We stayed at the Quality inn and Suites in Panama and they copied my Driver's license and debit card I was told they would shred it the next day. The Manager refused to shred it stating that they keep it and mail it to their account in case anyone disputes the bill. The room was filthy! I have nothing positive to report my experience there.

Do not stay here!

There were hookers walking around the parking lot, only one of three light switches worked in the whole room, one of which was broken. Mold growing in the shower, holes all in the mattresses that look like there from the 80's. Plught in the wall filled with paint so you can't plug anything in. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Stay far far FAR AWAY!!!

Trash!!!

Super dirty room. The floors in bathroom and toilet were stained. There was roaches in there. And our bed sheets were stained !!! The AC buttons were broken, and the lock on the front door was broken as well. The half the lights weren’t working in the room. It was really dirty room and cheaply made.

Do not go it’s disgusting

I just walked in and there is literally mold on lamps, bathroom and bedroom in room 111. Musty smelling. I called the front desk and they told me they were sold out and would send someone to check on it in the morning. Really?

Mold in room

The property is under renovations so looks a bit like a construction site.  Asked for a renovated room which was disappointing because the renovations are only half hearted.
Examples; the bathroom tub and toilet and surround was new but the bathroom fan was so full of lint and grime that when turned on, it “rained” black lint on the floor and toilet. The 90’s curtain was not replaced and in fact was hanging off the pull rod.
Our room had an area with a couch but there was no lighting in that area making it unsuitable for use.  The manager promised to look for a lamp to solve the problem. Never heard back from him. Wish I had  not stayed here.

There are Better Places to Stay

It is overpriced. Rooms are in poor condition. Not very clean. And most of all the atmosphere outside does not feel safe if you are with family. There were some people barbequing and drinking and don't know what was happening but really weird smell was all over there. 

Does not feel safe

The infrastructure is in poor condition. Rooms are poorly kept. Fixture are detached from walls. And overall, the rooms smell heavily like mildew. Although rooms are non smoking, guests do smoke in the main hallways, and the foul smoke odor makes it inside the rooms. Will not stay again.  This is barely a 2 star hotel at the price of a 4 star one. Extremely disappointed.

Overpriced property

My wife and I stayed at this place because I stayed at a quality inn in Vermont. Big mistake, first the young man at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Now the none smoking room smelled like cigar smoke. The desk and chair looked like it came from the dump. The shower stall was decaying with rot and mold, a lot of mold nats in the room. The TV remote did not work, the hairdryer did not work, get the picture!! We checked in about 4 and checked out about 10pm with a dinner in between.

Don't

Starting with the bad points: Quite a noisy location as right on the 98 so lots of traffic. We were also woken by a neighbouring homes' cockerel from 5am. Front desk staff were rude. As others have noted, room had a really unpleasant, musty smell. Had to ask for additional bedding for the sofa bed and the one sheet provided didn't smell or feel clean.

Good points: Although the room smelled unpleasant, it was large and spacious, very clean and had a very comfortable bed and pillows. Laminate flooring in the main room and tiles in bathroom so you could see that the floors were clean. We had a king room with a sofa bed for our daughter. Our king bed was huge! Wifi worked well. Breakfast was really good and the breakfast room was spacious, clean and well tended. There's a really great pizza joint just a minute walk away.

This hotel is great if your staying a night, but I would not stay more than that.The hotel room had some issues. The lighting on the lamp would flicker on a lamp. The entry way light would not work. The bath tub was starting to come apart. The pool had foliage in it, the breakfast was the most limited in what was served as i have seen in any Choice Hotel, and I travel a decent amount with them. You are about a 15 minute drive from the beach public beach. The airport is closer to PCB than where this is in PC. One more thing I will add is when you cross the "bridge" there is a dynamic shift. You will understand if and when you cross it. I did not feel unsafe, but I see how some might not. Great if you want to save and stay for just a day or 2. If longer look else where.
