I'm grateful the place was available for a good price. The first room we got was right next to(door connected room) loud people and a barking dog, so we requested a refund. They offered the upstairs room, which we initially declined, but graciously came back around and took them up on offer. They legit got mad at us. We have been travelling, so sleeping in a bed was great. They were very very rude at check out time repeatedly knocking and calling us as we were packing up. They were busy cleaning the other rooms at this point, there was no one else in the hotel. They could have been a little sweeter instead of rude and forceful.. there were dirty socks and food under the bed when we got there, when I told the rude woman that they were not ours, she said "dont lie, you havw a lot of stuff ". Cool..cool. I just don't understand why you have to be so rude to people, who paid you money to rest and unwind for a moment.

If you just want to come I may head down it’s ok except for fact no ac room is scorching hot!!! They definitely won’t let you check in even 15 minutes early room was not fully cleaned. There sup to be pet friendly but non place for your pets to potty except an extremely dirty area behind hotel. Just wasn’t to pleased but I guess u get what u pay for! Employees were not nice or friendly at all either probably worst place we have stayed in long time

Don’t waste your time

Just needed a place to stay for the night while traveling. Stayed in a pet room. Pet fee $20. Room very clean, smelled clean,, vinyl flooring. Bed comfortable, everything in good working order. Flat-screen  TV. Fridge +microwave in room. No coffee in room ,but they have coffee in office @7 am. This is an inexpensive, clean place to stay.

Good value

Stayed 2 night in a no smoking king room. Very clean basic room. Comfortable bed.fridge,microwave ,light by bed had plug in for phone charger. This hotel has no amenities but perfect if traveling or resting at end of day. Knowing most hotels on Oregon coast do not have AC, I travel with a fan. In reading other reviews that mention traffic noise my fan (white noise ) blocked traffic noise out. I slept very well. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in this area.

Great value

The first thing I would tell folks who stay here at the Villa West is, "Get over yourself!" If you were paying $700/night at the Waldorf Astoria it would be a different story. The Villa West is a good, budget hotel run by some very nice people! Yes, the rooms are dated and funky, but they were clean and budget friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Yes, there is road noise from the traffic. Why wouldn't there be? You're at the intersection of Hwys. 101 and 126! The Villa West is in a great location and offers budget pricing. Well worth every penny!

Great price for a basic night's sleep

Was worried about staying here with all the negative reviews especially on cleanliness, but it was the last room available in the area for a stopover.  Room (#23) was absolutely fine.  Clean bed, bathroom and room, plentiful space for 2.  Bed was comfortable.  Didn’t smell of smoke, and not very noise at night given it’s on a busy road.  Only complaints were carpet was a little worn with a couple of stains (to be expected for a budget motel), the hairdryer didn’t work (I had my own), and the reception lobby was pretty smelly. More than happy for a one night stopover.

Absolutely ok

Okay well besides the spider  smashed in the picture on the wall inside the frame and the pubic hair and when you pulled the bedding back that's in the sheets oh and the mold on the bottom of the shower door oh and the poop or blood that was splattered on the sink and the cord of the blow dryer and poop smear possibly poop smear something looking like that on the door oh and then the heat are not working and then having the staff member tell me on the phone that she would have it fixed in the morning so I guess we're supposed to freeze all night and she was being extremely rude acting like it was our fault coming in here with no mask on not  giving a hell about anybody safety acting like she came in here with a screwdriver and fixed it and then said that we only had to turn it on and off off and on like we didn't try that like we're idiots can't get your money back. The towel rack just fell off the wall he didn't even touch it and avoiding touching poop stained towels too also phone cord falling apart and rat holes on the wall

Nightmare for sure.

Located at the intersection of Oregon Coast Hwy (101)  and Florence-Eugene Hwy (126). Very easy to find coming into Florence from any direction. Pretty much in the middle of town. There is a Shell gas station right next door and a 7-11 across the street (one of the side streets, little to no traffic). Within walking distance (under 5 mins) there is a Thai, Mexican, and Chinese restaurant. There is a grocery and liquor store within walking distance. 
Parking lot is decent, and within close walking distance to all of the rooms. Room is small but sufficient for our needs. Room amenities include: alarm-clock, microwave, mini-fridge, hanger pole with few hangers provided, 32” Samsung TV, small table with 2-chairs, queen bed. 
Wifi was good and worked with all of our devices (we were right next to the office, some rooms are significantly further away that may degrade signal). TV channels all worked well. Staff is very friendly.  
Caveats: 
Not many plugins. If you are needing to charge multiple devices you will need to spread out stuff across the room, or bring your own power strip. You can hear your neighbors through the joining door in the room. The sound is muffled and wasn’t a deal breaker but you can clearly hear people talking. One of the pillow cases (although clean) had a small light brown stain that was clearly visible. Right next to two of the loudest roads in town. Lots of loud inconsiderate vehicles passing by. 
None of the caveats were significant enough to complain or protest about. For the price this is a decent hotel with a great location. I would stay here again passing through the area.

Good Cheap Sleep

We planned for our getaway late and so there were only two hotels to choose from when we booked.  Room was super small, decor outdated, nothing matched, patching on the walls,  even the shampoo and conditioner packets were cheap one time use ones.   It's located right off 101 and I was prepared for the noise but not for music being played loud all night long.  Would only recommend as a last resort.

One night late planning only available hotel 

Room is clean, bed comfortable, mini fridge surprisingly roomy, windows *mostly* block noise from the busy intersection 50 feet away (only when closed), shower is hot and good pressure, but if you need to work while you're here, the Wi-Fi may be a problem. I'm on Windows 10 and it *really* does not like this network. My laptop repeatedly warns me the network security standard is outdated, browsing often slows to a crawl (despite a speed test of 11 Mbps), and the connection drops frequently. Google Docs works OK but don't even think of doing anything heavy bandwidth. My wife's Mac doesn't notice a problem, however, and the phones (Apple and Android) seem to handle it fine.
