Grumpy check in clerk.  Was there an hour before check-in and they acted like it was a major hassle for them.  Toilet seat in room was gross and broken.  $20 could of fixed it.  The complimentary breakfast sucked.  Very limited choices.  Disappointing

Disappointing

I reserved a room through booking.com for my sister because she had no service on her road trip.  I specifically selected that I was booking this room for her and listed her name.  When my sister checked in they made her pay for the room again.  When I called to explain the situation the front desk guy was extremely rude and told me I didn’t check in…what??? I booked the room for my sister  she even called and spoke with the red head guy  at the front desk before she arrived and he assured her that everything was in order.  The front desk guy working on the morning of the 26th threatened to call the cops on my sister when she inquired about getting our refund!!! Never again! Also false advertising they listed a room with a king, queen and a pullout. When they got there there was 2 queens that’s it.

This is an older property that could definitely use some updating. I feel they could do better with the breakfast selection. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Do be careful getting into the hot tub as there is no step and the seat is 3 feet from the edge.

Clean, friendly, quiet.  Go for the king/queen/sofa bed room.  Just a few extra bucks and it's like having two rooms in one.  Check in was easy.  Everyone was very friendly.   Even let us have a later check out while we waited on car repairs.  Breakfast is limited but works.

Hidden gem

Got stuck in a Pagosa Springs snowstorm so overnighted here. Usual room and breakfast, dog friendly with gorgeous views in snowy March. Staff made wonderful recommendations for supper and was super friendly.  Definitely would recommend.

check in was uneventful, room was fair, pool was packed with kjds so we did not use.  We did ask for a quiet room but were put on the street side right outside the entrance to the pool so it did not quiet down until later.

not wirth the price

We stayed here as a one night stop over on vacation. The reception area is very dark and very cluttered. We asked for a ground floor which the manager on duty was great about and had no problem with. The room was very dated but ok. The beds were hard and the linen was worn thin in places. At about 10pm we heard a women screaming 'he's raping me and going to kill me' her partner was yelling at her to shutup. I called the front desk and told them to call the police. The manager came and calmed them down but did not call the police. About an hour later there was more screaming and yelling. This time the manager had one of them leave. Very difficult to sleep after that. Will never go back!

Uncomfortable and Scary!

This is a pretty good budget motel in the uptown section of Pagosa. Near lots of dining options as well as banks and groceries. My room had a fridge and microwave and the facility had a pool, hot tub, and outdoor patio and gazebo. During Covid, no breakfast. But if you ask, the desk clerk will set you up with coffee, cream, and a packet of muffins. The access is on the frontage road to the 160 about 4 miles from the downtown.

Good Budget Choice

We were here one night during a recent vacation. Check in was quick and our room was large, comfortable and clean. Due to Covid-19, breakfast was packaged foods. The area behind the motel for smokers was large and well appointed. Convenient location right on Hwy 160 but our room was quiet.  Would stay here again when in the area.

Nice One Night Stay

This place is decent with a basic breakfast (with delicious waffles!), nice courtyard, and is pet-friendly. Full disclosure: the beds are uncomfortable. Period. There was just a sheet and thin blanket; had to ask front desk for a comforter in the middle of the night which was odd because it was winter time! We were looking forward to the pool and hot tub only to find it doesn’t even open until 3pm so we couldn’t use it because check out was at 11am! It would have been nice to soak my body in the morning after that terrible-nights sleep. I recommend investing an extra $20 in a place with better value. Front desk staff seems pretty unhappy, though they are accommodating. They were kind enough to give a small discount for the poor nights sleep we had.
