On first appearance, we were a little skeptical, but once in the room we were pleasantly surprised. It looks like they’ve done some renovations.  It was clean and comfortable, but mostly, it was quiet! The interior walls are concrete so they block out the outside noise very well. Great place to stay with a dog as there’s lots of yard space and they even gave us sheets to put on the bed for the dog! We’ve stay in a number of “name brand” hotels while traveling and this room had the best, quietest heater compared to all the bother places.  I would defiantly recommend this “mom and pop” motel.

Good place

Last minute trip to Hocking Hills.  I called the Lake Logan Inn about 10:30pm to make a reservation.  No answer so I proceded to begin to use a 3rd party booking site.  My phone rang and it was Mary at Lake Logan Inn.  She was returning my missed call.  That is great customer service. 

i have never met a motel owner who is more caring, conscientious and determined to make our stay the very best possible.  Any question we had, she had the answer.  They have owned the hotel since July 2021...so ignore any previous bad reviews.  They have made a lot of improvements and have a number of very good ideas of how they want to further  improve the hotel and grounds.  The grounds show evidence of their care of the property with many new perennial plantings. 

Room with one king bed was spotlessly clean.  Everything worked perfectly in the room.  Occasionaly hiccop with internet, but that happens with technology.  Although there is not a breakfast option, there is a very nice diner close to the hotel.   Price for the room is very very good for this area. 

Would definitely stay again if we are in the area. 

EXCELLENT Experience

Pricey for what it is. Booked through a site. Saw a bug run across the floor so i looked under the bed and saw a pair of  underwear under the bed 😷 obviously they do not clean very thoroughly. We will not be staying again.

This property was clearly designed as a motel of the old school. But the owners have obviously done a good job not only to maintain a high standard but to improve it. Spacious and very clean rooms and very comfortable beds guarantee a good nights rest. All the good trails of the State Park are within easy driving distance. Totally worth the price and more.

Very good hotel in its category

Do not reserve online with this hotel thru booking.com or thru the hotel directly. First of all the took the full amount out before I arrived to hotel and checked in.  Then  I decided within 2 hours to cancel my reservation and they charged me the entire amount  even though i did not stay.  The hotel blamed booking.com for not refunding the amount but booking.com says it was hotels policy.   The hotel itself was ran down and dirty.  I would not recommend booking.com or Budget Inn for anything.

Scam

The desk clerk " Stacie" was wonderful, the rooms were clean, well kept, we would stay there again. Bed seemed a little too firm, bit I slept solid almosty all night.  Central enough to all the attractions for Hocking Hills State Park,,

Awsome service,

Decent room, fun energetic desk clerk but ICE COLD water for a morning shower does not make me a happy camper!
I ran the shower and sink on hot for 10 minutes and was ICE COLD the whole time,,,
I told the very nice clerk how angry I was and his reply was something about the handle position????? Great guy, not his fault the water heater obviously failed to work...
Otherwise, the room was nice.  Comfortable bed with NO BUGS... I would like to stay here for a summer bike trip with many of my fellow bikers, but not ready until I get confirmation from hotel that hot water will be available....Ball in your court to make me happy Budget INN????

Ice Cold Shower

If you plan to spend most of your stay outside in the Hocking Hills, this is a great place to lay your head at night. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, good cable, and friendly service. In all honesty, this was the only place we could find a room for a last-minute trip to Hocking Hills, and it was a good choice. We brought a cooler of food, and there is a fridge and microwave too. Not many toiletries, but there are restaurants and a Wal-Mart nearby for any needs that may arise. Mainly, it's convenient access to the Hocking Hills area, which is gorgeous.

Great Value for a Busy Trip

Stayed here 2 nights.. 7/6 & 7/7. Manager was so nice. Beds are super comfortable along with the pillows. I will say my negatives are that the room smelled odd & the maid only made one bed in a two bed room. So aside from that, great stay. Very nice manager!!
