Jim & Odilia are wonderful hosts. We’ve stayed here at least once each of the last 3-4 years. The setting and location are great and the rooms are very comfortable. The included breakfasts are so good. Happy hour each day is so relaxing. Elkwood Manor is a great place to stay while exploring the shopping, springs, dining and outdoors in Pagosa Springs and surrounding area.

We thought this majestic property was just a wedding, party venue.
Nope.
It is often rented out for events, but LUCKY US, not always. 
Exhausted from too much fun visiting family and friends we were praying for peace and quiet in Pagosa Springs AWAY from the downtown crowds. 
This is a real deal gem in hotel, ambiance, proprieters (who are so delightful they are the heart and soul of this vacation experience) Imagine popping by your favorite relatives you haven't seen in ages legitimately welcoming you...and with a cocktail, no less.

Do the springs thing, but stay here away from the maddening crowds.

We are well pleased with this Colorado perfect Bed and outstanding breakfast.

This place is awesome. The hosts, Jim and Odilia, are so welcoming and friendly, and clearly love what they do. Our room was beautiful - large, comfortable, and rustic. We enjoyed happy hour with Jim and Odilia, and Odilia served us some delicious appetizers. Breakfast was amazing as well. If you go here, you must pet Kate, the regal house feline.

Could not have asked for more!

Jim and Odilia earned all this 5 star reviews. Our team offsite was a 12 on a 10 point scale in every categories. Food, hospitality, ambiance, view, hummingbirds!
We look forward to seeing Jim and Odilia again.

Such a great hotel! It feels like we’re visiting dear friends in such a beautiful and cozy home.

Everything was great. The hosts were so welcoming, and the rooms are big and super clean. The beds and pillows are really comfortable.
Breakfast was awesome, and made with so much love.

We were there with our 3 little kids and was perfection.

We arrived as strangers and left feeling part of their family.  We were greeted by Jim and Odilia when we arrived. Right away they made us feel like we were home. The place is just beautiful!  The room was more than we could ask for, her breakfast was out of this world, and they have a happy hour from 5pm-7pm every day and Odilia serves home made appetizers. She also offers an evening meal,which is extra of course, with multiple options for the appetizer, entree, and dessert. We opted in for the dinner. We had the filet and you will not find a better steak at any top steakhouse. 
If you are in the area you must stay with them. Your stay will be unforgettable!

The Best B&B

My husband and I stayed here for our elopement trip! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We originally planned a big wedding with family and friends, but then decided that the stress and planning just wasn't what we had in mind for our big day. We found Jim and Odilia's B&B after looking at several different places, that just didn't have everything we needed. I reached out to them with questions, and I honestly expected to get another auto-generated email like I had from other elopement venues. Instead, I received a personalized email from Odilia herself. She answered every question I had, and then some. I knew right away this was the place we needed to have our elopement. After months of anticipation, and great communication with Odilia, we arrived at the most beautifully serene B&B I have ever seen! We were greeted with a hug from Odilia, who immediately felt like family! After getting settled in, we were then greeted downstairs by both Jim and Odilia for Happy Hour! We sat and talked details of the wedding, that was the next day, and ended up talking for a couple of hours with them. They had taken care of every single detail of our wedding. We didn't have to lift a finger the entire time we were there. Odilia had arranged my hair and makeup, ordered and picked up our cake and flowers, decorated the living room/dining space of the B&B beautifully to match our colors and decor. The ceremony was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Jim was the officiant, and he made the script and flow of the ceremony so perfect! He really got to know my husband and I in the short time we got to spend with them, and we felt like the script spoke so true to us as a couple. They were able to live stream the ceremony for us, as it was just the two of us with our families watching from our hometown. The photographer they had set up for us was also amazing!! He was very detailed, and really captured the day for us! Not only did they have everything set up magically, but Odilia prepared the most delicious meals for us for dinner!! It was everything we hoped for and more!! I would highly recommend them for hosting your wedding, or even just a fun getaway trip! The room we stayed in had everything we needed as well. You definitely won't go without here! They truly know what they are doing. I will forever be grateful we chose Elkwood Manor to get married! On our next trip through Pagosa Springs, we will definitely be stopping by for Happy Hour!!

Most amazing elopement experience!!!

Most often, a review is intended for the prospective patrons of destinations such as Elkwood Manor.  However, I want to take this opportunity to take a moment to directly thank you Odilia and Jim for helping us celebrate the marriage of our daughter.
     As parents of a bride to be, we envision our little girls wedding day from the moment she was born into our lives.  All we could hope for is that her special day is nothing short of perfect and one of the most cherished moments in their lives.  And thanks to you both Odilia and Jim, this was indeed that wedding of a lifetime.  
     You were both very gracious and welcoming to all in our party, and your attentiveness never left us wanting for anything.  The accommodations and amenities at Elkwood Manor are warm and inviting and everyone in our party enjoyed every moment of their stay.  
     The first moment we stepped foot on the expansive deck where the wedding was to take place, we knew that there was no more perfect location for a wedding than this.   The backdrop of the expansive valley below and the San Juan mountains in the distance, admittedly made us parents of the bride and groom a bit emotional.  
     Jim, you were a masterful officiant and although we had only met, we felt as if you were a part of the family. I have never witnessed a wedding such as this, where the wedding officiant was so invested in a ceremony where they too became just as emotional as we did! That spoke volumes in the type of person you are.   We are grateful to have met such a humble human being as you.
     Odilia, your warm and welcoming kindness to all of us was instrumental in helping to alleviate much of the stress that goes with the planning and preparation for a wedding.   Your attention to detail and the way you orchestrated your staff reassured us that this wedding was in good hands.  You are an exceptional cook and you really spoiled us with the chicken and waffle breakfast and my new favorite spicy maple syrup.  The wedding dinner you prepared was top notch, and everyone kept complimenting on the great dinner, and of course the appetizers immediately following the wedding.  You definitely know how to make people happy!
    Jim and Odilia, you have found your calling, and we are so grateful that we got to share this moment of a lifetime for our daughter and new son with you at Elkwood Manor.  “THANK YOU!”

Let me start by emphasizing that the view of the mountains from the very large deck is spectacular and very memorable! The owners are delightful and immediately made us feel welcome. I had read the reviews before booking and am so glad we were able to book a stay here!

Our ultimate compliment is that we felt so welcome in their personal home. Yes it is an exquisite 5 star B & B and so much more. Jim & Odilla are natural hosts and their considerate/ exceptional touches make all the difference.  As 60+ year Coloradans allow us to say their graciousness fits the majestic environment of the San Juan mountains.
