Absolute great stay!  Owners are great and work hard to accomodate!  They check in with you every day.  Two trucks and two boats with excellent parking and electricity for charging boats.  Rooms excellent with big walk-in shower.  Definitely the place to stay if fishing Lake Erie.

Quaint, Clean and Roomy

The only reason that I didn’t give this 5 stars was because I reserve that for extremely enjoyable experiences. This location is completely redone. I mean from the roof to the outlets (which have USB charging). The unit is very clean and the bathroom is nicely appointed for the size. I found it to be a decent value as well. I would recommend this for the business traveler. Strong internet and good work space.

Old bones nicely refreshed

This motel was perfect for our overnight stay.  The room, which appeared newly renovated, is in need of a fresh paint job because patch work has been done to the walls and they look to be "unfinished".  The room is sparse on amenities - no shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer, clock, tv guide, area information binder, only one roll of toilet paper,  etc.  What it excelled at was cleanliness.  The room looked and smelled CLEAN!  
There are bars, restaurants, gas stations, and stores very close by.  
The owner checked us in.  It was an easy process and he was very kind.  Check in time is 2:00 p.m.  Check out is 10:00 a.m.
Rooms all have outside entrances.
I would 100% stay here again.  If you are in need of a no frills, clean, relatively inexpensive hotel, this is the place for you!

The owner is a Thief !

He stolen my brand new laptop on Wednesday September 6 2023 I checked out at 11 .
I forgot my laptop at the drew .

The owner himself clean the room. 

He lied about everything and didn't want to show me the security camera outside !

I reported the police! 
In the same day!

The owner pinduk stole My laptop!!

I think this is a sweet gem of a motel. It is being renovated. Beds are comfortable. The room I had was big. It’s not a grand hotel. But if you need a place to rest your head. This is a great place and I’ll stay again! It was clean.
The room has a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. We had an updated shower.

We were traveling through and wanted an inexpensive place to stay and this came up on booking.com.

The room was clean but did not have much in it. The king size bed only had two small flat pillows.

The real kicker was when we checked out in the morning they told us they had a no pet policy and wanted us to pay a $250 charge for our toy, hypoallergenic puppy.

Not pet friendly

This is an older, smaller property that offers a clean and quiet room. Not at all fancy, but there have been updates. Bathroom is very modern with walk in shower, tiled walls, LED lamp touch operated mirror. Beds are decent, in need of updated bedspreads. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot in room. Walls are bare, which adds to the drabness but the room was very clean. Owner was onsite and very friendly and helpful. You can tell he is very proud of his property. Told us what had been done and what was coming in the future. Great price for the stay, and super convenient location for what we needed. Plenty of parking. Had zero issues or concerns while we were there. Would stay again without hesitation!

I stayed for three nights at Villa Rosa and it was very clean and very quiet. The proprietor was a kind gentleman and while there wasn’t a daily cleaning service, I thought the motel was Very Good. I would definitely stay there again. Four stars!

Villa Rosa Great Value

Obviously this is a Motel. Its also a Clean, Quiet motel. There was an ashtray in our room too....because we asked for a smoking room!! Non-smoking rooms are available.(no ashtray in room) I will agree to 'bring your own blanket'. There's only a sheet beneath the comforter. There is Truck Parking, for maybe..2 trucks? Call Ahead. And dont be surprised to find the manager waiting at the end of the property to guide you in! The room was not flashy or beautiful, but it was Clean, had a flat screen tv, refrig, microwave, coffee maker, comfortable beds, hot water, ice machine & great water pressure in the shower. All for half of what you pay for a Hotel. And, cinder-block walls---NO noise is getting through those! 

Why the Bad Reviews??

We love stay at retro Independant owned Motel’s all over the country with the owner on premise.

The owner was attentive to every request we made - extra pillows, additional coffee, etc.

The room has a college dorm size fridge, microwave & coffee maker. It has a large tv mounted to the wall & great WiFi - we brought a fire stick with us & worked great.

The owner is in the process of renovating the rooms - ask for one of those - it shows his focus on making the hotel better.
