This is the second time we have stayed at Creekside Inn. We were invited to a wedding at Turning Stone Lodge and instead of paying $429 a night there, we opted for the much cheaper rate here. The rooms are beautiful with a lot given to detail and comfort. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, although not honeymooners. The large spacious room is perfect to spread out in and the large bathroom with garden tub is beautiful. We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch out on the back patio - amazing! We will continue to come back and stay here for our trips to upstate NY.

Perfect Stay!

It is so clean and cute.  This was my 4th year for our family reunion.  I wouldn’t go any place else.  All the other places are way overpriced.
I loved all the improvements. The staff is very accommodating and helpful.
I’m making my reservation for next year tomorrow.

Only place to stay

Unfortunately, we did not stay at Creekside. However, they were super understanding that our flight was cancelled due to the Microsoft outage and fully refunded us, no questions asked. This says a ton about how the inn is run because they are a smaller inn and this is not part of their policy.

I wish we got the chance to stay here but we were treated wonderfully over the phone and I know the experience there would have been just as good.

Refunded without Question

Such a beautiful little place, with 5 guests rooms, a "chef's kiss" restaurant and bar.  Rooms were spacious, updated, very clean and quiet (we didn't hear any noise from others guests or bar/restaurant).  The gardens are a wonderful place to sit and relax to enjoy the beauty!  Every staff member we encountered was gracious, helpful and friendly.  The free continental breakfast is actually open 24/7 on the second floor.  Coffee, juice, water, muffins, bagels, cream cheese, and more.... all there whenever you want it!   I cannot even force myself to spend $400+ for a room near the casino.  Just two miles away from the action and so affordable, I needed to double check the price.

Fantastic, affordable and luxurious stay

Creekside Inn appeared to be something special based on other reviews and photos, but nothing could have prepared us for how charming and well run this inn and property are.  We managed to find the door for inn guests, where access is controlled by a code, and servers quickly ushered us to the check-in desk.  We delighted in receiving a retro actual key, and the presence of web-enabled cameras throughout the property put my wife at ease.  

We stayed in the "Moon" room, and the decor was incredible, although arguably our style already.  The thoughtful touches on moon-themed art and room colors gave the room a fun, relaxed feel.  The TV was a truly modern amenity with live television offered through streaming services, but with most modern platforms allowing you to log in with a QR code, we had all the comforts of our own YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and similar accounts.  The room was spacious, but cozy, with all the other amenities we would have expected along with plenty of A/C, overhead fan, nice hot shower, etc.  Our only quibble would be the massive amount of light the skylight in the Moon room allows in; a pole-shade like the one we have for our own skylights at home is our suggestion to Inn keeper.  

We were planning to eat at the casino, but were so pleased with the room, we opted for the Inn's restaurant instead; if this is a deliberate marketing strategy, it worked a treat.  I have a wheat allergy, my wife a sesame allergy, and the waiter was delighted to accommodate us.   A meatball flight appetizer was exceptional, but the gluten-free pasta shells with blue-cheese sauce and scallops was one of the best dishes I've ever had, and not an easy flavor profile to lock-down, but this kitchen pulled it off, and it's a dish I will always remember.  Wife was delighted with her food as well.  Very excited for future offerings.

Only 2 miles away from Turning Stone Casino, staying at Creekside also got us to visit charming Oneida, where we are able to spend winnings on now much-beloved antiques from the local shop, Old & Odd, as well as local coffee shop.  Creekside was the anchor for a truly one-of-a-kind experience, and will be our #1 go-to for any future trips to Turning Stone.  Can't recommend enough.

An Absolute Gem in Central NY

This our second time staying at Creekside. Last December and this December. We upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite this year. Really enjoyed our accommodations and amenities. Only issue this year was with receptionist. Check in went well. We left to meet family and dinner off site. We came back and wanted to get a drink at the bar. The receptionist said we couldn't sit at bar because of COVID restrictions and would be a 30 minute wait. So I went bar and ordered 2 drinks to take to room. There was 1 empty chair and plenty of standing room. There was also 2 high top tables empty. Took drinks to room. 30 mins later I returned to bar for more drinks. Tables were still empty with additional chairs at bar available. Took my drinks to room. Returned for another round of drinks and bar area was empty other than one table. Took my drinks to room and called it a night. Last year we were able to sit/stand at bar no problem. Not sure what changed.
Overalll very nice stay. Just disappointed after spending over $300 for stay couldn't sit at the bar on a Thursday night


Accommodations great, bar experience not so much!

This is a very quaint, warm, inviting inn; like being in a Hallmark Christmas movie! The rooms are very clean and well kept, very generous continental breakfast nook, and delicious food! A very welcoming and warm country inn! We ate dinner at the bar and the food is excellent!

We will return again soon!

I enjoyed the stay so much more than staying a Turning Stone.  A quaint refreshing Inn with an incredible dining experience! Friendly great staff would go back again and again.  Check in was easy and rooms were small but very clean and cozy.  Everything you need to be comfortable was provided…

An exceptional dining experience and stay

We go to Creekside Inn once a month or so and have gotten to know some of the staff.  Excellent property with outstanding restaurant.  Rustic but immaculate.   Service is top notch.  Our favorite room is the Bird Room.

Outstanding place! Clean, cozy, and definitely worth the money. My husband and I were traveling for work and happened to be in Oneida needing a place to stay. This was a perfect place and to our surprise we had an amazing dinner and enjoyed drinks at the bar. All staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming as well!
