The place safe clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. We didn’t use the pool but it was clean. We felt safe on the property. The parking lot was well lit with lots of lights. 

Can’t go wrong with Motel 6

Very horrible smell in the room 
Roaches everywhere even on the bed 
Dirty sheets on bed 
The shower barely work 
And the old raggity guy on the front desk was awfully rude
I wouldn’t recommend it to nobody especially on a family vacation 
Might look ok in pictures but definitely not worth it

Regretfully

I stay it was quite nice I had to change rooms due to not having channel that was posted in the room. They agree to let me change rooms had my channels. My only issue sometimes you see homeless people roaming around looking. One even asks could she stay with me since she could not afford any other place. My answer was no. Just be careful saw police only once. It would be better if this hotel hire security.

Will admit this was my first time staying at q Motel 6 and it was AWESOME, great location right off of interstate,  wendys right across from it, comfortable and SAFE!!

STAFF IS THE BEST and again SAFE

Motel 6 WOW ME

The room was clean, but no hot water in the shower. It's not in the best area, but was close to the amphitheater, so for a clean room to sleep in after a concert, it worked out well. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

It worked

I booked a room here after my wife's flight was cancelled and I needed a room for the night. Was surprised that a basic room was $115 a night plus a $60 deposit but I was exhausted and was only going to be there overnight. When I opened the door the stench of cigarette smoke was overwhelming (by morning my nose and throat were sore from cigarette smell). I hadn't asked for a smoking room but I figured I tough it out. The room was terrible. The first thing I noticed was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector (I'm SURE that is a health and safety violation). The floors were dirty. Linens and towels were stained. Cigarette burns all over the bathtub. Toilet was less than clean. Chewing gum stuck to the shower surround. The trash can by the door had greasy gunk caked in the bottom. The light and towel bar in the bathroom were broken.The walls were all scuffed and dirty and the room was generally not in great shape.. No coffee maker. The parking lot had seedy looking characters milling around. Did NOT feel safe there! The gentleman at the office was pleasant enough and the water was hot but that's all I can say nice about this place. Couldn't wait for sunrise so I could leave!! Complained to Motel  6 customer service and received NO RESPONSE!! Will never stay at a Motel 6 AGAIN!!

Horrible!

I booked the room a week or so in advance. I picked one of the handicap access rooms in case my mom came too. I should’ve known to ask for refund when I had to ask for clean sheets. There was some empty food wrapper behind the door when I walked in. The sheets were old/worn and stained. There were no ammenties soap or anything. Didn’t look like anyone had swept or mopped. The towels looked brown/dingy. I do believe if you stay there, don’t get in the separate building from the main office, my opinion! There was no phone in the room to call front desk, so I went to main office to get new sheets. The staff was very nice, she brought me a set of clean bedding. I was able to change the sheets, pillow cases, blanket and bed spread.

This motel is the one we use everytime we are in the area, they always have some room available when we show up. They’re always extremely nice and the motel rooms are nice and clean. We will always use them when we are in the Tampa area. We highly recommend!

Great motel and great price.

I often stay at Motel 6 when all I need is clean, comfortable, basic accommodations - a place for sleeping and nothing more.  So I don't expect much more than a basic accommodations.   

This property seemed bare by even Motel 6 standards, and even though there had been some obvious upgrades, the room still seemed to be drab, threadbare, and a bit run down.  The room was very clean, however, and everything in the room did work.  

The motel has a deposit requirement whereby all guests, even those paying by debit or credit card, need to leave a deposit of $60, which is charged to their card in addition to their room charges.  While this is refundable after check-out, I can't hep but wonder why the hotel requires this, as my experience suggests that such policies often suggest that the property may attract some questionable clientele.  Havng said that, I did not experience anything at the hotel that made me feel unsafe, nor did I witness any questionable behavior, but the idea that the hotel would actually take a deposit from a credit card customer in addition to room payment, rather than using the card as a backstop, concerns me.  This alone is a disqualifier for me staying at this property in the future, when there are so many other similarly-priced motels in the greater Tampa area. 

Front desk staff were cordial and friendly, which I appreciated.  

Bottom line - I'll stay elsewhere the next time I'm in Tampa.

Very, Very Basic - Even for Motel 6.  Unfavorable Deposit Policy.

i stayed at room 252 , shady looking people hanging around! the room had a hole in the wall, the frig didn't work, the bedspread on one of the beds had a big stain on it, looks like dried blood! the pool was closed. no coffee nothing! terrible, and then the area you had to stand in to talk to the clerk was like a sauna! and $60 deposit was never mentioned again! $89 with all fees it was $102 never staying at motel 6 again! tv was very small!
