This is a great place to stay.  The pool and hot tub were very relaxing,rooms were spacious and clean.  They serve a full hot breakfast until 10am.  I would stay here again if in the area.  Polly at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly.

Great place

We are two Australian couples driving across USA and choosing random places to stop. Parker's Prairie was a gem and the hotel was a diamond. Ideally located next to the lake, this hotel is well maintained with extra touches such as a black face washer for the ladies to remove makeup. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

A Great Place to Stay

Needed to stay in the area and this appeared to be the nicest hotel within reasonable distance. Was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Very nice lobby, check in was great, and hotel clerk was very accomodating. Beds were very comfortable and room was clean and smelled fresh. Excellent sleep quality. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Already booked another night for when returning to the area. Nice work GrandStay team!

Great room in a quiet little town

Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean and had a hot tub. The deluxe continental breakfast was delicious, with several options. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Quiet, comfortable place

We stayed at this hotel a couple of nights over the holidays and found it very nice. The room was nice, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. I was impressed that they did the little things well, such as outlets next to the beds and air fresheners in the bathrooms.  These little things really help made the stay more enjoyable.  The breakfast included hot food that had good taste and had variety each day.  We will stay here again.

They do the little things well

We stayed in a King Deluxe room. It was very large and comfortable. It had a couch, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a large bathroom with a nice deep sink.  The breakfast included in the price had a large selection of items including eggs and sausage. We really enjoyed our two night stay. 

Great hotel with warm breakfast 

We had 3 rooms to stay here during opening season of Minnesota deer hunting weekend. Rooms and accommodations were clean, staff was friendly and flexible as they moved the breakfast times to work with those heading to the woods early in the morning. Excellent experience. WiFi was not the best but we were there to hunt so all was good. I would certainly stay again. 

Very Good Weekend 

With the change in ownership/management to those who are taking over hotels in MN there is a decline in service.  One morning they were vacuuming at 7 in the morning.  So much for sleeping in.  The beds are still good and the rooms are the same as they have been.

Breakfast has really gone down in quality.  There used to be the usual plus eggs and sausage, or biscuits and gravy, or omelets - no more.  There was hot chocolate mix but no hot water.  There was oatmeal but no microwave to cook it.

Friends with reservations from previous management told me if they didn't have confirmation number with nightly charge, new management wanted to greatly increase the room rate.  

We won't be staying here again.

change of ownership/management - it shows

When we got in our room, I saw extension cords hanging from both tv’s. We soon found out why, we had to keep unplugging the dish receiver to reset it. Several times it took over a half an hour of this to get a channel to come on. We called the desk and had an employee come and check it out only to hear from everyone we have no idea what’s wrong. When checking out we complained and the manager said that this room has had problems, when we asked to be compensated she gave us a whole $15 dollars off. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Poor treatment

Uncomfortable beds and rooms needed some deep cleaning. Outlets were loose and Wifi was spotty. Woken up 2 days in a room even with do not disturb sign out for housekeeping. Breakfast was not good. Gravy had a layer on top both days, juice smelled fermented and the waffles had a bitter taste to it. Other choices were not good and we ended up getting breakfast elsewhere. Upon checkout, no one was at desk, but all our paperwork was set out on the counter for all to see and/or take. We had read the review and decided to take a chance to save on some driving time to our family's homes. We won't do this again.
