The property was dirty with trash in the hallway. 45 minutes to check in. The clerk kept complaining about their system. Everything smelled like smoke.  It was very dog friendly though with enough grassy area. 

Dirty, bad check in

Their was mold in the bathroom and the mattress was wore out and no coffee in the room even though they advertise it has. I went to the lobby to get coffee because it was not in the room and the lady was sleeping with mouth wide open and I had to beat on the widow to wake her up. The lobby was locked and then she tells me she will have coffee at 6am and not before.

Not clean.

Maid service is a bit lacking unless you request full services.  I always had clean towels and wash rags, but if you wanted the bed made, floor swept of coffee restocked you had to request it.  When I requested it, they did a great job.  To ME, these are things that should not have to be requested but that is just me.

My Stay at Super 8 Pascagula

I wish I had anything positive to say. Instead, just don’t stay here. We drove cross country in January and this was the worst of the many hotels and motels we stopped in. This hotel was filthy. Grime everywhere. Stained rug. Mold around the sink drain. Filthy doorknobs and light switches. Curtains with torn, sagging hems.  It had the thinnest towels I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The person at the front desk sat with his back to the hallway and literally had no idea who was coming and going.  It felt not quite safe to us. Breakfast? A couple of prepackaged stale tiny muffins that were quickly gone. We were so exhausted from a six hour drive we didn’t have the strength to check out and go someplace else for the night. But we woke up and got out as fast as we could in the morning. I didn’t even want to take a shower in the gross tub.  Awful place. 

Dirty, soiled, stained, nasty place

Don’t let the newly remolded fool you. Rooms were disgustingly dirty and smelled like smoke. Floors in bathroom appeared not to have been mopped and the tub was dirty. Beds were stained. Clerk on duty offered at 10% reduction but that never materialized. 

Filthy

The place is indoor-entry and doesn't have a working elevator. This shouldn't be in the fine print!
Manager was rude and nasty. 
Breakfast was yogurt from a dispenser or cereal. 
Loud, unsafe. 
Young lady at front desk was very friendly and helpful. 

Run-down and chaotic

Wanted non smoking king, given smoking king, and told it was our responsibility to say we wanted non.  Given non smoking twin, for $30 more, but had to pay with cash.
Manager had loud fight with folks in room next door at midnight.  Smoke alarm not in, just wire sticking from ceiling.   Pool just algae water. 
 Trying to get money back for 3rd unused night. 

Long list of negatives

Great value for price we stayed for 2 nights. Convenient to shopping, the beach and lots of fast food restaurants.  Easy check in and check out staff was friendly. Every staff person was wearing a mask as well.

We are Hurricane Ida Evacuees from New Orleans.  Told no vacancies, then suddenly there is one.  Room #207 was filthy.  Used towels tucked between the mattresses, dirty linen on beds.  Blood splatters on the ceiling and wall.  Large hole in bathroom door, hair in tub.  Mildewed lamp shade.

This hotel was pet friendly (an absolute necessity) and the staff provided good service. This was a one-night stop on an extended road trip. The area around the hotel was not the best, but for our purposes, it was convenient to the route we were taking.
