I have stayed at All Worlds Resorts many times previously and always had a great time.  I have seen many of the other reviews and I would have to say, that has never been the case with me.  I have always had a very good experience with this resort. The front desk staff is exceptional and always helpful.  The housekeeping work like dogs to keep the place clean and it shows. The Maze, let's say this is such a huge part of why I stay and never disappointed. All in all, excellent time. Keep up the good work, it shows.

This is a gay resort. I had my big reservations due to reading of previous reviews we arrive there OK let’s be honest. This is not four seasons. However, I have stayed in many gay resorts, and this one is at par with the others and one was clean the sheets were clean, it was quiet we had a room away from the craziness of the maze yes, naughty things happen but you don’t have to be part of it if you don’t want to. The straight gentleman who is the ground keeper, and according to him living, there was very nice and respectful. I believe his name was Jack long story short at the end of the stay at a look to my. Partner I said hey, I might stay here again…..

I had a CONFIRMED reservation at another non-gay resort during an event weekend.  There was no mention of a THREE night minimum and I was put on a waiting list for an opening that may come available.  When they called me to say it was available I went ahead and cancelled the other reservation.  When I tried to book the stay that is when they sprung on me a minimum of a three night stay.  I asked for a manager to help me out and he told me he had no way to book a two night stay - this is a LIE.  Now I have no reservation anywhere - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO ANYONE.

Horrible experience

I hadn't stayed at All Worlds since before Covid, and wasn't sure how I would feel about the new changes (the single venue, the "no contact" checkin, the Maze, etc.). But EVERYTHING about my All Worlds experience was GREAT!!!

Even when I first booked my reservation - as just some random caller shopping around - Miguel (I think?) was super nice; he patiently answered all my dumb questions about the configuration of the rooms and the new changes, and booked me into the specific room I decided I wanted.

I've never had a "no contact" checkin before. So, I was a little nervous about that. But it was seamless. I got a timely text with the entry codes, and the room was clean and stocked with everything I needed: soaps, towels, refrigerator, a/c, Roku TV and FAST wi-fi. There was nothing to figure out, so I didn't need any assistance at all.

Since it was a holiday weekend, they staffed the desk from Friday to Monday. And EVERYONE who staffed the desk throughout the weekend was friendly and helpful, and treated me really nicely - even when I had more dumb questions. Cleaning staff do not enter your room during your stay. But the one time I had to ask for new towels and stuff at the desk, someone appeared at my door less than 5 minutes later with the stuff I asked for.

I do wish they had digital combination safes in the rooms (especially since we pretty much all travel with electronic devices now). One thing that concerned me on the website is that they very honestly highlight - IN CAPITAL LETTERS - that there are no safes in the rooms and tell you to "keep your valuables in your car." Yikes. Highlighting this warning made me wonder how safe the place was. BUT the place felt TOTALLY safe to me. They've reconfigured access to the Maze, so even though there are a lot of night pass guests, they're not really cruising the rooms to any bothersome degree. And since the desk is staffed when the Maze is open, there aren't a bunch of druggies or weirdos hassling you. So, my concern about how safe the place would be turned out to be a TOTAL NONISSUE. I felt completely safe leaving stuff in my room whether I was wandering around the premises, or whether I left the premises entirely.

Also, even though they say someone is on premises 24/7 and reachable by calling a provided number, I wasn't confident someone would actually answer. But when I did have one reason to call, someone (manager Austin I think) answered IMMEDIATELY. AND he was totally friendly. AND he EXPLICITLY encouraged me to call any time I had any problem whatsoever. And I did call once again to request a short checkout extension - and they were totally accommodating about that too.

The rooms are basic; they look exactly like what you see on the website. But they're clean, and have all the amenities I need. All Worlds is a really safe and super FUN place to stay, and everyone - LITERALLY EVERYONE - who worked there treated me like a valued guest. I know that should be obvious. But I have read a couple of negative reviews on here, and those reviewers sound like they stayed at a completely different All Worlds from the one I stayed at.

One more thing. Some of the "policies" on the website make the place sound more severe than it is. But the rules are TOTALLY FAIR and highlighted very clearly, again IN CAPITAL LETTERS. You don't get your deposit back if you cancel, and you don't get your money back if you shorten your stay. Also, if you're an a--h*le and you break rules, they can kick you out. But as long as you're not an a--h*le and don't break rules, All Worlds is a fantastic place to stay and play - and EVERYBODY treats you SO nicely. I highly recommend it.

