coffee and awesome bakery items (the cheese garlic herb biscuit is better than Red Lobsters)! The Oyhut grill is a great choice as well. Dogs are welcome - if you need to wash your dog, I’d highly recommend Dirty Dog self wash/grooming - the owners are super. 🐶 Great getaway!

Immaculate cottage

If the host need to be obnoxious about the fact that they now only give Costco muffins and instant oatmeal, perhaps they should state that specific fact on their website. When I directly contacted them per their suggestion, they did not, in any way, apologize for my concern. perhaps lower the price of the room to give better value?

Crummy breakfast

Great accommodations and beautiful rooms. Just stayed for 1 night and wished we would have stayed longer. We will be back again for future visits. We stayed in the main house and had everything we could have asked for and more! Could not have thought of anything that they could have done to make it better!

Beautiful accommodations!

It had been about a dozen years since we had been to the Collins Inn, but the high quality of  hospitality Jim and Rose showed us then was even better this time! The beautiful Pacific Room, complimentary breakfast bar, access to small tables for use in our rooms and helpful hints from the Collins' on visiting the area were all most welcome. And the beach is so accessible!  I really don't know why it took us so long for a return visit. It won't take us another twelve years to get back the next time!

A Long Overdue Return Visit

We had a great time. We highly recommend this place. Very clean, safe and comfortable. Just across from the beach. Friendly owners! Fresh baked cookies. Far enough from the city to chill but close enough to drive to town in 5 minutes 

Nice get away 

Such a wonderful experience.   From the booking to checking in and the beautiful cottage we stayed in.  We were in cottage #1. It was beautifully decorated, completely updated and incredibly clean.  We were even welcomed with delicious homemade cookies!  Beds were so comfortable and the linens were super soft! We had a couple of questions and Rose was very quick to answer and very nice.  You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment.  We would definitely stay here again and look forward to it! 

Incredible experience from start to finish!

We had a short stay to visit family in Ocean Shores so were lucky to get a 2 night reservation for three--mom, dad, and adult daughter traveling together.  The cottage we rented was perfect for us and this travel--2 bedrooms upstairs one downstairs, nice kitchen well appointed with easy to use appliances (plus TWO coffee maker choices--and we used both of them!).  It was clean, nicely decorated, quiet, easy to find and pretty convenient to the Ocean Shores area.  There is only one bathroom, which was fine for the 3 of us, but there is a sink upstairs for brushing teeth and maybe make up application, to keep bath use to more specific bathing and toileting needs!

The beds and bedding was very comfortable, we invited the couple we were visiting for brunch and it was really comfy.  The automatic fireplace is a very nice touch!  

Proximity to the beach is ideal.  It was all around a really nice stay and we are so happy it was available for our family visit!

A really nice and upscale "cottage"

After owning a timeshare in Copalis for over 30 years, fast forward to 1 less timeshare (1) and the opportunity to pick a new place.  Collins Inn has always been on my bucket list.  They did not disappoint.  Easy scheduling, check-in/out.  I loved the location and the layout of the unit.  Plenty of goodies awaited us, including homemade cookies and multiple types of coffee and creamers.  The weekend we visited was one of those 'smokey' days in the Seattle metro area, and also unseasonably hot.  So when we arrived in Ocean Shores and noticed there was also some (milder) smoke, we were delighted the innkeepers had set up fans throughout the cottage to keep things cool and refreshed.  The one aspect of this venue we missed was an outdoor space, i.e., deck, patio, etc., but the beach is less than a 100 yards walk away.

Quick Getaway to Beat the Heat

We have been coming to the Collins Inn for many years. I love the fact you can bring your dogs along and stay at a very nice and clean place. The accommodation's are great for dogs and families. One of my favorite parts of the vacation is arriving to warm chocolate chip cookies. The beach is not very busy and right across the street. 
We look forward to many more vacation at the Collins Inn.

2 happy Dogs at the Beach

We stayed in cottage 1 at Collins inn in ocean shores, it has a handicap ramp making it possible for my mom to easily get in.  There were cookies waiting for us, mom really enjoyed that.   The cottage was clean and comfortable. Nice quiet area. The staff was helpful.
