The staff was amazing my room was so clean and the AC was nice thank you Packwood Inn for the amazing stay the view was amazing and i saw elk in the backyard it was so peaceful to lay in the hammocks!

Amazing!

We stayed two nights at this hotel in July 2021. The hotel is an older facility but the room was clean and with the exception of a minor issue with the TV which was promptly repair everything was in working condition. The staff were helpful and friendly. They have no breakfast but do have coffee in the reception area. The WiFi was very good. The location is in the middle of town. There is a grocery store next door on one side and a restaurant on the other side. We found the room quite. We thought the price was a little high but it is tourist season.

Nice Stay in Packwood

The new owners are really nice people they will make you fell at home very accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. They even baked me a apple pie personally . Never been treated so nicely at a hotel as this one will recommend to friends and family

I stayed one night at Packwood Inn and it was awesome. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and rooms were clean despite the tropical climate of Packwood,WA. The bed (memory foam mattress) was the best bed I have ever slept on and was better than my mattress at home. Restrooms were modern and rooms had a microwave and refrigerator. Please IGNORE the bad reviews, as they mean nothing as ownership has changed and is a great location with great price. I love Packwood Inn!!

Awesome Inn! Ignore the Bad Reviews.

New ownership has turned this place around!  Centrally located in Packwood next to Cruisers Pizza and across the street from the Blue Spruce.  Kids loves the indoor pool, staff was very hospitable, rooms were clean and comfortable. 

White pass ski trip

Clean and good size room. Hot water too lol ( had pleasure of not having any at different place before) All we wanted after few days hike. Toiletries available. 
Friendly staff.
Air conditioning not great but wasn’t too hot on the day so not a big issue for us.

Good stay

Not sure what the last reviewer was thinking. I have definitely stayed in many worse places, perhaps they’ve never stayed in a motel. Totally different level than a hotel as we know. So about this one: It’s a fine motel. It’s an old road side motel. Checkin was pleasant. Refrigerator and coffee pot inside. Separate closet. 

I deducted a star only because of the interior wear after the 2018 interior remodel. Skiers are tough on rooms IMHO. Nothing too serious but it has that older roadside motel feel to the interior, even with three year old furnishings. I’ll be back if I’m back in packwood. Two restaurant/ and a bar with food are within 300 feet and the town’s IGA grocery store is next door. That’s super convenient.

A fine motel, but a motel it is.

Our family made a trip to Packwood as we were going snowboarding the next day at White Pass. Here is a breakdown of the Inn and my stay: 
1) They allow pets for a $25 fee
2) They have an indoor pool (6ft on one end) although it was a bit too chilly to stay in it very long. Thermostat on the wall said 64 degrees (don't know if that mean in or out of the pool). 
3) Hairdryers are available at the front desk. They do not have a roll-away bed if needed but do offer use of a blow up twin mattress. 
4) Location is in the heart of downtown; you can walk to anything. Grocery store is right next door as well as several restaurants. 
5) My bed was comfortable (was in #3) but my moms wasn't (#2).. her mattress was lumpy. 
6) Mini fridge and 32 inch flat screes TV's are in the rooms. 
7) My bathroom sink was leaking (only when faucet was on) but unfortunately I didn't notice that until I was completely unpacked. The front desk did offer to move me to another room but I declined as the family wanted to be next to each other (and again, I was unpacked). I just put a trash can under it and it was doable. 
All in all a good place to stay. We will be back.

Convenient location, reasonably priced

Simple, clean, comfortable bed. they were friendly over the phone for reservations, and in the office for check-in and check-out, and happily supplied two special requests. Recommend The Mountain Goat for breakfast.

Simple, Clean

We decided to stay in the Packwood area last minute so we could spend an extra day in Mount Rainier National Park. The town is so close to the park entrance, so it's definitely a great choice for exploring the park. I booked on Priceline at around 10:20pm while we ate dinner at the bar across the street. Be advised that their front desk closes at 10pm because it's a small town. I received a phone call right after booking from the front desk girl who had told me she had gone home for the night but would come back and get us checked in. Friendly service from her, and I felt really bad for not knowing when the front desk closed. She upgraded our room for the trouble and it was super basic accommodations but it was clean! This is an older property with that rustic charm. If you're looking for full service, this isn't it. It was perfect for us, as we were leaving at 6am to head back into the park. We had a kitchen in our room which would work great for people looking to cook their meals! The grocery store is basically right across the street. I would stay here again for sure next time I'm in the area.
