We ran into issues before we even arrived. After paying in full we were emailed and asked for other identification thats fine and also complete another contract aswell as send over images of the front and back of our bank or credit card. This is totally unacceptable. Not something we have ever encountered. We contacted someone to find out what was going on to be confronted by someone who clearly didn't want to help and we were told if we didn't we couldn't have access to where we were staying. And hung the phone up twice. Contacted booking.com who contacted them. Got there to learn that other customers were having the same issues and they wanted to photocopy peoples bank/credit cards. We spoke with a lady who was very helpful and worked with us not against us. Got it sorted straight away and was very helpful. The other lady on the desk not helpful and customers were told if they didn't let her copy the card they wouldn't release the code to the property they were staying. This is disgraceful. Understand why you need something for accidentals but you do not need photo images of someones credit/bank cards. Anyone knows you do not let anyone have your details due to risk of fraud. As for the property. Not quite what we expected as others have stated all rooms aren't beach front we were in tower two across the road. The view was still nice but not what we expected. Property was a good size but sadly dirty could do with a good clean. There were marks everywhere. Strange smell in one of the bedrooms. Utensils were dirty we had to pre wash anything we wanted to use. Pretty much everything we needed in the property. Balcony well equipped. We would come back to pcb but i dont think we would use these again sadly.

Stressful start

Great location.... Plenty to see and do within walking distance.  Plenty of parking, and great beach access.  Views were amazing.  We actually booked through VRBO and got a residential condo, and not directly the resort. 

Complaints... Air conditioner was extremely loud... Would wake you up in your sleep.  Not sure if that was all condos, or just ours.  Also, we loved the balcony, but someone nearby was smoking pot half the time, so we didn't utilize it near as much as we would have liked 

Great music entertainment in the evenings, and the beach was AMAZING!

Great location, amazing views

We stayed at GrandPanama Tower 1 unit 201. On the second floor.  Beautiful views and didn’t have to use the elevator except for unloading. Check out Sunny Shores 1-201. You won’t regret it!! 3 br/2ba sleeps 8-10. Extra sleeper sofa and large bunk bed. Steps from doggie area. Pets 25lbs and under welcome. Large west facing balcony to view beautiful sunsets and fireworks off the pier. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Ladies weekend! Perfect!!

Stayed in the penthouse suite 2204 of Tower 1 on the top floor-22. Great directo ocean front views and a partial city view. Great location. Some things within walking distance. Easy access to beach front road.  2 Reserved parking spaces for this suite in the parking garage of tower 1 that cost $20 per pass.  Tower 1 parking garage only has about 15 parking spaces and they are all reserved for penthouse rooms only. Elevators were quick and only had to wait a few minutes during the busiest times and 1 of the 3 elevators was down almost the whole week. It does stop at floor 5 a lot though, because the main parking garage is in tower 2. Theres a skywalk to connect the 2 towers. Tiki bar next to pool with good drinks. About a 10 min. drive to pier park. You can rent chairs and loungers on the beach. The room itself could use a little sprucing up. Checked in on a Sat. and took about 18 hrs. for the fridge to cool down to the correct temp. Maybe wait a day to go to the store. Condo sleeps 10 but there's only 9 bath towels. Thankfully, we had the washer and dryer. No beach towels but theres a gift shop in walking distance. There's extra pillows in the closets but no pillowcases. Exhaust fan light above stove doesn't work. Under cabinet lights in the kitchen and bar don't work. Light it the master bathroom needs replaced. Microwave button has a huge hole in it. The metal casing around the furnace is missing a screw. No big deal, but being there during Fred...super windy and it kept rattling. Couldn't figure out how to work the cable tv in all the rooms except for master. No remotes in the 2nd master. Master toilet handle needs to be fixed. Dishwasher was plugged into the wrong outlet that didn't work. Outlet behind Master #1 nightstand...top half don't work. Top outlet in bunkroom don't work. Balcony furniture very uncomfortable on the arms. All of the issues were super minor but figured nobody had brought this to the owners attention. Salt and pepper would have been a wonderful addition to this condo. They have a closet with beach toys. There were no chairs or umbrellas there. Again, gifts shops everywhere.  We did end up leaving 1 umbrella. Our group of 8 had a wonderful time and would definitely come back. I would recommend this condo to others.

Good location, good parking, good condo, good views

1-1206 Is so dirty.. dirty bedding, dirty floors, pet hair, dirty dishes in the cabients. Looks like someone put  cigarettes out all over balcony, You couldn't use anything in the kitchen without washing it first. This place is disgusting. Roaches in both bathrooms.

