My sister got married in December and it was absolutely magical! This venue is gorgeous and the hosts were so incredibly helpful. The hosts were accessible when needed and the house was completely spotless. Every room is designed with a different global region in mind which made for an exciting tour of the whole house. Also The hot tub has an amazing view! Anyone looking for a wedding venue or a fun family gathering, this is the place!

Amazing wedding venue

This is a great place for a group, company or family event but we were there just for hunting and upgraded to the Guest house.  The staff were all sheer delights.  Our hunting guide was very accommodating, a wealth of hunting knowledge he was happy to share and just a great guy to spend time with.  His sidekick Pancho is quiet but a great energy.  McKinsey ran the house and cooked all of our gourmet meals.  

The set up of the hunting facilities and the program is top notch and they are looking to add to both quality of experience and new experiences in which we look forward to partaking our next visit.

Great Experience with Amazing Team Members

My boyfriend told me he had a surprise trip planned after Thanksgiving.  Although it was dark when we arrived to the “secret destination” (the Keyah Grande guest house), I was completely in awe of its tranquil beauty.  The event coordinator and head chef, McKenzie, was waiting by the door when we arrived.  She was excited to see us and offered us each a glass of wine.  McKenzie was warm and welcoming.  We immediately felt at ease, as if we were visiting with a friend.  During our initial tour of the guest house, I was struck by the beautiful artwork displayed on almost every wall of the house.  McKenzie later shared with us that each themed guest room includes artwork and original pieces from the country it represents.  My boyfriend and I had the unique opportunity to spend the entire weekend in the house, by ourselves.  Upon learning this fact I immediately started crying.  I have never stayed in a house so beautiful and richly decorated, yet I immediately felt like I was home.  Our days were filled with exploring the Keyah Grande Ranch via four wheeler, viewing the breathtaking mountain landscape from our suite window, enjoying on-site massages and facials, sitting by the large living room fireplace eating dessert, indulging in chef prepared meals for two and watching the evening snow fall as we relaxed in the outdoor hot tubs.    

McKenzie took care of all the details of every activity and every meal, ensuring every meal we shared together was special and intimate accompanied by candlelight and served in the beautiful dining room.  My boyfriend and I enjoy sampling a variety of foods on our trips together and McKenzie’s cuisine was by far some of the best we had tasted.  

On our final evening at Keyah Grande, McKenzie told me she had prepared a cake just for me.  Cake is my favorite dessert and I was honored that she would take time to prepare this final treat for us to enjoy.  When she delivered the cake to us, I noticed she had written “Will you marry me?” on the cake.  By the time I realized this, my boyfriend was on one knee.  What made this moment memorable was that McKenzie captured it on film and also volunteered to take several pictures of us leading up to, during and after our engagement.  We were, of course, so happy and we honestly felt like we were sharing our special moment with a friend, thanks to McKenzie.  My fiancé later informed me that McKenzie had been working with him personally, via text and phone call, in order to plan meals, activities and my surprise engagement over the course of only two days.    

Keyah Grande is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.  But both myself and my fiancé agree that our experience was memorable because of McKenzie.  Beyond providing high quality services for us, her uplifting attitude, positivity, honesty and willingness to work with us made our experience something we will never forget.  I left Keyah Grande with a fiancé, a once in a lifetime experience and a new friend.  I would recommend Keyah Grande to anyone who wishes to create a memorable experience for any occasion.  We certainly plan on returning to relive the beauty that is Keyah Grande and, of course, to see our friend.

An experience we will never forget

What can I say about Keyah Grande but exquisite! From the rooms, the views and service all above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I travel frequently and were pleasantly surprised by staying at KY. We have traveled to Colorado for the last 30 years never thinking about staying in Pagosa. There were 16 of us at one point at KY all our needs were met. Clean rooms very spacious all beautifully decorated. Snow was plentiful this year so sledding, snow shoeing and snow mobiling right out our front door. That is not even to say what the house has to offer. Spacious game room, sauna, hot tub (yes we all fit in) gym, bar and sitting areas. Room for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay. Plentiful bathrooms, jacuzzi tubs, sitting area in each room, comfy beds the WiFi is incredibly for that area. The kitchen is top of the line. Don’t want to cook they can arrange meals for you as well. The views are fantastic out each window. Not to mention the staff. McKenzie and Tyler will go out of their way to make you feel at home. If we needed anything just a text away. And like magic things were taken care of. Pagosa is a short 20 minute drive with great shopping and restaurants. Not to mention some of the best therapeutic spring around. Wolf Creek for skiing and hour away. We will sure to be back for a visit. Thank you Keyah Grande for making this a wonderful family memory for us!

This was a PERFECT stay!!! EVERYTHING about this place was PERFECT!! The BEST HOSPITALITY, McKenzie and her husband were the ABSOLUTE BEST!! My family, friends, and I will definitely be back. If you are looking for a perfect getaway, this is the place. You definitely will not be disappointed.

You will love Keyah Grande

We had our daughter's wedding at KG June 26-29 and "magical" is the only way to describe the entire event.  Jenny was more than accommodating throughout the entire process.  The house was "ours" for the duration and we hated to leave!  The house accommodated lodging for our family, wedding party and their guests, and our vendors.  It was wonderful to arrive, unpack and not have to leave the property for anything!  The spectacular views allow for different locations for the various events.  The welcome party on the patio Thursday, the rehearsal dinner around the fire pit Friday, the bridesmaid luncheon in the Zuber room, the groomsmen hangout in the game room, the wedding around the firepit, cocktail party at the overlook and hot tub area, reception throughout the house and dancing under the stars on the patio!  Decorations are a minimum because the house IS the decoration!  Our guests wondered why we were having our wedding in Pagosa Springs, but "got it" once they arrived!  We received multiple notes of thanks and praise for a "wonderful, memorable, best wedding ever" for months after the wedding!  When our guests speak of the wedding with others, they start off with, "that wedding was the best we've ever been to!"  Many of our guests want to have a reunion at KG, just to enjoy the house and property!  KG is the best kept secret in wedding planning!

We hosted our family and wedding party at Keyah Grande and all had a magical time. The scenery, facilities and staff are incomparable. Winter Wonderland

I rented the home for my family and guests for my son's wedding at a nearby bed-and-breakfast. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the property, which was beautiful and well-maintained. The views were gorgeous. It was a real treat to stay in such an lovely property.  Management was very responsive to every need. The guesthouse was comfortable and elegant at the same time.

Fabulous property

its really not possible to write a bad review for this fine property.  It is so unique and fitted out so beautifully.  The landscape is magnificent.  Having spent a week here, you can really checkout of the hustle and bustle of new York.  Not a direct flight but well worth the connection.  Totally recommend this home for a family vacation, wedding or gathering!
