There are a few fancier (as well as less fancy) options to stay in the area, but this place was just about right for us for a one-night stay after doing outdoor things nearby. Staff was great, and the room was nice and clean and quiet, and equipped with all the basics. Also, free popcorn in the lobby!

The hotel is immaculate and the front desk manager is friendly and helpful. We left behind my husband's backpack and the manager, on her day off, mailed it to us! We definitely recommend this as a clean, great place to stay the night.

Great location and accomadation.

We were fortunate to find this place late in the day. Just a short drive into town and then to Mt. Rainier National Park the next day. Not fancy at all but clean, comfortable with a very friendly staff member at check in. Plus, a herd of elk nearby. Would recommend to family and friends. 

A wonderful find south of Mt. Rainier

The CREST TRAIL. is no where close to anything I would usually stay in, but in packwood none of the places are.  That being said if you must,,,our room was clean, if a bit musty and the window air conditioner was musty. If you want to be really close the tiny bathtub is 4 inches from the toilet.  The shinning light was the receptionist named Jenny.  She was delightful in every way.

Slim pickins

Everything was organised well and all on time. The conference room was clean and the food was amazing! I definately recommend Cresta Sango Conference centre!!!! Pride will help you out all! So so so reliable and bless him 😀

Amazing

Awful customer service. Charged a rate inclusive of breakfast then scrapped it but won’t give any refund even though not providing it. Think they are shutting down but still taking bookings and no longer responding to any contact.                         Avoid them

Awful customer service

First of all, it’s a strange place with no amenities and your sink is in your room literally. It does have a fridge and microwave, but it is cramped. The problem?
I got the two queen in the picture for two nights. 513.86. Plus my five pound dachsund went to room before going to her car bed for the night and they accused me of trying to pull one on them by hiding a dog. So I said I’d leave. They replied “ we added a 150 charge on your card’  So it was was neatly 700 for a dog eared old motel that doesn’t even provide the cocktail hour they advertise on the website. I told her I’d never be back. Manager responded “ I wouldn’t either”. Kinda the whole attitude, not a charming bunch. Their is a path behind the lodge, but be wary, they do not want hotel guests walking it and make it very clear it is private property. We were attending a wedding, so we needed a place to stay; but never again!

Horrid

I have other reviews here and my opinion remains the same.   The managers here have been great and make a big difference.   Becky normally runs the place but when I was there Jessica covered for her vacation; both are great to chat with and extremely helpful.  Breakfast was being served while I was there but...  the place is under new ownership and apparently they are already closing down the breakfast (without shaving the price, of course).   This is a bummer, as you have few options in town for a quick bite if you want to hit the road/trail early.  I also understand that the new owners are raising prices, which is unfortunate, as it was already getting on the pricey side (the online booking hasn't been working this week since I got back, so I can't confirm that).  The area is really quiet at night, despite being close to the highway, but the walls are a bit thin.   I bring food I can microwave and there is a decent grocery store in town if you need.  I've been coming here for at least 6 years and I hope I can continue as the staff is great, but I am concerned that the changes may make it less appealing.  The rooms don't get cleaned unless you ask, but you can get anything you need just by asking.

I come here every year, but wonder about new owners

I stayed here for 1 night after hiking near Randle with plans to hike in Mt. Rainier the next day, great choice!  The room was very clean and had a comfy bed with many comfy pillows. I was upstairs along the back side so I didn't  hear any road noise, I had a very quiet comfortable night. I really can't comment on the breakfast as I don't eat much before I hike and I had my own fruit and granola but it smelled good!  
  I must say Becky, the front staff gal who I believe runs this place, is awesome! She sure can multi-task, she is there early and she stays late. She is friendly and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. She was helpful telling me about a few hikes I hadn't heard about and gave me her recommendations for a great burger place. She is such an asset to this place, she was friendly and smiling at night after a long work day and there she was early in the morning, still with a smile on her face!  I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.

Clean, Comfy, Convenient Location

Just a regular motel, no better nor worse. Breakfast is very good and rooms are clean, even if furnitured would need a refresh. I was  very disappiinted  by rhe factwe did notour room cleaned because we did not hang the sign out of the door. Since then we have to hang the sign out ifwe want to have the room cleaned????i never read those signs hanging over the doors, they should have adviced at check-in