FIVE STARS!

After reading all the one star reviews, I am not surprised I received the unprofessional treatment from the self-proclaimed "owner" Austin Basford. An emotionally labile, oversensitive individual, above reproach apparently, this man is ban-happy! A friend spied him at Chill staggering drunk one evening with that horrible rug! What a miserable soul. His name should be 'Bans'ford. Months ago, I simply asked a question about the availability of a rest room for my husband and friend who had been there on pass for the Sunday BBQ. They had torn down the poolside bathroom during reconstruction and I presumed they did not want patrons peeing in the pool or worse. I asked if there was a health code and he went off. "Are you threatening me?!" "No," I said, I'm merely asking, to learn from you, what the rules are in Palm Springs. " He continued his tirade, not mentioning banning me at the time. I wrote a letter to the manager about his defensive and unprofessional behavior to management and never got a response. He informed me patrons could use the bathroom in the front office(not always manned) and behind an unidentified door at the time. I recently went in to buy some sunglasses, and this Austin pops on the phone and asks me my name. "I think you're on the banned list since you trash-talked about our bathroom." I said I had asked a question about bathroom availability during reconstruction, yes, but no trash-talking. It was he who was trash-talking to a regular customer! He asked me to leave and that this resort "was not for everyone. We've only had 20 people on this list in 6 years. Try CCBC." Shocked, I left and look forward to talking to the real owner, someday. However, I wouldn't want to give my hard-earned money to a establishment that enable such a nincompoop. The Maze and BBQ are fun. I will miss them.

The horribly unprofessional Austin Bansford must go!

Disappointed. 

This resort chooses not to have any staff on hand for some reason. 

It felt isolated and lonely. 

The condition of the room was worn, especially the bathroom - although the room was generally clean. 

Their signature colors appear to be beige, purple and aqua - which are not particularly relaxing and inviting.

Just finished a 10 day stay at the new All Worlds (resort has moved next door to the original building).  I have nothing but great things to say - everyone we encountered from the time of booking to departure was very friendly and accommodating. I genuinely felt that they appreciated my business.  I booked a premium king and it was the size of a small studio apartment - perfect for our needs.  Our room was clean well appointed and had a small fridge, I requested a microwave and coffee maker and they were both in the room when we arrived. The location was fantastic, an easy walk to anywhere you would want to go in downtown PS. The new “Maze” was simply amazing! Would definitely stay again.

Great 10 Day Stay

12/05/2022  I places a 3 day stay in Feb and was shocked at the added fees. So I followed the direction to call the resort for explanation and was dumbfounded on the response and attitude from the person who answered the phone.  He said I don't like to be challenged and I will  cancel your reso.  I couldn't believe this.  I am the director on convention and tourism for IL and needed explanation of fees.  Fees are what the are and have no problem. Just want explanation.   He canceled my reso and said don't need people like me here.  I hope owners review this and respond.  i would have given -5 for there response to justifiable questions.  This may go a long was=y on the convection and tourism locally.  B NEGRO  ( should have read the reviews)

Miss leading fees  and unacceptable hotel employees attitude/practice OWNERS need to know

Don't waste your money! Run away from this place. Water wasn't working right. A heavy rock was thrown, while I was swimming, by a crazy guy probably drunk and drugged up. The power went out in part of the grounds and there is no access to the front desk, remote only. I felt unsafe there and then I was threatened to by the management or owner of the place because I checked out early and would not give me a refund of $932 that went down the drain... Even though I CHECKED OUT EARLY! Better off staying safely and comfortable at the Travelodge instead. Beware of this place and stay Safe!

Unsafe robbed vacay

Im noticing many other reviews have had a similar experience with Austin the manager and supposed owner. I was instructed on line to purchase a pass for their Maze event in the evening. 10 minutes after doing so I went to the resort to find that it was locked and no lights or reception was available. The next morning I called to see if I can get a refund for my ticket that was sold for a closed event. Like the other reviews Austin just turned the tables and accused me of disrupting his business. He said there is a no refund policy.  He later said if he sent a refund check I would be blacklisted and would not be able to return for life. It made no sense to me and felt he was selling tickets fraudulently. In any case I reported him to the Better Business Bureau and suggest others experiencing the irrational behavior of this man do the same. If he is the owner he is creating an unsafe environment for our LGBT+ community. At least I wasn’t staying at the resort and did not get kicked out like some others on these reviews.
