They lied about cleaning the condo . Made up beds that were dirty one actually had semen in the bed with pubic hair . Cabinets falling off hinges, fridge broken , rats outside , couch was extremely dirty had to get them to clean the couch bc we couldn’t sit on it and couldn’t sit on it the rest of the trip . They never mopped ,  vacuumed. Moldy food in furniture and under . Apparently you can’t actually contact the owner … which is in direct violation of Airbnb policies. To get anything other than cleaning fee back and oh some things that they said were documented weren’t . Surprising ? No . That’s why we documented. So basically in the chance the owner sees this they probably aren’t going to know what’s exactly going on . The company Brett Robinson that has a contract with the owner will not allow you to contact or leave a message for the owner. The management I contacted  after they never contacted me said that was all they could do and the maintenance fee refund . So I after I asked to speak to the owner and was given that excuse I asked for her supervisor and was told she could only give them a message. So basically they are just out here charging you a mortgage and ruining vacations and just say you have to accept it . So at this point I will send documents to Airbnb again and reviews along with photos and 8 different reviews from each guest in detail along with posting the listing and photos of what was experienced posted to  social media warning the public of this absolute scam of a company.  I sincerely hope the owner may by chance see this and make a better decision as to what company they use to manage and think twice before listing and being in violation of Airbnb policies.

Filthy and do not rent !!!

Phoenix VI unit 6001
We stayed at phoenix VI unit 6001 7-26 thru 7/29 2024. We arrived to beds that were made but not with clean sheets. There was hair in the bed and “bodily fluids”. None of the beds had clean sheets. Dishes were all put away with food on them. Refrigerator was falling apart. Ice maker did not work. Cabinet drawers were falling apart, could not close. Couch was so filthy, they had to clean it while we were there, inconvenient. Had to get another cleaning crew in to strip beds and put on clean linens. The cleaning crew that came in to “reclean” even said it had not been cleaned. Bathrooms were not clean. Hair on the toothbrush holder. These are just the most obvious. We do have documentation. Also inconvenient because cleaning people in and out. Also having to deal with these issues took time out of our vacation. We paid almost $3000 for this condo. We did get the cleaning fee refunded but should have been more. We rented thru air bnb but Brett Robinson would not let us contact the owner so they could be made aware of these issues. If I was the owner I would want to know. This could have been a great condo if it was maintained properly and cleaned.

Nasty condo Phoenix VI unit 6001.

We had a two-bedroom accommodation, and it was comfortable for seven people.  It provides pretty much what you need and the kitchen was well stocked.  The swimming pool is large, and it was never too crowded.  The beach was just a five-minute walk away.  The beach was clean, however it is not flat like the beaches here in Texas.  You may want to bring your own chairs and large umbrellas, as the rentals are quite pricey.  There are a lot of good restaurants not too far away, or in Foley.  The cost was high, but we were probably in their peak season.  

Good accommodations near the beach

We loved our stay at the Phoenix VI. The views were spectacular. The condo had every amenity we wanted and more. Easy Beach access, chair service available, indoor & outdoor pools, fitness room & sauna, vending machines, bathrooms on the beach level (nice ones too), and racquetball.  Very clean. Great for families or couples. We will be back!

Great Orange Beach Condo

We came here on Vacation that we all needed. Place was nice but don’t expect to get any rest. I understand they have work to do but they started their construction on unit above us at 8:30 am and continue all day for 3 days. So loud people from the beach were looking up and pointing.  If you are looking for relaxation definitely look elsewhere. Extremely disappointed in our stay. We won’t be back.

Vacation

We were owners in this complex for 5 years, so we know some of the staff, who are friendly and hard workers (that's why we came back, as guests). Unit 602 is a 1 BR, 1BA on the beach. Sadly, it was not well-maintained (unpainted patched walls), did not have a Keurig coffee maker, and when the dishwasher failed on the second day, we were told it would be replaced before we left after 7 days. That never happened. So, we ended up washing all the dishes by hand. At $300/nt. I was hoping for a more relaxing vacation, and some kind of rebate.

SLOW TO RESPOND

Fantastic Gulf location!!! The condo we rented was a 2/2 and had a gulf view, as I understand all condos there do. The security team into the building is very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is lit well and although at times the lot is busy, there was always a parking space open. Nice tennis courts. We did not utilize the racquetball ball court or sauna, we’re not much of planners in aspects for those amenities so we passed having to reserve a time to utilize them. The heated indoor pool is nice as well as the hot tubs, both clean. The outdoor pool is large. We appreciated the many beach hoses on the walkway to accumulate many families who wanted to rinse off their feet and/or beach gear. Phoenix VI has a large span of powder white beach space. We did not utilize the rental service for chairs, umbrellas, etc as we packed our own. We also brought sand toys, boogie board and volleyball although there is a few souvenir shops close by to purchase these from. A car or willingness to Uber to get around is helpful in Orange Beach unlike other beach destinations, no matter where you stay. There are 4 elevators, we did experience a longer than acceptable wait one sunny afternoon where there was a lot of activity at the condo resort. Parking is steep, too expensive at $55 for the length of your stay, this is paid to the main buildings management company regardless of whose condo you rent. The front desk staff is polite and I enjoyed a friendly, brief convo with the maintenance personnel while out at the outdoor pool one afternoon. I would recommend the building itself, each unit however may have a different owner/rental management company and there may be where each cleanliness factor/amenities varies.

Great Gulf location

We stayed in this unit in late September 2021.  To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.  I only wish I had read a review from 2017 before we booked this unit.  Based on that review, it appears nothing has changed since then.  The unit was very old - might be the original furniture and carpet.  My socks would be dirty after walking around.  There was rust all along the side of the refrigerator.  There was mold in the shower.  The washing machine desperately needs to be replaced.  Not only was it incredibly loud, but there were black stains (probably oil/grease that leaked) on our clothes after they were washed. The microwave was broken, so another one was on the counter.  There was very little flatware (only 2 knives), no sheet pan for baking, and other kitchen dishes, etc. were low and mis-matched.  TVs were old (not that we needed them much).   I could go on, but I think you get the idea.  Just so you know, I never write bad reviews.  I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was just too bad to not let others know.  We have used Brett Robinson and stayed at Phoenix properties in past years and have had good experiences.  Not this time.  Although the pictures for this rental did not look "great", they definitely oversold it.

Phoenix VI, Unit 6607 - would not recommend

We rented a unit at this location for a few days. While the unit is owned and managed by an outside company, we found that the condominium as a whole was very nice. Facilities are well-maintained and very clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and very helpful for us. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool option on a rainy day, and loved the easy beach access. 
The location is good, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. 
We were so pleased, we would like to return to this exact unit in the future.

Excellent place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Phoenix VI room 1107 for a week. First the good. Location was great very near lots of nice eating places. Staff was friendly. Pool was good. Views were amazing. Short walk to the beach. Weight room had plenty of newer equipment. It had a sauna but we never used it.  King size bed was comfortable. 
And the not so good.  The one bedroom we stayed in was dated. Rust on the side of the refrigerator, the caulking around the tub was black, I’m assuming mold.  Upon first arriving, the floor had sand on it. I know it’s the beach so some is expected, but not this much. When Walking around in your sock feet, the bottoms of your socks would be dirty. It was obvious it was not swept or mopped before we arrived.  No matter what setting you set for the refrigerator, it would freeze items on the top shelf.  
The lobby and elevators had plenty of hand sanitizing dispensers but toward the end of the week they were always empty. 
I’m not saying I wouldn’t stay here again, but I would look for somewhere else first.
