The older man, presumably the owner by the way he spoke with me, swiped my credit card and wanted me to sign it. I argued with him that the room was already paid by a third party. He insisted saying I wouldn't be charged twice. When I also insisted to know why i was signing the credit card receipt, he said in a frustrated tone, "in case you don't stay". I didn't now what he meant until I signed the receipt and got to the room. The room was very small, barely large enough to fit the double bed. There were stains on the bed covering and the sheets looked like they were older; everything looked very old. We didn't stay there and if we had, we wouldn't have taken a shower in that bathroom. This place needs a major infusion of cash to bring it up to date.

We paid but never stayed

My friend and I stayed here for the Bills game and have nothing but good things to say. The room was recently renovated and very clean. The location can't be beat for the game. There are two bars and a gas station and a Tim Horton's in walking distance. There was a decent tailgate happening in the parking lot too. Some of the previous reviews had us reconsidering our decision to stay here, but one minute after arriving we were like, this is great! Yes, it's a 2-star hotel. That means no frills. But it did have a fridge, microwave and cable TV. All good in my books.

Great spot for a Bills Game weekend

As I pulled into the parking lot, my family witnessed a couple having sex in a car not more than 50 feet from the office. Two drunk men staggered across the parking lot with half-finished six packs in their hands.

The manager had me booked in a smoking room. I told him I could not stay in a smoking room because I have a medical respiratory condition. He stated mine was the last room and refused to refund my  pre-paid room fee.

While I was arguing with him, the phone rang.  He asked me to wait (!!). While I stood there, he literally re-sold the very room I just canceled.  Wow.

I tried to resolve this through Hotels.com, where I booked the reservation, They were of no help, stating a no-refund cancellation policy - even if the owner was committing fraud. Poor customer service - especially for such an unsafe property.

Do not stay here unless you are a 20-something looking for a motel at which you can party.

Simply Awful

This place is the worst. We chose it because it was so close to New Era Field, to be fair we weren’t expecting much but knew we wouldn’t be in the room much anyways. 

Our room was filthy with a really strong mouldy/Smokey smell. 

When I complained to the owner about how unclean our room was and showed him the photos posted here he did offer us another room after some haggling, however when we looked at it it was equally as disgusting as our original room with an even stronger smell. When I went back to tell him we expected our room to be cleaned or to have a portion of our stay refunded he told me to “get the f*ck out” and told me  to call the police while accusing me of threatening him. Was I mad and causing a bit of a scene - yes. Was I in any way threatening him - no. 

Everyone we spoke with at the game that was local new of this place and said there was no way they would ever stay here. 

Our door didn’t have a proper lock, our tv didn’t work properly, our toilet ran all night long. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room, dust and visible mould in the bathroom and on the ceiling and I’m sure we were breathing in extremely unhealthy air based on the smell.

If you are going to a Bills game from out of town stay downtown Buffalo and either get an Uber/cab to the game or have a designated driver. The hotel will cost you about the same and the Uber price will be worth it to stay somewhere clean.

Don’t stay here.

I'm not sure why there are so many awful reviews. Sure, it's not the Ritz, but our room was clean, comfortable and appeared to have been renovated in the not too distant past, including the carpet. It's a one floor hotel, so I don't see how the floor could cave in, as suggested in another review.

Our check-in was smooth and friendly, having pre-paid through Expedia, and there were no difficulties with extra charges in any way.

We were there for a Buffalo Bills game, and the location could not be more convenient. We were able to walk to the stadium in just a few minutes. There was a nice little tailgating scene in the hotel parking lot, as well, with friendly locals.

If I had to pick something to complain about, it would be noise issues. The A/C was noisy and the walls are fairly thin, but we weren't particularly bothered by either issue and got a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. Bottom line -- we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect for game night!

I have not stayed there but was charged for my visit and am seeking a lawyer to get my money back i would never recommend this hotel to anyone .They are a ripoff i was very disappointed .How can they charge someone when they have not stayed there

No visit

This is worst Hotel/Motel we ever saw. We did payment thru phone. We checked and told receptionist about prepayment. we got call at 1.30 AM in night from front desk. Front desk person ask me come to front desk and do right a way payment. They did not process phone payment. Strange. I argued and told them they could have called us in morning to do payment. Manager asked us to leave if we do not do payment right away.  It was not out mistake that they did not process payment done over phone. Call Guest at 1.30 AM in night for payment is rude. Please, please do not stay here.  Owner/Manager stay with family in same motel.

the floor was about to cave in! it calls for a sleepless night and it was very un clean! im not a picky person but this was bad if I would have known I would have slept in my clean truck! don't go here if u have Morales or common sense! my whole family was ley down! we drove 9 hours to get that? they should shut down and rebuild with new management ! and the tv was bad u cant even see whats on u have to guess!!!

i was scared for my life!

This room was disgusting!  The floor felt like it was going to cave in, there were spiders and cobwebs everywhere and the room was filthy and smelled disgusting!  The door keys would not work and I had to make a trip back to the office 3 times before they could be activated properly!  Also the toilet ran all night long!  I was afraid to touch the bed or carpet.  I asked for another room and was told no even though the sign said Vacancy!  The location was good for it's proximity to New Era Field, however you must check out by 9:00 am on Sundays.  We found this out when we arrived and there was a sign taped to the door.  I will not be back!  I paid a premium price for the worst room I ever stayed in at a hotel!

Stay away!

My wife and myself made our reservation for today and tomorrow 8-15 and 8-16-2017 in February for the Guns and Roses Concert at New Era Field right across the street and up a block tomorrow night.   The manager Nick  Patel  was very happy and pleasant checking us in and honestly could not have been more helpful with places in the area to eat and giving us extra coffee for our room.  Thank you Mr. Patel and your staff for making our stay enjoyable!   Glenn E. Harvey
