This particular condo should not be in ANY rental program.  I doubt it has ever been refurbished since Summer House was built in 1985.  The bedrooms are OK (bring a stepstool to climb into the bed in the master), but the living area, kitchen, and bathrooms are awful.  The furniture is soiled beyond redemption.  We had to throw a sheet over the sofa to sit on it since it was in such terrible condition.  Upholstery on dining area chairs was very soiled as well.  Evidently the owners want the rental income in spite of their lack of care for their property.  Sad!

Unit 604-A is disgusting!

Do not rent from Meyer! Terrible!  We reserved a condo in December 2020 for July 2021 at Summer House in Orange Beach AL.  Apparently that condo was damaged in the hurricane last year.  Now 10 days before we leave for our vacation they tell us the condo isn't ready so they have to move us.  We have 3 other condos booked at Summer House with grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters,cousins and friends and won't be able to enjoy our vacation with our family because we will be in another condo, in another state, away from them.  Our idea of vacation is once we arrive, we never leave.  Now, a family with 4 kids is expected to load up every morning, drive 30 minutes to see family, 
stay all day and drive 30 minutes home when we had a condo on the same property.  Worst customer service ever. The higher up we go speaking to managers the worse the customer service is. They should have never booked a condo that they weren't sure was going to be ready.  It has been the worst experience ever! On top of that we have been staying in this condo renting 3 to 4 condos from them for the last 11 years. I'm speechless. Taylor has been the worst so far. Not understanding at all. All they say is there is nothing they can do. But you had no problem taking my money in December not knowing if the unit would be ready or not right?.....

Vacation ruined!

We enjoyed taking our family to the beach after being locked up for the shut down. It was so nice to enjoy the proximity of having the condo on the actual beachfront. We made breakfast, enjoyed watching stingrays from our balcony and the condo was beautifully spacious. Kids had their own space. The refrigerator and kitchen space was so helpful to make lunches to take down to the water.

The unit was clean. That is a positive.
Negatives, 
There was no working icemaker in the unit. Give me a freaking break.  You go to the beach in June, with 3 grandchildren and there is no ice!! I believe that is a basic that should come with any unit. 
I reported it , no result. Good thing a family member went to the store and bought ice. 
There were towels and hand towels, but NO face clothes in the bathrooms, really????? 
In, 67 years, I never went to anyplace to spend the night and didn't have a facetowel. 
Noisy, due to Construction.  If you wanted to sleep late forget it.  Looked like they were in process of updating the unit which was just cosmetic.  
No manager on site, so you don't have any help. Paid way too much per night , to have to deal with these inconveniences. 
Don't use Turnkey rentals for anything

Summer House 601a was awesome!! We love an annual long weekend with our long time girls only trip. This time there were 7 of us and we loved every minute there. Plenty of beds for everyone, room at the extra large dining table plus more than enough seats on that incredible corner balcony! We didn’t want to leave!

Condo was on the Gulf with amazing views from the 11th floor. There was a wraparound bacony that was huge. 
It was less than a mile to any of 3 large supermarkets and many restaurants.
Everything was very clean. Beds were comfy.
Kitchen was spotless with all the utensils and cookware needed.
Condo hand all TV's mounted on wall with many channels to choose from. The bathrooms had hand-held showers, which come in handy after a day on the beach.
The pool was perfect with many lounge chairs. As an added bonus there is extra parking across the street for more cars or boat and trailer.

1106B Condo was Great!

Perfect location. Easy access to everything. Place was clean and balcony was huge! Easy check in/out. Gated with keypad for entry to property and for rooms. No need to keep up with a card or key!! Rental management was always available and were really friendly. 

Would Stay Here Again

Our particular condo was nice, but needed several updates.  The wall outlets were iffy at best.  We all had to share a couple to charge phones, several were so loose fitting, the plugs would just fall out.  The beds were comfortable, and sofas and chairs were very comfortable.  Kitchen was stocked well enough. The door to the balcony was so hard to open,  the women had to have help and the kids couldn't not open it at all.  We placed a call to liquid life, the managers of the property, and they said they put in a work order to come fix the door, and would call or email me the next morning.  We never heard from anyone or saw anyone at all.  That was a bit irritating.  But we were there to enjoy, so we made the best out of it.  We so enjoyed the beautiful views of the gulf from the balcony.  The last night we were there though,  the owners if the condo above us came in and had two large dogs with them.  While we were sitting on the balcony enjoying our last night,  one of the dogs pissed up there and it dripped down to our balcony.  The smell said it was dog, as well as the barking from above.  I had been sitting there with my legs propped on the railing and had just moved 2 minutes before he peed.  I would have been extremely angry had he pissed on my feet or legs!!  We did not contact anyone because it was out last night. 

Very nice beach views

There were nine of us, but never felt crowded. Very nice beds, furniture, deck chairs and view from deck was awesome. Would recommend it. We did some cooking and had pretty much everything we needed except a large skillet. Had to buy one ☹️

Great family condo

This unit was a very nicely decorated, very clean had everything we needed . This was the nicest of the 4 units we rented . Had the best view of the water and very large patio area . Short elevator ride and small walk past the pool and ur on the beach . The beach wasn’t crowded at all . Great place and very laid back environment. Close to all the attractions and Hudson marina . We loved our stay and if we return we will be booking this unit . Thanks so much for letting us share ur slice of heaven ! We didn’t spend much time in the room, we were so busy playing on the beach,pool and fishing
