The rooms are very clean and smells great .  Their king size beds are huge and comfortable. It’s walking  distance to several restaurants. Front desk clerk was very helpful during check in . Will definitely be coming back to stay again really soon.

Great place to stay .

We stayed here for Auburn homecoming when no other place was available thinking, “well, it might not be luxurious, but it certainly will be clean.”  Nope. The place was run-down and dirty.  The room was filthy — and I am hardly a neat freak.  There was actual dirt and hair (yeah, that kind) all over the bathroom floor. No doubt It hasn’t seen a mopping in a year.  I tried to clean it a bit with a washcloth and the washcloth was brown in about three swipes.  There was stuff on the toilet seat. The floor of the shower was crusty yellow.  We chose to just drive home rather than stay there.   

I’ll throw in a positive and say the lady at the front desk was nice.

Very, very dirty room

Nice clean room, everything worked fine. Beds and covers were comfy and clean. The housekeepers were friendly and very helpful. Cheri at the front desk was quick with check in and was very polite and professional. She told us popular restaraunts in the area and we went to one she mentioned and loved it! Always great to have service like that! Will be recommending to friends when they travel to town for sports events.

Amazing staff and nice clean rooms!

If you want to stay here, I suggest writing in your reservation that you need a room with hot water, working heat or A/, and a mini fridge if you want one.

We have stayed in 3 rooms here and never had all that. First room had no mini fridge so we were moved to a room with no hot water.

Second stay, we had hot water and a mini fridge but no heat, and since the weather was in the 20's F this was not good.

Also the metal of the furniture was heavily rusted, the ironing board was filthy. And the towels had holes in them, but otherwise the rooms were nice and reasonably clean (floors could have been better.)

The Caucasian front desk lady was nice and tried to do her best. The Indians were rude on the phone, including hanging up on us for no reason as well as for a long time refusing to answer the night bell despite giving told s in advance late arrival was okay, but were all right in person.

As poor a story as this motel is, others in the area seem worse, from reviews, so I am not saying necessarily to stay away.

They like to not give you things like hot water, heat, or a minifridge

I would not recommend this place, the room is filthy, the bathroom walls were moldy, linens were stained and drapes were deplorable. Garbage on the floor-dead bugs on the wall. I was appalled. The odor is smoked filled for a non smoking room and the so called pool was so green.

The receptionist was the best thing there, she was just doing a job but couldn't be more apologetic.

The Health Department should close this place till they clean it up.

I have stayed at other Quality Inn's in IL and they were clean and neat and well cared for. 

Not Quality Inn-AL

The facility is somewhat old and needs some TLC. The room was not very clean and had issues with the sink and shower.  Repairs had been attempted, but were shoddy at best.  Not a very good value and wouldn't recommend.

Pretty grungy, even for a Hotel 6

We stayed in room 208 for one night. Absolutely disgusting. Was supposed to be a non smoking room but it didn’t smell like it. I understand it’s a budget hotel but the bathroom had mold all around the tub/shower curtain. Used soap bars lined up around the shower top. The tub faucet wouldn’t turn completely off so water ran all night. Looked like poo smeared under one of the beds. It was late when we arrived so we stayed.  I would not recommend this place at all. When I told the red eyed attendant the following morning, all she said was “so sorry”!

Do not recommend

Honestly it’s a great place for the affordable price. The front desk lady is really nice and accommodated me well. She saw I was traveling alone and asked me to call up if I needed anything. They are taking all the covid precautions so I was satisfied with that. The housekeepers are sweet and looked trustable. It’s a good location since it has a mexican restaurant right on its compound. Would definitely recommend for solo or travelers w company.

Great Stay!

The staff is very nice and house keepers are so sweet and always make sure you have everything you need. It is a good affordable room. I always enjoy my stay when I stay here it is a home away from home because the staff treats you like family.

Great service

I was scheduled to stay at Motel 6 in Opelika, however I did not stay there.    I was tired, became lost and ended-up staying at another hotel.  Although, I cancelled my reservations in a timely manner, they still went into my bank acct and took my money! 
I spoke with two different managers at Motel 6.  They blamed Booking.com and Booking.com blamed Motel 6.  Yet, I am still out of over $90.00 without receiving any services!  I would not recommend using either services.
