I booked on a Wednesday evening for a one night stay for Friday evening into Saturday. After not feeling well Thursday morning I tested positive for Covid that afternoon. I called the desk and told them of the situation. They were unconcerned and stated I will just to forfeit my entire payment. Instead I stated I would just show up, check in and stay; thus putting other guests/staff at risk. The young kid at the desk said “we don’t care what you do, but you’re not getting a refund.” I should’ve showed and passed around the Covid but I’m not that petty. I took the hit and let them keep it. Badly run business with untrained and rude employee(s). Good riddance. 

No concern for guests health!

We appreciated the mgt keeping the inn open for our stay as we were the only couples staying that evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The inn was immaculate. We have stayed there previously and will be back again. 

Excellent accommodations and staff

The desk personnel was Great..very friendly and accomadating..House keeping did a fantastic job in our room..(although we chose to sleep in late during our stay)Hats off to all..A great team..we would stay here again a heart beat..New people on board but just as accommodating as previous


A Great Get Away Experience 

We were greeted by friendly staff who answered our many questions about places to eat or activities in the area. Our room was whst we had requested and we of course had the luxury of the indoor pool and jacuzzi  which made our stay pleasurable! With weekends so busy since Labir Day filled with grandchildren’s activities we took the opportunity to get away early week and we’re not disappointed. Maine and Ogunquit always have much to offer.

Time to ourselves!

The Juniper Hill Inn is well located just east (north) of the Ogunquit Center, and just a 10 minute walk to the beach.  We always book a King Deluxe room- the rooms with the continuous balconies- on the second floor.  The room is clean, with a comfortable bed, a spacious counter right next to the heating unit, a spacious vanity sink, a compact refrigerator, and a separate toilet-bath/shower.  The climate control works very well.  There is a pool facility with a pool house.  There is the Littlefield Room, an area with dining tables in a separate building where breakfast used to be served.  One can order food for lunch from the Village Market and eat it here.   One can order essential breakfast items and store these in the compact fridge.   The Inn no longer serves complimentary breakfast, but there are several breakfast options close nearby.  There is coffee in the lobby as well.  When in Ogunquit, we wlll keep coming back!

We Keep Returning

This was our first visit to Juniper Hill. It is a traditional motel style building with an interior lobby entry but totally updated. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with crown moldings, stylish very effective room darkening curtains and relaxing furniture. The beds are new and very comfortable. Pillows are kinda small but there are many. Thermostat is easy to operate, responsive and HVAC is quiet. The bathroom has 2 sinks with Koehler faucets and are separated by a privacy door. Tile is new in the tub/shower and floor. The grout is immaculately clean. The room has a refrigerator, good sized TV, work desk and decent WiFi. The public areas; pool, lobby and grounds are all well maintained. This hotel is an excellent value! The hotel is a short pleasant walk to restaurants, shops, beach, theater and Marginal Way. Ogunquit is a great weekend destination. Can’t wait to return.

Ogunquit Memories

I don’t want people to find out about this hidden gem.  I want to keep it all to myself. But that said it is all super good here. If you can walk 2miles you can walk every where. Everything is sparkling clean. The pool(indoor) and fitness are great for those who want to exercise. Staff are friendly and cheerful. The grounds are manicured. What’s not to like? Nothing. We loved our stay at the Juniper Inn.

Juniper Hill Inn is always consistent and look forward every time to staying here.   Everyone working at the Inn is very personable and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs.  The rooms are a very spacious, lots of storage. comfortable mattress ad exceptionally clean.  There was an issue with the room I originally checked into and changed rooms without a fuss.  These things happen and after that, I was good to go.  

I especially like their morning coffee and I bring my own skim plus milk which I keep in the room fridge.  By the way, that fridge works great, not like other hotel mini fridges.  

Well, I'll be back this summe,r I'm sure.  

Another perfect stay

We are visitors from the UK and stayed at Juniper Hill at Ogunquit in September 2022. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing and the short walk to the beach from the back of the property was very picturesque. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, it has a lovely laid back vibe. 

My primary reason for writing this review is to applaud the incredible service we received from the desk staff and Megan in particular. We didn't have a car and were having major difficulties getting to our next destination which was at Hampton Beach. Megan took it upon herself to make several phone calls and pull a few strings to sort this problem out for us. She really did go above and beyond and it was quite simply customer service on another level to anything I've experienced before. It was as if our problem had become her problem and she wouldn't rest until it was sorted. She was a credit to the hotel, as were all the staff on the reception desk that day and I can't thank them all enough.
