were not opposed to enjoying the simplest of motels Cheap enough to enjoy the beach and spend our money on a great meal out, only $70 a night for a room less than a block from the beach and we even had a view of the ocean

Very clean... But as expensive as the Marriott. We were robbed by a pervert. Cops were not even surprised. They were very aware of the bike seat sniffer. I suggest many of the other motels they are ALL about the same price. Management was nice but this is definitely a local flophouse for  idiots and crack-heads there were people sleeping underneath our windows nearly every night. We got out as soon as there was another room available as the crazy that stole my bike seat was getting more and more aggressive and bold the cops knew who he was he lives there

Very disappointed! Was told by owner over the phone the place was very clean and rooms were updated. Place smelled of musty mildew when we opened the door. Sheets and towels smelled the same way. No air conditioning. We killed two cockroaches. Totally unacceptable! Had three nights booked There, flew out of there afte one night and found better accommodations.

Beachwood Motel in Oceanside was the perfect place to stay. While it is not a 5 star hotel, it is perfect for those spending their days on the beach which is only a block away. I will return here every time I visit Oceanside. The customer service here was magnificent as well.

The motel was just up the street from the beach and the motel owner was very nice.  The hotel is nothing fancy, but it was clean.  It is a very noisy location.

I loved the location, but the hotel seemed a bit overpriced.  It is very old and we did not get maid service for the 4 night stay, but if we needed anything we just needed to ask at the front desk.  

The beach was amazing, very clean and everyone was very friendly.  There were a lot of homeless people around, but I think that is normal for the area.

For me it was a really nice relaxing trip and I loved being able to walk a block to the beach!

This hotel should be closed because of unhealthy c is a horror this hotel is actually tres old and has never been renovated as a result of the wooden windows almost impossible to open and tres tres dirty as alise we had the plastic to buy the mattress carpet was tres dirty covered with stains cerise on the cake and this we do not wash seen at the reservation the railway not under the windows with the addition of the level crossing the trains whistling along the passage one to sleep we the owner offered us balls that we just have a nice place to sleep for the next one room in the banquet the noise was less loud but there we had to ask for heating in the mirror he had to repeat this three times to ask that the hotel did not have a lamp and the air conditioner on the front of the stairs and we had to take a look at the air conditioner on the right side of the street