Filthy

First, Grand Panama Beach Resort at PCB has such a late check in time, 4 pm, that you loose your entire first beach day! Only has 3 elevators that stays packed! Our second day there, elevators were down so we had to climb 12 flights of stairs! It was 96 degrees that day!!! Upon checking in, the master bath toilet seat was barely hanging on.  Then in the other bedroom, there was dried dog poop on the floor. The balcony sliding door handle was broken. The coffee pot wasn’t working! Had to wait for staff to go buy us one. So many people in these two huge towers that you barely can ding a spot in the beach to set up your chair and umbrella. Had to buy a parking pass at $20 per car ($40 for us) then the garage is a total nightmare!!! Circling up to 5 th level is such a dangerous risk! Bad design for certain and the spaces are so narrow. Very hard to park and back out! For the amount of Money  we spent for this two bedroom with bunk beds out in the hallway, was totally disappointing.  There was no dresser or drawers to store any of our clothes for the week. Yes, there was a closet in the two bedrooms but no clothes hangers!  Made for an uncomfortable week. Oh and we had to have the sofa bed that week also, but guess what? It was broken too!! Never will we stay there again!!!

UNHAPPY VACATION STAY

The room is nice, the view is nice, the proximity to the ocean is nice, but the rest not so much. We were told the room would be ready at 4pm, so we show up at 5pm, and they're still cleaning. No big deal. When they're done, they let us in, and then we go back to the car to get the rest of our stuff. We come back to the room to find the code the lobby gave us does not work. I called the lobby, who transferred me to someone else (because they don't know) 4 times, 3 of the times they hung up on me, and the final time they also said, 'I don't know'. How do you not know the code to a room in your building? I then had to call multiple people, eventually finding the manager of the room, to get the code. This was like a 45 minute ordeal. Then to add to that, the toilet started leaking. Whatever, it happens. But the code thing, how does the lobby not know the code, and why did they give us a code that didn't work? That literally makes no sense. Also, if you bought a 'beach front' unit, you might be paying (and paying extra) for a room that's on the second tower, not on the beach. Wish they were a bit more clear about that.

Also, literally what hotel makes you BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER, and doesn't even have hand soap in the bathrooms?

Overall annoying experience

This review is about the owner of condo unit 2-1207 at Grand Panama in PCB and the management company Emerald View Resorts - I booked my families condo in February 2021 for a stay June 18-23 2021 and the entire 30 days prior to May18th the  management office remained in touch with me , sending final check in information , communicating back and forth information about the visit in June. On May 18 I was attempting to make my final payment ( it was confirmed by the office due by June 4 ) the payment would not go through after speaking with a number of people I finally get a call back stating my reservation was cancelled on May 13 due to the owner selling the unit.  A full refund would be made in 7-10 business days on the original form of payment ... very disheartened and upset I had no choice but to cancel my families plans to come to the beach - nothing available this close to the time they took off of work.  On May 25 I attempt to contact the office to check on my refund - no answer - today on May 26 I again attempt to contact the office and after numerous calls I finally got through - they could not figure out why my refund had not taken place nor was showing to take place so I had to wait for a call back - the call back stated because of some issue in their system I now have to wait for a paper check and it will now be an additional 2-3 weeks. The employee chastised me and fussed at me for all they are having to go through with these cancellations, this entire think stinks and I do not recommend this management company nor Any condos they represent. They handled this completely wrong and treated me poorly — the reason given was the owner did an auction sell of a large group of their condos well I’m guessing that doesn’t happen overnight - and also why did it take me contacting them ????? Very disappointing , disenchanting if the entire situation. I had to contact them and find out 5 days after my reservation was cancelled that it happened , I had to contact them 7 days after that to find out that my refund ( that should have been issued in May 13 - was not and now would be a check and I have to wait another 2-3 weeks...... seams like they were hoping I’d forget or give up and they might keep my money ????  Provisions should be made to protect the consumers ( guest - payer of goods )  in situations like this , this was what I was saying when she yelled at me and slammed the phone down.

Do Not Recommend

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We had to take cold showers because the water heater "is not a house water heater" per maintenance, there were no blankets, the customer service is AWFUL!! The elevator for 30 floors were always out of order. There were 2 towels in the bathroom. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. The sheets were like sand paper. I had to buy blankets, because I didn't notice in one of the 10 emails they sent me you have to bring your own blankets. There was no broom to sweep up the sand. I thought the vacuum cleaner was going to blow up when I tried to use it. They literally ruined my vacation.

DO NOT STAY HERE

My husband and I have stayed at Grand Panama 3 times over the last 4 years.  The first year was great but we did not rent from Emerald View.  The last two years were unacceptable.
We stay for 2 months--Jan-Feb.  In 2020 we gave Emerald View a pass thinking that maybe the unit was due for a facelift.  However, this year they put us in a unit that was in terrible shape.  There was carpeting in both bedrooms and in the bunk area that was dirty and stained.  It was so bad that I actually bought spray carpet cleaner to see if it would help.  The furniture was dingy and broken down.  I also detected the slight odor of dog in the living area.  
I could offer more detail but suffice it to say that our unit--1-205--was not in good shape in any way.
I would never rent from Emerald View Resorts again.  But, Grand Panama property is really wonderful.  We're sad that we couldn't find accommodations next year through another management company.
