terrible place to stay. very run down and very dark and shady area. it's a cheaper rate for a reason. From the highway it looks abandoned there is no lights,weeds everywhere fence rotted and falling down, pool looks like it hasn't been open in 20 yrrs.

Find a better place 

Nasty dirty shower curtain....... cockroaches running around all over the walls......curtains were all torn on the windows.....potholes all over the parking lot....no coffee pot..... microwave was filthy....smoking room but no ash tray.....must I go on?!

Absolutely awful

We KNEW as soon as we pulled in parking lot it was going to be BAD. EVERYTHING RUN DOWN & BROKEN. Front office looked like a carpenters closet with lumber & trash all over. Grounds not taken care of for years. Steps to second floor where we stayed LOOSE & MOVING. We get to room to get ready for wedding event we were hired to play in area and NO WATER. Thats right. NO WATER.  So NO shower, brushing teeth or using the toilet after being on the road for 3 hours. Bed was AWFUL. We would not even leave our belongings in room as locks were broke & top one wasn't even secured in door and you could PUSH the door in with bottom lock engaged. And the pool was a green pit of decay. They have fake pictures on their website WHICH IS FRAUD. UNSAFE CONDITIONS ALL AROUND. AVOID THIS PLACE.

WELFARE MOTEL. UNSAFE. AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is an older motel, but has obviously been upgraded recently. We stayed for one night in room 215 which was located in a section of the motel that was only one story so we did not have noise from an overhead neighbor. There were other sections of the motel that were two stories. Our room was on the side away from the freeway so we didn’t have any vehicle noise and enjoyed a restful sleep on our firm, but comfortable bed. We noticed a faint cigarette smoke smell when we first arrived, even though at check in we were told that there was absolutely no smoking allowed in the rooms. The bathroom featured no bathtub, but instead a large shower with new tile, high showerhead and a curved shower curtain rod which has become quite popular. The sink, faucet and vanity also all appeared to be new. The room had both a mini refrigerator and microwave, but we didn’t use either of them. We didn’t have any shampoo in the room, but the front desk gave us a half-empty bottle when we asked for some. The attached cafe did not appear to be open during our stay.

Affordable place to stay

My son and I spent the weekend watching NASCAR and the closest hotel we could find was this one, when I went into the office and seen it’s condition with the outside I seriously considered sleeping in the car.  The owner was very friendly and when we entered the room it was excellent.  New beds, flooring, walls, everything was just like you’d find in the more expensive ones in KC.   Anymore trips to KC for the weekend my stay will be at the Landmark.  

Don’t let exterior scare you

Don't let the building or office turn you off. Great rooms. New beds and refurbished bathrooms. Great place to get a good night rest and take a shower. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Friendly staff.

Great rooms

I,m staying here for work and have been here for 30 days. When I first got here things were not what I expected, did get a new bed about 20 days in to my stay, The resturant opened this past Monday and I was their first Customer. The owner did finally move all the extra beds from the middle of the hallway

Extended Stay

This hotel is not well maintained and apparently has one person running it and caring for it. This foreigner (as it seems all hotel owners are anymore) does not honor online reservations. I booked this online with price line for $ 46.77 and when I got there he would not accept that and stated that he never rents a room on weekends for that price. I desperately needed a place to stay and eventually agreed upon paying  $ 55.00 , this is a smoking and non smoking hotel but as I was sitting outside of my room having a cigarette with my coffee in the morning the owner advised me that I needed to go all the way out in the  parking lot to smoke. The postings on there site are not current and the restaurant that the reviews on there site discuss seems to be a fixture that is not an actual restaurant at all. The owner is so cheap that the pool is covered at all times and the guest lobby if that's what it was has  no air conditioning in it and he just keeps the doors open to let the flies in ,smells horrible and would not recommend this place to anyone EVER.

Needs new owner

I'm glad I had to stay just one night there. The place didn't smell good, my big worried was the bed, I pulled the comforter out to check and first there was a spider then it got worse bc I found two more bugs that I don't even know how to describe it, they look like small Cockroaches. Not a good experience for someone like me, specially bc Im planning to be a hotel manager.
