My daughter and I have been staying at the SD for several years now and love it here! We see the ocean right from our balcony! Clean, comfortable rooms! Missy and her team are the best! We feel like family when we go there!

Great place 2 stay!

If I could give this more stars, I would. Absolute fantastic stay. From check in to check out, the experience was just great. Room was clean, full kitchen, view of the ocean, building was in great shape and clean, pool was sparkling and nice temperature, location was just across the street from a nice stretch of beach with flour soft sand, places to eat just an easy walk away…. And the cherry on the sundae was the absolutely amazing owner, Missy… she makes you feel like family, is so helpful and accommodating and is always there with a smile. She really cares about her property and it shows

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Sea Drift. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and Missy was the friendliest, most accommodating host I've encountered in forever. Just a five-minute walk to the beach, and about a mile from all the hubbub of the center of town. The value was okay, but you'd expect to pay a slight premium at any OOB motel on the beach in the middle of August. If we come back to town, we will definitely stay at the Sea Drift again.    

Friendly Comfort

We always enjoy staying at the Sea Drift and the young ones enjoy it even more!  The kitchette is perfect for cooking and eating in.  The balcony is wonderful to sit and relax or have your lunch.  Beach is a short walk so we made many trips to the beach and back to the pool with the grandchildren. They loved the large pool.  Staff is very friendly and helpful and of course Missy is the best!  She went above and beyond to make our short stay at OOB awesome!



Great place to stay!

I have been visiting Maine and staying at the Sea Drift since 1977. I have fond memories there as a kid with my folks and years later began taking my own kids there.  Other members of my family also make the Sean Drift their OOB motel of choice. 

The Sea Drift is clean, well maintained and the owner is so nice and hospitable.  Over the years the motel has remained consistent with service and appearance.  The location is also perfect.  Close to the beach with easy access to it and far enough away from the center of town to be away from the crowds.  I really enjoy my stays at the Sea Drift and look forward to my next visit.

The Best Place To Stay at OOB!

We have been going to the Sea Drift Motel for over 15 years.  We look forward to this vacation every year.   Missy is so accommodating.  It’s a short walk to the  pier  and we just walk across the street to the ocean in the morning and after lunch we are in the pool for the afternoon.  
We like the rooms upstairs as they have a full refrigerator and a stove.  We are able to cook meals to save money,  Missy has 3 grills out back for her guests.
We love Missy and look forward to coming back next August.

Our favorite place to go

I had a room down the road and they overbooked. They found me the Sea Drift that had  vacancies ,I'm so glad they did. Missy and staff were so kind and helpful.  The room was cute and very clean. Beach right across the street and the Pier was close enough to walk to.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for two nights.  This was a wonderful place to stay!  We were close to the beach, and the pool was deep and large for a motel pool. The room was very clean, and we enjoyed having the full kitchen. This is a great location for folks with kids. It is  a short walk to the beach, and an easy walk to the center of town, but far enough away to feel safe and quiet. There are assigned parking spots, so you don't need to worry about fighting for a spot. The owner is the nicest woman, and remembered who we were. We are already planning next year's trip, and will definitely be booking, here!

Wonderful place!

Loved this place. The room with the kitchenette met our needs perfectly. The Sea Drift was clean, quiet, and comfortable. My grandkids never wanted to leave the pool. The walk to the beach was about two minutes. The pier was an easy walk. I will definitely stay here the next time I go to OOB.

Great place for a family!

Excellent location. Fantasic shower and super friendly management and employees. I had to find a place last minute and was lucky to find a place right next to the beach, but I also got a last-minute price, which I very much appreciate given that I travelled by myself.
